Well?

.
.
Still working at things.  Hoping to make sure the first load is dry.  The fold that.  Checking on what is air drying while at it.  I did get a basket of things to take upstairs for now.  Some are blankets, which are still fresh, where folded a while back.  Would like to get them in those airtight bags.  Hmm, though really, some of those things should just be folded with the others.  Or... before.  Those won't be done for a bit.

I did get the bigger dirty dishes washed.  Some larger copper bowls, for egg work.  I'll... need to buy lemons, and use lemon and salt to shine them.  Neglected, for as expensive as they are.  Really keeping at things.  As well, changed two of the fermenting jars, soaked and washed those once.  Doing them one more time.  Then into the dishwasher they go.

Doing well.

.
.
Not as fast as I had hoped.  But I did get one load of laundry through, with the wools hanging to dry.  Another load started.  With no drying, being that the wools are air drying, just waiting on the wash.  As well, reset dishes, putting what the machine could handle into the machine.  Far from a full load, so I'll wait.

Kefir was reset.  I'm at the point where I can back off production.  For the next few days, since I went ahead with three quarts fermenting at once, I'll drink kefir with some abandon.  Two or three mugs a day.  As the third one is going down, I am feeling rather warm, from the inside out?  I was beginning to wonder if the kefir is what is elevating, or holding, blood sugar.  So I checked it, right in the middle of feeling too warm.  Nope, blood sugar is down to 109.  While not superior, after my meal, two kefirs, and a fatted coffee, and what it has been running, it's... better.  And, really?  At 109, after my main, probably only, meal, that's not bad at all.  When a doctor tells you that medicine is required?  Get an honest, wise, or smart doctor.  For many people, who won't or can't change?  Okay.  But... the medicine will kill you.  On a different trajectory.  Faster?  If it takes out your kidneys and liver, or other things?  Who can really say for certain.

Started.

.
.
Dishes, put away, first.  Then those soaking, that would fit, were put into the machine.  The rest were set to another soak, to be washed by hands, and any found here or there.  Some were from cooking and eating recently, most were found while digging through the kitchen.  Not... dirty dishes, mostly.  Dusty.  And, mostly just jars and just from half gallon to two gallon.  Not all will fit the dishwasher, and some oddball things need to be hand washed.

The dishwasher is going.  After it got set up, and sounded to be running it's first cycle, I then started a load of wools.  A few smaller blankets, and socks.  Nothing fancy, but good to have those running.  When those are done, everything gets hung.  Then I begin going through what else is in there, for a next load or three.

Sleeping longer hours.

.
.
Not sure why.  The cool, of spring, and darkness?  Maybe.  I was down a bit after twenty two hundred hours, then up a bit after eight.  Not excessive, but...  I started waking around five thirty.  Then seven.  Rolled back into it.  Could have slept more, but wanted to be up.  Would have gotten up at five thirty if that had been possible.

I looked through the vehicle again, for the wallet, first thing.  It's 34 out there.  Not frigid, but rather cool for this time of year?  I think so.  No wallet.  I thought there was a place or two to look, in case I hadn't.  Three places.  But I looked everywhere, again.  The places I didn't remember looking, two of them had been checked.  They were cleaned out.  The other places had sunglasses in them, so, no.  It couldn't have been put there.

Not much?

.
.
I just wasn't able to get to things.  I may put the dishes away, I did run one load.

I did reheat chicken.  As well, had corn and peas.

Some one... said something.

.
.
I wasn't sure I wanted to go with them, with that.

But... fine.

As good the second time.

.
.
Chicken is so particular.  You can't over, or under, cook it.  Or it really shows, tastes wrong.  It has to be pretty fresh, but also cleaned and processed very quickly, and frozen fast.  It is highly subject to freezer burn, and acquiring other, off, flavors in the refrigerator.

If you and your vender, and their vender, and the producers, all do their part?  You get good first run chicken.  Leftovers are just as tricky.  Heating it too much, too long, and the texture and/or flavor can be really off.  Not enough and it just isn't good.

Gonna have to get the griddle going.

.
.
It's that time of the year.  The propane shouldn't freeze up.  I have to clear and clean the thing, and put a new tank in.  Eggs, corned beef hash, but this... this has been on my mind.

I wanted to make cheese steak phillies.  And may, from time to very rare time, or with the keto, or a, keto bread... homemade or otherwise, or just regular, sometimes.  But this?  I have found (if flour) keto tortillas that not only taste good, hold up, but also don't cause blood sugar spikes.  So... this one?  Yes.  It's more a matter of finding cheese with actual rennet.  I'd like to find cheddar, gouda, and a hot pepperjack or other hot spiced cheese.  But only with real rennet.

Strange morning.

