Now, on to bed.

.
.
Gaming is addictive.  It's why I have been up late recently.  But, tonight, I decided to end it early.  All good.

I did check on the impact tool.  It is all set up, or so I am told.  Okay.  He came by when I was asleep, later at night?  Must have been after spraying mosquitos.  I am to bed before he is back, on that job.  I thanked him much.  I just wish he had let me know.  I can't wait to set it up and let it rip.

This tool is smaller than a fist.  Uhrm... my fist.  But that is still relatively small, for a tool which can put out 450 to 500 psi? is it?  Of torque.  Sleepy, can't sort things out later at night.  Mind goes to mush.  But I think that is about right.  As well, purchasing some smaller impact sockets, and some that have flex-heads.  Neither will offer as much torque as standard sockets, but they will get to places normal sockets, even with this mini tool, can get.  This is made for getting into the smallest possible areas.  With a lot of pressure.

If I wasn't so tired, I would get out and check it out tonight.  Just... time to go to bed.  With the house open, Sassy can come up and see me.  And, sometimes, she does.  Just for a bit, to say hello, then to scoot along her way.  It's still warm enough that she won't stay too long.  But, as it cools, she will want to sleep in with me.  As with other women types, I... have been a solid heater unit.  :p

I never did get some of the pepperoni sticks.  I'm going to now.  Goodnight, otherwise.  Sleep well.

Well...

.
.
Towels in, folded, put away.  But that is about it for today.  I realized, at about 20:00, that I hadn't turned the ac on at noon, or ever.  So, I went upstairs to check.  Not... horrible.  At 75/77, not bad at all.  I opened things up, and have three fans going, for the moment.  When I get up there, I will turn one of the little ones off, the one that has been running all day.  If that is as bad as it gets, I may be done with the ac.

It is 72 outside, 79 in this front room, 77 in the main room.  Mostly because I have been in there, gaming, for most of the day.  Which is fine.  It'll cool down, now that I have opened things up.  Maybe another couple of meat sticks, for something something.  Not... really hungry.  But at 900 to 1200 calories a day, I don't mind going to 1200 on some days.  Not even sure this will do it.  But, under 1200 is fine.

I did a few other things, just minor things, through the day.  Not getting me to where I want, housewise, but needing done anyway.  I'll probably clean the water softener a couple more times, then go to a yearly thing.  I am hoping it shows in the water, but who knows.  When you get used to softened water, it doesn't really feel different.  Though I am not convinced it was softening the water, was just salting it?  I... it wasn't working as it should have.  We'll see, I suppose.  Actually, my eyes were stinging when showering, even facing away.  I suspect there was salt just going through, along with hard water, for a double whammy.  I'll know shortly.

What is strange about the grout, betwixt the shower and tub?  It is only bad in about an eight inch strip.  The rest is very good.  I wonder if the salt, and hard water, are the problem.  They seem to drip from the base of the faucet.  I suppose I could check that out too.  Always something.

Well, on to some snacks and more water.  I have finally started being able to drink regular water.  It took a long time.  And I'm still not the best at it.  I don't understand what was, or even still is, the problem.  But I seem to be, mostly, over it.  Though, from time to time, I do doctor it... with vinegar, electrolytes, and even good quality sea salt.  Or, more often, a mix of some or all of those.  But, rarely these days.  Just when I get a hankering.  And the odd thing is, regular water used to make me really dry.  Now it doesn't.  Further, I don't wake up with a dry throat at night, or in the morning, as I used to do.  Not nightly, but... often.  Several times a week.

Yes, a snack, to finish my game level, then on to bed.  Dishes in the morning, and a shower... with fresh towels... yum!  Then, maybe, some straightening upstairs, the hatch bars (gah!), and laundry to be washed?  Not sure if I have much to wash, but... maybe, around.  Hmm, and breakfast, a good one... eggs and corned beef hash.  Or lunch.  Goodnight.

Dinner and a bit of work.

.
.
Nothing fancy.  Either way.

A pair of scant 3/8" cuts of beef roast, and a can of corn and green peas heated together.  Butter for those, a bit of onion which flavored the beef as it roasted, for adds.  And a jug of my fatted coffee, which was leftover from through the day.  Simply didn't drink fast today.

Then, while heating that up, all in one pot, I checked the towels.  Mostly dry.  I moved them a bit, so that the area under the clothes pins, and along the rope, would get to definitely dry.  It's the little things.  If there is any moisture on them, at all, they do get that moldy smell.  I hate that moldy smell.  I have enough odors in my life.

Probably just back to gaming for a bit.  Then, hopefully, dishes and the towels folded and in, a shower, and counters/flat surfaces in the kitchen.  Well, and some time yet this afternoon, the hatch bars changed out.

It is 87 out there, but cooler inside.  It is just hitting 78 in this front room, at least near the computer, but is 75 or so in the main.  Being  16:09, I'll go up and turn the ac on upstairs, to cool it for tonight.  Should be able to turn it off at bedtime.  Not a bad day.

Oh, got two groups of things down to the main pantry, and goth them stored.  Then brought a few things up, for the weekly pantry.  Including those canned goods used for dinner.  A single actual meal a day.  Plus two, or three, meat stick snacks, of two or three per sticks.  As well, a fatted coffee or three a day.  Though I don't always have a full meal.  Sometimes it is just snacks.  All good.  Later.

Ah! A bit!

.
.
While going back to hang laundry, I remembered I half the stuff needed to clear the water softener.  Iron-Out, is what the manufacturer, and the y.t. videogropher recommended.  So, that is what I got.  An half gallon or cool water, a cup of the stuff... stirred not shaken, down the saltwell tube it went.  Then I just set a run cycle.  I may need to do it several times.  It has run clean out of salt, several times.  And, I refilled the salt reservoir while at it.  At least I was using, from what I can tell, the best salt for it.

Then, the towels... bath sheets, hand towels, and wash cloths... out to the line.  They took up one whole fifty feet of line.  I had to use three spacers, to keep the towels from sagging to the ground.  But, all good.  Should be done by this afternoon.

