.
Well, yes. No late night, early morning forray between midnight and two. Did wake at the three alarm, deciding that was too early so on back to sleep. The five alarm just went off. I snoozed it, but then sat up before the next sounding. Ugh, I hate alarm clock sounds, if I do appreciate what they can do.
Lights on, blogging, as I get ready to dress and go down. PJs, really. Not doing any heavy work. Oh, but returning amazon things to go back, a trip to the hardware store again (the light fixture in the kitchen, fluorescent, went out... can't find the balast, or such?... not led though). So I will need to dress properly, before too long. After a shower.
So, I will be tinkering with that today. Doing a bit of business. Perhaps handling storage. If I can work, it will be light. Trying CLR on yhe windows, in an attempt to clear those fully. Then trying a trick with jet-dry to spray them to a streak-free finish. Maybe today, this evening, or tomorrow. Depending how difficult the light fixture replacement and the rest of it is on me.
Basically, I am finished for a bit. Broken. Only doing this part because we need light. Resting, for a week, or two. Other than testing some cleaners, maybe helping move laundry, and other very light, minimal, tasks. And lots of rest and sleep.
My body doesn't hurt, or not terribly. It is just absolutely exhausted. Tending the branches, trees. Cutting the limbs, parting and moving many of those, and such, has absolutely crushed me. It feels good, in several ways. But... that is that for a bit.

Mom made heart, beef, last night. Between her and myself, we got it just right. She put it in the crockpot, while I was in town. She wanted to keep it going. She cooks things to death! No, said I. Turn it off, unplug it, turn it back on to 'warm' an hour before I get up. Perfect. I ate half the thing. Truly needed it, was able to eat a lot of it.
Today, I think we will heat the steak in the oven, or even in a shallow simmering pot? Then slice it to put on salad. With my ranch (for perfect consistency, a pack of clean keto ranch powder, 1/2 cup of both sour cream and whole cream, one whole (8 ounce, I think) pack of cream cheese, and a pinch of ground pepper), then mix that in a smoothie blender... or whatever will handle it. No carbs, basically. Fats, some protein, though maybe two random carbs in the whole pint? Might want to add a pinch of salt, or sprinkles of heat, garlic and or onion powder, dill, or such... to your preferrences.
As a famous chef type might say, you are the Blanche, of your very own ranch! Dressing and Devero? Or... such.
Well... on to coffee, a shower, making water, and other things. Later.