.
.
I went down around 21:00?  I... have something I can check.  Will check in a bit.  Though my last post was around 20:24 or so.  So... maybe.  Though did I game for a while longer, more than half an hour?  I can't be sure.  I am at the second to last boss.  Though  I am going to do another playthrough, on easy mode.  I may do a third one on middling difficulty.  Perhaps two runs, to again increase efficiency.  If I get through that, I may do a try at the hardest difficulty.

There are a few things in the game I have to figure out.  Things not needed in the lessor difficulty level(s), that would be required at the higher difficulty.  Game mechanics, devices, better uses of weapons, and environmental tricks... if they exist.

A few things.

.
.
A shower.  Set up dishes to soak.  Roasted the chicken.

The chicken was really good, until it started getting cold.  A few cold bites absolutely destroyed my appetite.  Fine.  I'll part the rest of the bird, freeze the carcass, and put the parts in ziplocs.  It was good to have decent food.

Oh... was...

.
.
While commenting, I remembered something from some time back.  Had to find it.  Found it.  Enjoyed it.  Thought to share it.

While I found that, found another.  Hey... yeah... well?  Enjoy, or don't.

In digging.

.
.
I found my sous vide equipment.  Never did use it.  Thinking about it.  My only real problem?  I am not sure, at what temperature, plastic begins infusing the food.  Yes, it's... a concern.  Does it infuse food at any temperature?  Is it a time thing?  I just don't know.  But, yes, I do think about it.  With the dishwasher, I may go completely glass, for fridge containers and else.  Washing those things, to now, was simply too much.

Though, while pondering, and considering doing research regarding plastics, what is safer (honestly, if maybe they don't know or would simply lie), various notions about this and that, I found a video about how to optimize the use of the system.  And... an older video about why not.  Just... to add a few other opinions.

Seen in a whole new light.

.
.
I've posted this before.  Saw it posted today.

But, then, realized?  Pronouns.  They were laughing about it back when.

Up right at seven.

.
.
Had to check... several clocks and other time pieces, to make sure.  Just... had an odd feeling the time wasn't right.  It is.  Fed Sassy and checked the temperature out there this morning first thing.  The sun is just about to breach the eastern mountain front.  Even with it being rather cloudy, the types and way of it shines with an orange glow, through the varied cloud banks.  A beautiful stormy sort of morning.  It is a cool 22 out there.  Freezing the moisture right out of the air, for now.

Slept well, but a bit cold.  The temp, upstairs, was 61.  I had the furnace at 66.  The upstairs is usually staying in the low 60s.  As is this front room.  The furnace up, and the heat in this front room turned on, just to start the day.  I'll turn this one off in a bit, and the furnace down... after a shower.

No more.

.
.
A few things, plus the table saw put together.  It still needs to be adjusted, checked out.  Still, it's together.  The box, and packing, minus the device and else parts, probably weighs thirty to forty pounds?  Not a complaint, just... impressed, in a way.  The box was a bit beat up.  But everything inside was just fine.  Not a ding, dent, or scratch.  Impressed with packing tech, when they want to put the effort in.

A few other minor things, here and there.  Oh, and the Xterra cleaned out.  Not as much as hoped.  And the wallet still hasn't been found.  This, and that, and a few very small things.  Those few larger things.  And lots of plans.

Mostly together.

.
.
The stand, for the table saw, is together.  And... seems right.  All that remains is attaching the saw to it.  The right tools really help.  The last few times I put things together, I just used the tools included.  Gah!  I have ratcheting wrench sets (in both sae and metric.  More, I have power tools, fittings, and bits.  Yes, no.  I won't use the barely functional tools they include.  Now, grateful.  I will never knock that.  Sometimes... you just don't have the tools, or the tools with you where and when you want to put something together.  It's... a good thing to include those helpful baubles.

So, power tools out, wrenches, a 13 mm and 3/16" hex, and away I went.  Surprised it went so smoothly.  I did get the kickstand on in such a way, at first, that I was thinking they had drilled the holes in the wrong place, or... something.  Nope, just... flip and find the right holes.  Been there, done that, before.  :p  Screwed it well.

Well...

.
.
Gaming.  Then, when awake enough, I grabbed several flashlights, pulled the suv out of the garage, and... tore in.  Looking here, there, and everywhere.  Taking the trash out, organizing what was staying (always keep jumper cables and a toe strap, and... a few other things).  Boy was she a mess.  I really need to get the seats and benches out, and give her a real go with the shop vac and then the steam vac.

She is still in excellent shape, just... dirty.  It's been a few years since I've done what I should do.  Just slow rolling.  Engine is excellent.  Interior is like new other than the floor needing cleaned.  So... yeah.  But, no wallet.  Though I do know, without a doubt, the wallet isn't in there.  Probably.  I will... look again.