While doing that, I used one of the plastic clothes pins to hold the pulley.  In doing so, it got twisted off it's basis.  So... I spent twenty minutes (or so it seemed) and a lot of energy, getting the thing back together.  Now, on the one side, I didn't waste.  I am making great efforts to fix, rather than toss.  As well, though not actually on the other hand, I figured out how to get those back together easier, for next time.  It's... like one of those mechanical puzzles.  Though, once you learn it, it's... not longer a challenge.  Okay, five minutes, but still.  Felt like twenty, and wore me out in some strange way, more than the other efforts?  Sort of.

Finally, I got to the front yard, and pulled the hoses out of the way, so I can mow when I can mow.  But it is open.  But, I didn't just stop there.  I went ahead and picked up sticks.  In the front yard anyway.  I spent as much time and energy to get it minimally cleared, then spent another ten... five... minutes getting any thing else I even thought might be rough to mow.  All of it?  No.  Small twigs remain, but I did what I could.

Very nice.  Very happy.  Not just work, but maintenance.  Now I will get Sasserwhositz a snack, then play games for a bit.  I'll set the alarm for a couple of hours.  Then, hit dishes.  Maybe do some clearing of counters and other surfaces.  Cleaning those if I have the energy, or getting that set up for the next run.  All good.  Today is looking to be a work day.  But, if I can finish the counters, and dishes, and laundry, that will be it for today.

Oh, now to get what is needed to work on the caulking in the bathroom, on the bathtub/shower connection points.  I've just been averting eyes, for far too long.  Time to start... fixing, repairing, doing.  So many little things.  May lead to bigger things.  So much to do!

Tomorrow?  Thawing some more meat, rearranging the freezers a bit, cleaning the bathroom, a shower, and more dishes?  Something like that.  Later.

Late.

.
.
It may be that the sun is coming up later?  No.  I'm not sure what it was.  And, it wasn't too warm.  I think it was 72, which in the summer is prime sleeping weather.  The windows were open, fresh air in abundance.  The fan was higher, so wasn't blowing the warmth right off me, so no cramping.  Still, I just couldn't get up.

I went to bed around 23:00, 23:23 when all was said and done.  The downstairs was open, and this front room is still 68, the main of the house is 73.  Even while it is up to 78 outside, I thought that is what I read.  I'll have to try to get to bed earlier.  That's all.  Working might help.

I have laundry to put out, today, towels.  So I won't be doing bedding today.  But I will be doing something.  And those towels are very heavy when slightly damp.  Actually, they are pretty heavy when dry.  All good.  Then to do dishes, and get those going again.  Then hit the freezer top and counters.  And, as a final thing, to put the brackets on the hatch?  Well, that is the idea.  Oh, and maybe move hoses and sprinklers to be able to mow the front lawn.  Though, I won't mow today.

Someone thinks the debt forgiveness, for student loans, will be deflationary.  That is true, but only if the debt is simply required to be written off.  If, what I suspect is the case, tax payers are left with the bill?  Then it will be muggles, nothing.  It will be pulling from the tax mules, again.  But it will neither increase nor decrease the supply of debt as money, just change it to a different payee.

Is the student loan program wrong?  Yes.  It should be expungable, in debt relief, like any other.  And, it shouldn't be so freely given.  Especially to people who won't be able to earn money from their degree, even should they receive it, due to the lack of quality of the degree.  You want a black's or women's study degree?  You have to hump that lard yourself.  Engineering?  Can't do calculus?  No money for you.  If you haven't been to pre-calc in highschool, you shouldn't be allowed into those degrees, until after you have gotten it in a two-year college, for example.  On your own nickel.  They are inexpensive enough, that is why they exist.  Prove your bones, then, maybe, get some loan money.

No loans, whatsoever, until after a year, or two, with solid Bs.  And, in a degree field that has proven to pay enough to warrant loans.

As to debt forgiveness?  If it is literally the banks eating it?  Sure.  If not, then no.  I think he is thinking ahead of himself.  Vox.  Or, he just doesn't care.  Not his taxes.  He hates the banks so much, he... gets ahead of himself.  We'll see.  Haven't found the particulars.  Just saying.

Well... medicine, a fatted coffee, a few pepperoni sticks, time to wake, a bit of gaming, then...  Actually, I'll put the towels out, first, then game for a few hours, then hit the dishes.  Hmm, may move the hoses, while out there.  Then work on the counters and freezer, and get the hatch back in order.  It's... a plan.  I like plans, especially when I think I can.  Won't work as I say, but... gives me a roadmap.

Later.

Depends.

.
.
Just how much work are you willing to do?  How much do you think you should do?  How much do you wish to bet that a little isn't enough?  About removing mildew from drawers.  My bet is on the short side.  Of course, that means I need either the clear spray paint or an actual shellac.

That chicken!

.
.
I was hoping it would hold on to the flavor, and the spices would keep the chicken good.  I did heat it in the oven.  Just for that slow heating process.  An half hour at 350 F, wrapped in foil.  No, aluminum won't hurt you unless you reach it's melting point, or near enough with time.  As well, I heated a can of beats.  I don't eat them often, they are pricey.  But, once in a while, with butter, it is a superior side.  Nothing else but water.  But that is good.

I don't even have an actual meal every day, now.  I often just have some beef sticks, pepperoni sticks, or such, two or three times a day, with a fatted coffee or two, and a few glasses of water.  It isn't sexy, it isn't haute cuisine.  But it is light on calories, and seems to get me through.  Sure, I do add powdered cream, and protein powder, to my coffee.  The meat sticks seems to be between 90 and 100 calories per, and claim about 9 g of both protein and fat, without any carbs.  Not that they can truly be believed.  But it's what they wrote, in any case.

It is 64.  A pleasant night.  Not much else done.  Well, I was checking the towels washed and folded away.  They smelled musty.  So, I was pulling them out, to wash them, when... I dragged the clean towels through Sassy's water bowl.  No, I... just washed them all all over again.  As well, I emptied that drawer, cleared it to the bits and dots in the bottom, and sprayed it with lysol.

