Up at around four?

.
.
Something like that.  It is just hitting 05:10.  Sassy was fed.  She slept with me some of the night?  Actually, all of the night.  But slept over beside my bedroll rather than in it, with me.  Which is fine.  I gave her some attention through the night.  Ears, her neck, and the top of her head are her favorites.  I just itch, make the motion, she arranges herself to be itched where she prefers.

It was 75 up there, near me, 72 in the main, 72 to 70 down here, and 52 outside.  Sort of a strange thing.  No ac's were running.  The ceiling fan downstairs, and a fan upstairs, everything else mostly open.  Pleasant.  Neither too hot nor too cool, didn't need to tuck into the blankets, but enjoyed being lightly wrapped in one of them?

Still pretty cool out there.

.
.
Up nine points, to 41, just a bit before 08:00.  I had to close the windows.  The cold was getting into the house.  It had dropped from 68 when I came down to 65.  Very strange, those windows had been open all night already.  Maybe morning air movement was bringing it in, but I didn't feel that.  Just, of a sudden, a sudden frigid environment.

Someone is visiting very old posts.  I'm never sure why.  Just as stories?  Is there some understanding, belief, or the want of such?  I never can tell why.  Some of those stories bring back rather strong memories.  Nancy, Shelly before her, the pressures of chastity when... I didn't know better, of my own accord.  I simply knew that... some things weren't allowed by civil society, in spite of almost being pushed by it?  The confusion as lies build up and pregnancies can happen.  It's all a trap, and, yet, not.  It just seemed, doing the right thing, or the wrong thing, made me the bad guy.  Even by the bad guy who became the good guy who... wanted me to be the bad guy.  I was the bad guy, I just... didn't want to... make babies, quite yet.

Other memories, thoughts.  Someone is digging.  Dreams, which... may or may not have anything to do with a past I don't remember.  Dreams, of course, always have elements of fiction, or often can.  But... not always.  And, not always the one some suspect.  I account my dreams as well as I may.  Even if I know something in the dream is not accurate to life, I write it as I dreamed it, not as I know it.  And I pretty much stick to the script, even if I don't like the script.  The dream isn't mine to alter.

But very strange what is being picked to review.  All good.  I do see that my blog, like myself, is slowly dying.  I'm not sure which will hit bottom first.  Probably the blog.  I am not even certain it is being allowed visibility, if I do my part in that.  I think other parties make even a direct search difficult.  If one doesn't have a link to a post by which to enter, access may not be easily made.  My guess, then, is this is an old timer.

The wind is up, things are... possibly happening.

.
.
It was at 30 F, when I put the ducks in and brought in waterers, while fetching water.  I decided, however, with the wind, and recently warmer weather, to cover the rabbits.  I don't want them going into shock, getting sick, or even dying.  The one advantage of having at least two to a cage is, when it gets cold, they can huddle... and do.  I may, in the winter, bundle them in colder weather.  Small groups, but, yeah.  With enough room, they may do well enough together?

I did dream of two to three feet.  If it looks like, should that happen, it will be in Colorado.  Time will tell.  While I think we could use precip, I'm not sure two to three feet, at once, only to thaw almost immediately, would be fun.  Then again, maybe they could manage it.  I'm not sure what their limits are out here.  I just know everybody has them.

I am looking for other tools with which to more easily produce keto foods, batters, and drinks.  I found a bullet type blender.  I should have a mini processor somewhere, and a larger if mid-quality food processor.  I have a stick blender, and actually another with more parts to it.  All need cleaned and reset.  Finding a home for each, and a good place to use them, is going to be a trick.  Still, I may get to that yet tonight.

I did do a trim, of whiskers.  I have cleaned all the dishes and then some which were ready.  Most are still air drying.  I would like to get a shower as well.  Plus, I plan on making a cheese cake tonight... double that recipe, giver or take.  She used 140 grams, but the packages arrive in 225 grams, or something... so not quite double.  And I will bake it, if I'm not sure how long?  I would guess eight to fifteen minutes at 350.  I have an idea of what "done" looks and acts like, so... there is a chance.  I'll just start checking at the low end, then every two minutes.  I'll add frozen berries.  If it's too rich, I'll just eat half.

I've also been thinking, a cheese cake doesn't always have to be sweet.  Add, say, tuna, mackerel, or canned salmon... perhaps a few capers and gherkins and or other sich.  Dill would be a great herb, perhaps thyme, rosemary, sage, or a few others.  Not too many, one or two of those.  I'd think chilled would be best, the flavors would be more muted.  At least for a try.  Still, if that went well, in colder weather, that warm would make a wonderful potential light meal or side dish.  Yea, it's... how I think.  *wink*  With my stomach.  Always.  Gratefully, I rarely actually get to fill it.  And, now, on keto, I'm not... even interested, in fact... only of curiosity... or of the mind.