Awake and sorting the morning.

.
.
Raining, off and on, out there?  Or... was that just...  Let me check.  Nope.  Oh.  Must have been day dreaming.  I checked, outside, when I woke up.  It was 26.  Clear, too?  Mostly?  Not sure if I really looked, but it wasn't raining.  Frosted, the whole world.  I think it rained, lightly, later last night?  Before bedtime to be certain, down at ~23:00, up to nearly an hour later.  That rain all become hard frost.  Now it's is 34, a few hours after waking, and a dozen minutes exactly?  Or close enough.  Waking right around seven.

Sassy was fed first thing.  Been giving her extra attention.  We both need it, for no good reason.  Sometimes we are closer, sometimes we need more space.  That's true of siblings, parents, spouses, and pets.  If some of us seem to live quite securely on our own, by ourselves, for the most part.  Look... when even cats beg ME for attention, you... know I'm a bit of a loner.  :)  Oh, I'd like to have a woman about the place.  I must admit.  But her girlfriends and family would be for her social interaction.  I'm... just a group of gonads with a plan.  :p  Still, could eat together, sometimes, and talk, from time to time.  She wouldn't let me forget I'm alive.  Women!

Almost certain she still watches.

.
.
And she... knows where, and what, I have written about her.

It seems she wasn't too upset, about my remembrance.

Not much.

.
.
Someone suggested food.  I... have those things.  I think.  Might get to it.  Hungry, and yet not?  Rain, sometimes extremely heavy.  The last few days, even weeks, off and on.  Though good.  The dam is full.  And there is still snowpack to be delivered through the spring.  The trick it to have it going out, being used, before it all melts?  Or stops raining.  But... has to stop raining or the crops can't go in.  Tricks and traps.

Cool, too.  It was 34 midmorning.  Still is 34.  Just above freezing and wet as can be.  So just about as cold as the temperature allows.  Still, it's got that spring feel to it.

Five thirty or so.

.
.
A bit of time waking.  Sorting thoughts.  No work was done, just... keeping the list as it was.  Muscles burn.  Ache.  Joints, ligaments, else stretched.  I... worked hard, there for a while.  Knew I would need some downtime.  Getting it.  Still, trying to do... at least little things.  Will do what is possible, possibly a bit more.  Won't push and shove and sprint for a finish line that... keeps moving anyway.

A few new, a few old, tunes.  Yes.  She knows who she is.

More sleep.

.
.
Down somewhere between 23:00 and 24:00?  Maybe.  Pretty close in there.  Up at ~5:24.  Sleeping a lot.  Needing it.  Weather moved in.  Not cold, cool and wet.  Raining frequently.  It must have rained just a bit before I got out to put the trash bin at the roadside.

Feet and legs are in very good trim.  No odd bulges from excess water.  swelling over the whole of the lower extremities is gone.  Just a bit of puffiness on the top of the left foot.  That'll... take a bit.  Fluid is leaving the body, over time.  Not a fast thing.  Until it does, I may be a bit sluggish.  Doc really should have just given me scripts, even just for the water pills.  He wasn't being a pussy, he was being an asshole.  Or whoever controls him was being one.  Or both.  Never can tell.  I've fixed it.

A very pleasant surprise.

.
.
I ate out earlier.  And, while picking things up at the hardware store, I bought candy bars as a treat, snickers.  One for each of us.  I ate mine immediately.  Hungry, in a wrong way, right when temptation was present.  Then, after returning home, I had spaghetti... all minimally keto, mostly carnivore.  So I was a bit worried about blood sugar.

When waking, a few hours ago, I decided to test.  Might as well know the damages.  Blood sugar was 103, fasting.  I'd take that any day, these days.  Why?  How?  I guess doing work helps?  Can't be absolutely sure.  I did test after all that, and blood sugar was 122.  I expected it to go up.  Nope.

A very good rest.

.
.
Down between 18:00 and 19:00, up at ~3:30, give or take a decade.  Sassy fed, teeth scrubbed, tea water heated, and then set.  Almost ready.  Oh, before I got down, I put in a new nose piece on my glasses.  The nose piece kit had a screwdriver, tweezers, and even a small flathead screwdriver.  Most likely for tightening some parts of the glasses.  I'll remember, though I did ad a small screwdriver kit to my glasses storage box as well.

A shave sometime today?  Maybe, or tomorrow.  Another shower?  Maybe.  But, if I do that, after I set dishes to soak, then get those in the machine.  A new vacuum cleaner arrived.  I haven't opened it yet, but may today.  Trying it out as a finishing touch in the master bedroom.  And, if it works, in the living room.  Both of those rooms have been cleaned down to just carpet and dust or whatever.