I may investigate, yet, before bedtime, how to keep drawers, and contents, smelling fresh... without too many chemicals or else.  Some like potpourri.  I... just don't think so.  How much of that is just old musty, duty, stuff, sprayed with potent chemicals.  I suppose, if you made your own, with known food-grade herbs and spices?  Or... would that just be another sort of problem?  I need to clean those drawers, in the bathroom, and figure out how to get any musty, mildewy, sorts of things and odors out, without replacing one problem with another.  If I find something that works, I'll let you know.

It is already down to 64.  Should be a good night to open up and... still need the fans though.  But... it will be pleasant.

It's almost bedtime, otherwise.  So sleepy, for having done so little.  I will sleep well, for whatever reason.  Maybe work tomorrow.  It will be in my prayers.  As will youall.  Goodnight.

A very little.

.
.
It's just, still, a bit warm?  It is.  Cooling, and much better than when in the 90s, but the mid 80s is still a bit tight.  And, even in this front room, it reaches 81, with the main of the house reaching the mid 70s.  It was 84, last I looked, and seemed to be holding there since noon.  Though I didn't check before that?  So... while not burned out totally, I am just slightly, mostly, heat stressed.  Until it gets cooler, I'm sort of against it.

I had forgotten the towels.  I'm not sure how long they had been in there.  But, bleached well, they really hadn't gotten moldy.  Still smelled sweet.  So, out to the line.  I checked them just a bit ago.  Dry as dry can be.

I did get one of the lines tighter.  Nearly topped off.  A bit more stretching, and that should be that for as long as the line lasts.  The other line is loose, but... I just can't quite figure it out.  Not solo.  However, in that line of thinking, I found an item which might help, and plan to order them this coming month.  If it works, I will be quite happy.  It's this device.  I am hopeful, that it works as well as it seems it might.

I still have some hope to get to more, dishes, and a shower.  Perhaps clearing, if not cleaning yet, the freezer top and counters.  Will see, shortly.

As well, I am playing Doom.  Yes, I know.  I've been playing that game since 1993?  Some version of it.  The late 80's?  Something.  Part of my identity is tied to it.

On to... a break.  I'll get the towels in before long.  And, plan to put bedding out tomorrow.  Let it sun half the day, then flip it for the other half of the day.  Mats, blankets, all of it.  Just a bit of sun and air.  Well, that is the plan.  On to something or other.  Oh!  And maybe some roast, or chicken... with veggies of some sort.  Later.

Candy.

.
.
I remember her.  This song was directly for her.  She... visits, or used to, from time to time.  A never was.  Did she want to be?  I think so.  Secular, medical, type.  She was a disbeliever.  But... she came to believe in me, despite her greatest of intention, her will, her full push to otherwise perceive.  She became a believer.  She even surrendered her hatred.  Very odd.

To bed a bit earlier tonight.

.
.
Not much else done.  I put the roast and chicken away.  Just... not much else.  It is up to 79 in this front room, 76 in the main.  So, it's just a bit warm.  I am opening things a bit more, hoping to catch more cool, and for longer.  It is 64 outdoors, but will drop a goodly amount, probably.  In the mid to low 50s, perhaps.  I forgot the ac, for upstairs, until around 17:00?  It was 75/76 up there.  I thought it would be hotter, all closed up.  Perhaps with one fan going?  Be curious to see what it is at tonight.  I'll still probably just open it up when I go to bed, unless it is really warm, somehow.

A week to September.  For me, this summer is not going fast, or slow.  It's just normal time.  Strangely, for most of my ill life, time has moved incredibly slowly.  Even now, compared to other guys my age, I seem to run on... normal to slower time.  The world isn't escaping my grasp.  I am just moving in it, along through time, but not quickly, or as glacially slowly as I had been... up to, say, last summer?  Then it was hit or miss, until spring of this year.  So far, it's been more normal time... by feel.  Still, that it is already nearly September does... surprise... startle... just a bit.

On to bed.  Be well, sleep well, work hard, play rightly.  If you have to cheat to play, you are playing wrong.  I'll say a prayer for you tonight.  Oh yes, you'll be included.  By name, or pseudonym, or such.  If nothing else, when I get to sinners and saints, honest and liars, stupid and wise, etc?  You'll be in there.  Goodnight.

Delicious.

.
.
Chicken drumsticks and a chuck roast, finished, at their individual paces.

For the chicken, I sprinkled ground 90k cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.  Oh my word.  Chicken isn't... fantastic.  It is... meat.  But, even with the skin, it's rather tight.  Not a lot of flavor there.  I can, sometimes, like it just grilled.  But just a dash of heat for flavor, and it's grand.  I didn't use the really hot stuff.  This stuff doesn't even tickle my lips.  But, it puts a taste of heat on my tongue, through to the back of my throat, but not to my stomach.  It was very good.

Then I had a bit of the beef roast.  End cuts, which are more done.  I really should eat center cuts, when it is fresh, hot, and ready.  I think, from now on, I will.  The slightly overdone ends, while fresh off the heat, is... okay.  But the more rare parts would be the best.  From now on, that is what I will do.  For beef, not for pork.  Pork is fine, even if slightly overdone.  But is spooky to have underdone.

Very good.  It is staying about 86 out there.  Strange, I really would think that it would warm more through the day, hitting that temp at around noon.  But, no...  And it is still August, but toward the end.  To be honest, I am wondering if this is warmer than usual?  I haven't looked at averages, but they aren't putting out the real numbers these days, so not sure that would matter.  They may even have changed historic numbers.  Finding an older book, with numbers that are more honest, might be the way.  But... try to find that book.  Plus, with everything on amazon these days, even old books, in that format, or even reprints, have probably been altered.

Not getting to much.  Tired.  Groggy.  Maybe yet, who knows.  A bit of a break, as I digest dinner.  Then, perhaps, hopefully, to some work.  Later.

Partly cloudy.