Well, I am warming the eggs a bit.  The cream cheese is in the bullet blender.  I should get to it.  Oh, and while at it, I'll blend some kefir.  Make it smooth rather than chunky.  I thought about adding berries to it, but only one berry dish per day, really... mostly.  Later.  Or good night if I fall and fail.  Sleep well, dream well, wake well, then get to it.

A bit rough going down.

.
.
A bit rough getting up.  But... just.  An edge, not a full blown body, head, and organ ache.  Just... enough to know I am alive.  Legs are slightly swollen in spite of drinking much less.  It may be that I drink a lot all at once, then don't drink for hours.  A strange habit of late, usually filled with kefir.  But I have been out of kefir, or down to the 'seed stock', which I wasn't willing to consume.  It takes a long time to get those cultures going!

I checked the kefir bottles tonight.  One was ready to top off and put in the fridge.  That bit of milk keeps the whey (watery stuff) from separating, and give the kefir food while in the fridge... as I wait to put it up until it is at peak kefir'ing.  It, without a bit more milk, has nowhere to go.  Even so, with the milk in, fresh, it needs a few days to be ready.

With five bottles, I am going to be cautious.  And I am going to try a different sort of rotation.  Rather than drinking it down to a third, I will drink it to half, fill it to two thirds while letting it sit out and kefir (which should take much less time), then top it and put it back in the queue.  It makes the kefiring process much faster, keeps more in the lineup (for those heavy days, when two or three cups simply isn't enough), and... some other things.  It's a matter of keeping up on milk.  I am trying to cut my kefiraholism, but... for now... I'll consume nearly at will.

I never did make another even small pan of soup.  That is going as I speak.  Actually, finished, just cooling.  When I put in fresh vegetables, I simmer for fifteen, then let cool for another fifteen.  This time I added... questionable spices.  Spices and herbs which didn't work so well with the beef stew.  This, being chicken, there is some hope.  It sure smells good.

Oh, and the salsa to which was added a tablespoon of whey?  Oh, wow.  That was sort of dry.  there was juice, but... dryish.  It is out of season, and they use what they have, etc.  But now?  That is absolutely the juiciest, spit developing, stuff I have had since last I had it fresh.  Oh, my, word.  That is excellent.  I will be making scrambled eggs, or an egg casserole, later... almost just for that.  Now, I burp it twice or three times a day, letting it breath.  And I am adding another tablespoon of live stuff per day.  I will, in the future, transfer it out of the plastic tub and into a glass canning jar, a pint one, without an airtight lid.  Oh, yes, that was absolutely superior.

Ducks are in.  The rabbits are still drinking so I left them to it.  Laundry to be washed has been collected from upstairs and down, and is ready for another load or two.  A shower shortly, again, and dishes at least set up and the counter cleared again.  Hopefully another load of dishes or two. to that counter.  Food, as discussed.  Litter was handled before bed.  Hmm, best feed the girls and then... take a bit of a break to finish waking and catch my breath.  It actually has already been a busy "morning".  Oh, and trash.  That... has to be collected, and more, and to the curb.  I don't think it is recycling, yet, but... that is coming.

Later.

Well?

.
.
The problem isn't energy, mostly.  I am using hot water at a terrible pace.  Two loads of laundry, three or four batches of pure hot water for washing and rinsing.  I am certain I will get another load of laundry and a shower in.  Ugh but that is a lot of hot water.  I'll get to dishes again shortly, after messing with dry laundry... and perhaps flipping one last load through... letting that finish before the next set of dishes... or... the other way?  Achk!  I'll figure it out as I go.

Oh, an idea to get away from so much tea?  Sure, there is milk, dairy and water kefir, plus tea.  But that usually sees me drinking gallons of tea.  The rest just can't be consumed in large volumes.  There are problems, like finding enough good fresh veggies at a reasonable price.  Even getting to town often enough is...  Still, even from time to time, this would do.  I have enough half gallon jars so I don't need to buy anything, aside from fruits and veggies.  Frozen fruit?  Not if it only says packaged in the US.  Trickery is annoying.

Then again...  I just threw myself at folding laundry.  *sigh*  Yes, I got about half of what is out.  But with three loads on the way, dishes, and a bath?  I'm about half way through dishes.  And I have beans to put up.  Which means making room in the reefer.  On top of else, I am quickly running out of steam.  I'll keep at it as long as I can.  All into the dryer at least, all sinks open and two jars ready, all clothes off the bed pad so the bed can be made.  It's just an extra clean layer, thankfully no incontinence issues to date.

Still a lot of work, and I need a break.  Later.