.
.
Or so it seems.  Still, 85 out there.  Not a bad 85, actually as good as they get.  I best turn the ac on upstairs, though.  Or it'll be an oven when I try to go to bed.  Electricity was $100 and change last month.  That's very good, given the ac use.  Last year it was $150 or higher.  But, that was cheaper electricity, using two ac's most of the time, plus fans and else.

While prices have gone up, for all energy, my use has decreased.  I am learning how to dress, or dress down enough, and use fans, one ac, and else very efficiently.  But, too, this year is cooler.  I don't care what they tell you on the square or rectangular lie box.  Much cooler.  Never even hit 100 here?  I don't think so.  Only got to 98 maybe twice?  No, much cooler.  Cheaper, too, for it, if only have as much cheaper as it should be.

I haven't gotten to work, yet.  May or may not soon.  Bleh.

I did start the grill, though.  And will get the chicken and roast going.  A beef chuck this time.  I hope it is still okay.  Been frozen for... three months?  Well, can't cook and work, to be honest.  I could do little things, shorts tasks, though?  Hmm, especially if I stay near the timer.  Actually, I have started using two different timers.  Can't always hear the one in the kitchen.  The other one is a one and done.  So... I... mess that up, using just one.

Well, on to the checking the grill, to see if it is hot enough to cool down, to then begin cooking.  As it works, here, on mine, I have to push the thing to as hot as it gets, then back it down for slower cooking.  It's just how I do things.  I have tried other methods.  This... to me... is optimal, given my givens.  I try to be as efficient as possible.  This is as efficient as I can get it.  Later.

Down too late.

.
.
It was at least 23:00 when I went down.  Half, three quarters past, more like.  Such a lame day, without doing the plan or getting to work, being dark and cool.  It was what it was.  I'll try more today.  The hatch bars on, dishes, a shower, counters.  Those are... the targets for the day.

I suppose we will see.  Though, too, I think the chicken should be thawed, and the roast.  So, I will get those grilled.  Well, it's something.  When I get the freezer top cleared off, again, I will look to see what I have in there.  I don't need more to that, but I would like to put some packages over into the fridge freezer, which is getting a bit low.

I should go through what I have it both freezers, to be honest, and clear some things out.  I could do that, if I can get to the drop in freezer.  Always an if.  It's a good day.  The sun is up, it 74 outdoors, 73/74/74 down here, and was 68/71 upstairs.  I closed the upstairs up, mostly, but haven't turned on the ac.  I'll do that around noon.  Trying to skimp on electricity, but not sleep up there in the 80s, which it will reach otherwise.

Another dream, where I got shot a dozen times or more.  This time, again, I didn't die.  But this time I didn't end up in the hospital.  I just... healed, quickly.  Pretty much just shrugged it off.  I guess my subconscious mind wasn't happy with those day dreams, and decided to go another round with the notion?  Had to laugh, when I remembered.  Almost right in the dream, on the side.

I told you, I am usually aware in dreams.  Sometimes, like this time, I didn't realize I was aware until my memory side of things recalled the day dreams, and the differences between this and those.  Odd how that works, sometimes.

Life is smoothing out.  With the bulk of the heat gone, softening into mid 80s, with cooler nights, and not having to rig the house all the time, a smoothness is approaching.  Having, if haltingly, maintained pill medicines... I am in good shape to really dig in before too long.  I've already begun, in small ways.  Now to just keep that going.  It will be hit or miss for a bit.  Still stinging from the summer heat a bit, but... it's coming.

Small lists.  Or I get overwhelmed with just the idea.  Make sure to push through on that list.  If I can't do it all, do some things.  When a little thing gets in the way, do it rather than let it become an obstacle.  Odd how just a little thing, like cleaning off the freezer top, can stimmy plans for a week, if I let it.  Push.  But offer rewards.  If I do something, every day, for three or four days?  Maybe a burger.  But, even then, keep it a keto burger.  Wendy's, and perhaps others, have leaf burgers.  If I go without fries and soda, I suppose two?  I should see what other fast food joints offer keto offerings.  Just... for variety.  Well, and Wendy's is pretty pricey.

Well... on to looking over the web.  Then a bit of gaming.  Then do dishes?  Maybe.  I think so.  And, after dishes, the hatch.  Today.  Yes.  Good morning, day, and whatnot.  Get to it if you can, or just... keep holding on.  If this is as good as it gets?  Enjoy it for that.  Easy to depress into a nosedive.  But that doesn't solve anything or get anything done.  See where you can help... yourself, someone else, or a situation or project going on somewhere.  Local is better, if all else fails.  Or, just watch an old movie, a comedy, old cartoons, or read a bit.  The bible is lonely these days.  Which reminds me...  Yes, I know where my bible is, too.  Later.

Oh... had to laugh.

Never did get going.

.
.
A good day.  Rested.  It was dark, and cooler than usual.  Part of it?  Well, and missing the appointment, in order to do something else, after it had been partly bumped.  Gah!  I try, but...  Oh, but I'll get on to bed a bit earlier tonight.  Or will I?  I'm... starting something, I just realized.

The grill is going.  The chops were thawed, so I want to grill those while fresh.  I'll just grill them all.  And, if the roast is ready, it'll go on too.  But I doubt it.  The chicken isn't thawed either, quite yet.  Chops sound good.  I'll see about doing veggies too, of some sort.

Then, on to bed, I think.  Have a good evening.  Be well.  Goodnight.

Had an appointment.

.
.
Missed it.  Things just don't always work.  Though, I do have a question?  When I have things I need to do?  Three, or four, things a month?  Why do two or three of them all end up stacking on the one time I could have free?  It just happens.  I missed something to keep a promise I had made, sort of generally.

Now, the appointment had been delayed, so that this other thing took priority.  I sort of got stuck keeping a minor promise.  Bleh.  I can hope the other program will work.  Life can be so frustrating.  Still, you do what you must.

I was planning to do a bit of work.  I haven't gotten to it yet.  Went out to work on the hatch, but it started raining.  Then stopped almost immediately?  It... sure... seems like it will rain.  Dark, thunder rolling from time to time?  It did rain, then stopped.  Not much down but it could hit any moment.

I did put meat out the thaw.  And, if possible, will grill that tonight.  Though, most likely, it won't be ready until tomorrow.  Chicken, chops, and roast.  I think I'll salt the chops, and just cook those over time.  A few at a time.  I'd like to do that with the chicken, but it doesn't last well.  Not matter what is done to it.  There is cooking it, and storing it in fat.  But even that is umami to a level that is a rarified acquired taste.  The old ways are good, but can be slightly... severe.  Much like dried fish, anywhere.  Aged, salted, fish in Japan.  So, I just have to cook it, well enough.  Then try to heat the chicken as delicately as possible.  The oven is best, if I am patient enough.  Though, steaming it on top of veggies I am cooking works too.  The microwave, if I am too hungry.  Not the healthiest, I think.  Just look up what happens when you heat fats beyond a certain point.  It's very bad for you, whether that is lard, canola, or coconut oil... high heat makes it dangerous.  Microwaves target fats... and water.

Well... on to something?  Maybe.  Later.

A good sleep.

.
.
I did open it up, upstairs too.  Though between this, that, and other fussing, I didn't crawl into bed until 22:30 and change.  I do have a minor headache this morning, but nothing too troubling.  Woke right at about 07:00.  Got coffee water heating, fed Sassy, and cleaned the pee jug.  It probably could have lasted another night.  I just wasn't awake enough to bother checking.  And, once down here, I just cleaned it.

It is 52 outside, which isn't too unusual.  However, it was 66/67 upstairs, with everything opened, and 67/64 down here.  The front room gets the hottest and coolest.  Whichever way weather is going.  Just yesterday, and some of this week, it was in the lower 70s.  Why such a large jump down?  Did it cool much earlier and much deeper in the time?  Don't know.

I was a bit chilled, this morning.  But even in the low 70s, with a fan going, I can wake just a bit chilly.  Actually, I am surprised I wasn't out and out cold.  I suppose the cooling has been a trend, and even, so it isn't too rough.  Wonderful morning, though, really.  And the sun is up.  I pretty much slowly woke as it started peeping and rising.  Why so late?  Remember, I have a mountain range to my east.  Some of those are 13,000 feet, if too, I live at about 4,500 feet elevation.  Still, it... doesn't rise and shine as early out here as it does out on the plains.

Clean, rested, awake, cool, life is good.  I'll look around the web for a bit.  Then game just a bit.  Then get back to things.  It's... a good day.  Here.  I hope you find a way to enjoy your day.  Or really don't?  If you are going have a bad day, though, have a super bad day.  Don't... tinker with the little stuff.  Go big or go home, or go big home?  Later.

I did get the shower taken.

.
.
Brushed the teeth, washed a pair of socks.  As with underwear, I am seeing if some socks can be washed, and could dry overnight, or nearly.  For simple wear, I can wear socks several days in a row.  So, if the pair I am trying will dry in a day, or even two, I may purchase more.  These socks are good, in the heat.  Wool are better in the winter, cold... and wet.  Experiments.  Anyway.  being showered is always good.

It's rather late.  I just couldn't get to things as quickly as hoped.  But I did get to them.  I won't reset the dishes.  I'll do that in the morning.  Or, afternoon.  After I clear and clean the freezer top, and counters.  Bleh.  But that is the plan.  Yes, afternoon.  I have something in the morning, I do believe.

I've opened things up, down here.  I'll probably open things upstairs, too.  I just love fresh air.  Anyway.  It's time.  I just have to let my hair dry a bit before going on to bed.  Hmm, or I could wrap it up, a bit, and wear a hat.  It keeps it from becoming a bird's nest.  Yea.  Goodnight.

I did get the dishes done.

.
.
So, a shower before long.  And those back in.  Brush my teeth.  I'll leave the whiskers, just... because... for a while.  Not long enough to shape, the whiskers, but may clear the neck, even it up.  That only takes a few seconds.

The rest won't happen until tomorrow.  My visitor was in a hurry.  And had his gal waiting, to boot.  All good.  I did mention the problem.  He isn't sure, will have to look.  I wasn't asking for an answer, just letting him know what the problem is.  It should be an easy fix, I just... am not sure what the... it isn't as simple as it seems.

I can... force things.  But, as recently, with an iron, with a pull out handle?  I can break things when I push and pull.  If I don't know, I... try to be careful.  Yea.

Still, not a terrible day.  Some work in the morning.  Some in the early afternoon.  A bit in the evening.  With games and blogging filling in, but without being the whole of my day.  Still a bit warm.  But truly not hot.  I even got my trash barrel back in.  I do my best.  Goodnight.

Up a bit later than planned.

.
.
Things to do.  Maybe a visitor?  Never can be sure.

I did get some things worked out.  No fuss, just... an item I needed.

I haven't gotten to dishes.  But may, before I go to bed.  I really need to do them, so that I can shower, then go on to bed.  Not big things, but things.  Trying to arrange things for more work this week.  Not a lot.  But... yea, I think I am back to it.  I do enjoy working, when I can.

Last I checked, it was down to 83.  Not great, but not bad.  Outside.  In this front room it is about 80.  And 76 in the main.  Cooler upstairs, of course,  Probably 68/70.  Oh, but the outside has dropped to 78.  When it starts tilting, it really slides quickly, lately.  Just at 19:40.

Getting sleepy.  And, yet, I think I will do a bit more work.  Just that bit.  And, I might sort out the impact tool, while at things yet tonight.  With some help, if help arrives.  We'll see.  Later, or goodnight.  I certainly hope you had a good day.  Whether you got to much?  Some days, with people my age and plus, not much can be done.  All good.

A few things.

.
.
After gaming and looking, I got outside.  Something I didn't realize, with the impact tool, was that it needed a connection, for the air hose.  I guess I thought they just came with one.  But... which size?  Crap.  I looked at amazon.  I am sure I found some that should fit.  Put them in the cart, if I was more thinking about going to home depot if... needed.

Now, when I bought the compressor, I purchased hose and a fittings kit.  But... I really didn't know what all the pieces and parts were for.  Only that, the kit I got was pretty typical of the kits offered, having pretty much everything, all the others had, just not as many.  I would have to look.

Yep.  There was something that looked to fit.  I had to break into my wrenches, they were all still locked in.  Just by the hair... as they say.  The 3/4 wrench did it, the largest I have.  So... finally... fitted.  But, I am going to have to get an extension cord, to the correct plug, and get the compressor aired up.  But... not now.

I then got on the mower and cleared the weeds from the driveway, mostly.  Then moved the sprinkler from the back yard, getting the garden hose out of the way more than, anything else really.  Then got to it.  Very good.  Done.  I then though to work on the front yard.  But... no.  At the very least, I would need to move several hoses and sprinklers.  Though most likely, I will need to pick up sticks.  A lot of sticks.

It is 86 out there, which was fine, for mild work, for me.  But too, I sort of hit my limit.  But I did get out and do something!  And, I will be doing more, soon.  Perhaps picking up sticks this evening?  Maybe getting an extension cord out there this afternoon?  For now, though, I am done with the outdoors.  And, will take a break.

Then?  Then dishes, and maybe a shower before resetting them.  They should be clean, this run.  So, after the shower, I could set them to a rinse.  I need to hit the freezer top and counters next.  Before I can finish up the dishes, I will have no choice.  Might get all done today yet.  That is the goal.  Not much else is planned, but some things happen, while I am doing other things, just because.

I might be back to work!  Though, at 86, just at 13:16?  It's... going to get hot out there, hotter.  I would be surprised if it doesn't hit the low to mid 90s.  So I won't be racing through things.  Just... a bit here, a bit there, staying cool.  Cool enough.  All good though.  I love it when I begin doing.  Never can get it all done.  Always more, too much really.  But... am I working to live or living to work?  More the latter.  I will never get it all done.  Even when I can focus, and act, there is too much too do.  The real goal, at this point in my life, is to finish something I start.  Not worry about much else until that is done.

Though some goals are simply too big for me.  I can't... keep the whole house up to snuff.  I can't can't even keep a single room up to grade.  But, maybe, I can do a chore... say mowing the back yard.  Watering the lawn when needed.  Or even some projects, such as sewing a tshirt.  Oh, right... the Xterra, the hatch bars.  With the weeds mostly gone, I should be able to rope the hatch up and do the switch.  It is a minor little project.  And it is still cool enough.  I may just get out and get that done... or... after my break, first thing.  Then in to dishes.

Hungry.  If I am a good boy, I may go in and get a naked burger from Wendy's.  A double.  And fries.  It's a stretch, but I have been eating more in the... six hundred calorie days lately.  Not losing any weight, not gaining muscle, just... am.  So, I don't mind having a meal out from time to time, especially when I go easy, mostly.

Yea.  A good start.  I am enjoying it.  Later.

One more look around the net.

.
.
An earlier look around.  Then some gaming.  Sassy got treats, and some attention, but no food.  She will beg a nickel off a bum, when she has dollars.  So I can't feed her just when she wants.  I feed her two cans a day, have to spread it out.  Two 3 ounce cans, mind you.  So not really big cans.  And she has dry food at her disposal, while I am awake.  When I go to bed, I close access to that.  She doesn't eat much hard food, and needs to drink more water when she does.  Well, and the rare mouse she finds, but those are more toy treats.  She only ever eats half, from what I have seen.  Still, I appreciate your efforts.

Work?  Right.  I think I'll hit dishes, then reset them.  If I can, then bag the trash cans.  Hoping to hit the counters, and collect dishes yet remaining, perhaps take a small portion of trash out.  Then, weeding, if I can get the trimmer going.  Or, maybe just mow them if not?  Yep.  One way or the other.  Might mow the lawn, while at it.

The micro impact wrench is supposed to be delivered today, as well as a 3/8ths metric socket set.  Just a standard, craftsman metric impact, but shiny, not black as they usually are.  I can't wait to try it, see how well it works.  I may, in time, get a more powerful one.  The same company make a, for it's capacity, mini which can put out 1600 torque.  It's bigger, but still more like a compact sledge hammer.  Mostly if I find this struggling with some things.  Or the 3/8ths being too limited as to socket sizes.  But, for the most part, this should do... 90% of what I might want?  85%?  To be hones, a skinny cordless would probably be more wanted, and used, as a next power tool.  Every other, or third, month I'll be considering another tool.  The requirement, though, is that I use them.  If I don't use them, I won't continue to buy them.

Yea... just a peep or three around the web, then on to chores.  A beginning.  It is hitting 79, at around 11:00.  So, it will warm.  Into the mid 80s most likely, though maybe a bit higher.  With the house cool, I can chill from time to time.  Or go up and catch some ac, if really needed, or a nap even, in the ac.  Trying to make it to 17:00 to 19:00.  Then get on to bed, and up earlier tomorrow?  We'll see.

Good morning, day, or whatever.  Later.

A long sleep.

.
.
It was between 19:45 and 20:00 when I went to bed, I think.  Getting out yesterday pretty much beat me up.  The two beers with supper, and supper, combined to make me quite weary as well.  Well, and being out in the heat, rather than in the cool at home.  It all added up to an exhaustive day.  A good one, but I was ready for bed.

I would have been to bed earlier, but I... lost track.  Just sat here, doing something... nothing.  Casting about, trying to remember what to do, when it finally hit that bed would be good.  I just woke at about 06:30.  A very long sleep.

It is 50 out there.  And the sun hasn't peaked through, though I suspect there must be clouds in the way.  That is rather chilly.  It is 65 in this front room, with the door open, and is 71 in the main room.  I didn't open up the upstairs last night, just left the ac on.  It was 68 and 70 up there.  I don't fully understand the house, even now.  But I have a better idea of how to work things.

I was wrong about the sun.  It just hadn't peaked.  It just peaked while I was writing.  So... it is up, and only a few sketches of clouds in the sky, from what I have a clear view to note.  Wispy little things the sun will eat more likely than not.  Or they'll just... go away.

Today?  I'd like to hit the dishes, and get a shower in again.  Work on the weeds, put on the hatch bars, redo the counters and do the other counters.  It's time to begin working again.  Not sure how much I can do, but am feeling better.  It is slowly but surely cooling, and I am able to be more comfortable, most of the time.  So... back to work.  As is possible.

First, a bit of waking.  Looking around online.  Then some gaming, to try to get the brain... focused.  Then to work.  Later.

Bikes, some number of them.

.
.
Too early.  Right prices.  I've texted a few folks, just with questions.  A four year old bike with 52 miles on it?  That... doesn't sound good.  Unless they were driving 13 miles a year, throughout the year, the bike could have warped.  And... that seems wrong.  Still, I just asked about that.  When looking for things, be prepared to get downright nosy.  You can't guess, on these things.

Oh, I won't be buying soon, unless a super buy came along.  I want to gear up first, so I will be ready to ride when it happens.  And, that will take... four to six months?  Then, getting licensed.  I could practice, a bit, very locally.  But even that is a pushing things a bit.  I will want money to buy crash guards first.  To protect the engine, panels, the tank, and such.  So... it adds up.  It will take some time.

But, for now, I can dig through their beans... the dealership workers.  I can buy bits at a time, including tools.  This, that, the other thing.  And, I can ask questions, online.  Bargains, deals, negotiating, pushing, pulling.  It's... a rat race.  You have to fight for what is right, and what you want, and the price of it.  No one else will.  Everyone else is trying to take their bacon, and yours too.

Exhausted.  I'm thinking it is bedtime.  It was down to 70 by the time I got home, but hasn't dropped much since, or sure doesn't feel like it.  Oh well.  Bedtime.  See you in the morrow.

Out and about.

.
.
A beginning.  Looking for a motorcycle.  Tried on a few helmets too.  A 2xl seems the size.  Though I would like to find a 3xl.  No used.  And nothing new in the size I would want.  Oh, I did find an Africa Twin, but it was probably the automatic, which I don't want... going by the price.  And, it... was probably a bit more of a bike than I could do from the start.  Though if I found one, at the right price and such?  I'd... figure it out.  But, brand new, and automatic, no.

After looking, I went for dinner.  A steak.  Haven't had one in a very long time.  And, tried something new... deep fried pickles.  Back, long ago, in Iowa, at the state fair, I saw them.  But I had spent my allotment, it was the end of the day, so it never happened.  Too bad, they are rather... interesting.

What, it turns, out, both shops suggested I look online.  And, there are bikes in the price range I am considering.  Though, really, I may go in and check with my bank... about a preapproval.  See how much I can get.  Further, negotiate.  Though, really, I would like to have some time.  To save, for a part down payment, part loan.  Just... thinking.

So, I will begin looking.  Not only that, but a lot of bikes are popping.  Which... usually... means a buyers market.  Unless they are being taken off the page as quickly, it does indicate a buyers market.  I would... love to get into a bike, before it gets too cold.  But, I don't have gear.  And, yet, I want gear.  Even if skeletonized body armor, for summer, fall and spring too.  And a helmet.  Helmets alone start at $200.  The armor and boots, so upper body, legs, and boots can all cost in the $200 range, or much more.

Anyway... If nothing else, I got out of the house, got a tasty bite, learned a few things, and am satisfied.  Plus, spoke with my mother and brother today.  My brother flew out to see my mom, on her birthday.  What a thing.  I thanked him, I did.  Quite a top job.  Life is good.  Anyway... later, or goodnight.

As to the vaxxes?

.
.
Sometimes he gets it, or most of it.  Sometimes... wrong.  This time, he got most of it.  Not all of it, if that wasn't really his points, either.  He was just saying.

(click to go to the article)

What he missed?  It wasn't just about information, assessments, and such.  There was also the willingness to go against most people, every agency, institution, organization, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.  I read the cards, placed my bet, and that was it.  Nothing on earth, in the skies, in the nethers, or in the ethers, could make me budge.  And, if they had tried, they would have died, or killed.  While not alone, I am rather... rare.

Of course, my doubts aren't about whether I was right or wrong.  No doubts on that.  The question, that I might have?  Do I want to live with only a tenth of the population remaining alive?  Well, do I, punk?  Hell yea.  *grins*  More f'ing elbow room, and they will have done it to themselves.  Meh.  Don't... even think I am kidding.  Check...  No... checkmate.

If it kills them all?  There are some I would dearly miss.  I already miss a lot of people.  While I have died many times, I have lost more than I have remaining, by far.  My people.  People I chose as mine.  Some just went out of my life, for their or my, or nobody's, reasons.  But, many are gone out of the world.  And, there are more who I would miss.  But, I will live until I don't.  That's a God level thing, so be it.  But I will live, happily, comfortably as possible, even if in great pain often.  Meh.  So be it indeed.

Oh, got to the city office, paid a larger portion of my bill, and found a place to pay online.  I'll... get that set up this coming month.  It will be nice to have this on autopay.  So I don't forget.  Or have to find my checks, but not be able to, then go down for the deeper summer or winter seasons, whilst in arears.  I do my best.  All good.  I... feel better, when bills are taken care of, or being tended.  I do what I can.

Have a great morning, day, and on to afternoon.  I... have things to do.  And... may get to some, more, of them.  Amen.

Well, another thing.

.
.
I'm going on to game for a bit.  Thought I would put this up, first.

Mechanics? Entertainment? More?

.
.
Plotting, again, against mice.  To be honest, I really would like to keep some, for Sassy.  I wonder, could trapped mice be enough food for Sassy?  She loves to hunt, but is that all she needs for food?  Especially if, once caught, they are fed and watered, well, allowed to groom, but not stressed too much by overpopulation?  I ought to check into that.  Though, I am quite sure, there are many cats which live on mice alone?  Or... do they eat other things?  I just don't know if that is enough, and the right, food for them?

Hey! Part of it.

.
.
While I didn't do the dishes, I did drain and move them.  After getting the trash out.  I thought I only had one bag.  I was wrong.  There... were two bags already out?  One big one?  Anyway.  With the one I had to put out, more volume than substance, and, yet, between what was in there and what I put in, the barrel was topping to three quarters full.  So out it went.

Then, a shower.  No trim, no shave.  I look shaggy, but I smell clean enough for even a picky woman, probably.  For an old dog.  Then I made it to the post office, and got a card and the final, I think, part of the table topping layers... a heat resistant batting.  Though... I may want a better cotton topping.  I have a muslin, that will work.  But I am thinking of a crisp cotton, like a poplin?  Some such, to make a drum-top tight final layer... like on really good ironing boards.

While I consider things, for myself and my home, I don't want super masculine things, I don't need that.  But, I really never did like prissy stuff.  How about... handsome... as a target.  Oh, there are handsome women.  Not quite pretty, but... fashionable, elegant, well tended, good just not pretty, or cute, or sexy features.  But, for the most part, handsome is in the mens' department.  Though, stretching from there into grunge, industrial, and such, isn't too far a stretch.  Not handsome, maybe, but... more masculine.  That... is what I am looking at, for kit I make for the house.

Even mother isn't... too prissy.  She does like pretty, even sexy if that... no.  Not FROM me.  But I can try pretty, maybe even just a bit of frill.  She has always been a girly girl, in the right way of that.  She likes being pretty, feminine, if not overboard.  It's always a balancing act, man or woman.  And... you can't really win.  It's a biological gimmick that is all about, initially, attracting a mate, then keeping that mate.  But, failing that, it's still about being social enough to not be outright rejected, and, yet, being individual.  The perfect female, oddly, is a medical issue with some males.  If appearances were the facts.  Oddly, the reverse isn't true.  Scrambled women never make handsome men.  Still, for most, there are just portions and parts, we have to seam together, to make sense to ourselves and those we would have an interest in.  Dames are the only ones I can imagine.  Thankfully, they see... what they want, and need, to see when looking at me.  Little else matters to a woman, just ask her.  If her eyes are satisfied... though they not be purely looking at the physical, they see with... various sorts of eyes... then they will go with it, if... I would go after one.  Just the facts.  Just haven't found a single woman, who is... right, and ready.  Not lately.  Then again, I haven't been out.  Bleh.

Anywhile!  I did get some things done, and plan to do a bit more.  Life isn't all bad.  It is 57 out there, last I looked, and sunny.  A wonderful day, to be absolutely honest.  Sleep was good, coffee and else was okay, more breakfast would be nice, like eggs and corned beef hash.  Or... I don't know.  I'll wait to ten to get going again.  Not that I need rest, but timing issues are what they are.  Later.

Awake and well.

.
.
Comfortable, smooth, clear.  In the low 70s or high 60s everywhere inside, 54 out there.  Slept very well, awoke easily.  If work doesn't happen quite today, it will soon.  I am just about recovered from the higher summer heat, as things smooth to lower temps.  If it gets back to the 90s, that might trip things up.  But, for now, things are smoothing with temps in the mid 80s, as highs.

Teeth brushed.  Pee jug washed out.  Keeping up on that is tiring.  But, if I could keep up on medicine, I wouldn't need as much upkeep.  And, that takes things being heat depressed makes difficult.  If I can get on, and keep on, medicine, I only fill a jug about once every five to even seven days.  Just having gotten back on medicines, after various meanderings, on and off, I filled that jug in two nights.  Ugh.  Still, I am, much more closely, keeping water off than I had been most of the summer.  The heat was driving me to drink, and causing me to forget medicine.

I am trying to read through some of my overlocker manual.  I have lessons coming up.  I'd like to get a rough overview of the manual, what's in it very roughly, and look over parts of the machine.  I won't learn it, or all it can do, in a few days.  So I'm not trying to do that.  Just... get a feel for how instructions are outlined, details about the machine such as where the main adjustments are, and what they do.

As to what happens, when you try to do a four thread overlock, with the wrong settings?  That will just take time to sort.  Are the settings, or ranges, required?  Or will the system create excess, or two tight, of stitches?  That will take time to sort out on the... 96 or so stitch types this machine can do.  And, I... won't memorize those.  My goal is to try each stitch typ, over time.

The thing with the stitch types, is that they are for specific materials.  Or, at least, certain fabrics work best with certain stitches.  I have two, maybe considered three, main fabrics, currently, and one lining fabric.  The shop only seems to carry cotton, quilting, fabric.  And some batting.  So, for me to find other fabrics, it looks like JoAnn's and, perhaps, another few local shops?  I don't know.  Will look, in time.

Yes, most of the fabric I have purchased has been from Amazon.  Until I become more able to get out, that is what I am left with.  As things cool, getting out is more likely.  Getting to town, even now, will probably be in the 90s.  In the mid 80s out here, it is still hot in town.  Hotter.  Cities are miserably hot places.  Even smaller ones.  Then again, I've spent what I had on equipment, notions, and such, for now.  It'll be a bit before I tear into various fabrics.

Well... on to waking, and then dishes.  I am almost certain to hit dishes this morning.  And before long.  Oh, and maybe trash out before I get too comfortable.  Then the web, maybe some gaming, then work.  I think gaming is helping me... push out.  I bought two arcade games, but also a Doom game.  I can't find the disk for that, so just bought it on the machine.  It was inexpensive enough, and on sale.  Now it is just on the machine, or a simple download if I take it off for any reason.  Barring a major electrical storm that wipes the world, or some such, it's good.  Then again, at that point, the whole program changes and I have more serious worries.

Good morning, day, and whatever else you may be facing.  Later.

Yea? No.

.
.
Just can't get to things.  I feel good.  It was only in the mid 80s out there, last I checked... 85 or so.  The sun is up, out.  It really is a nice day.  Just... not today.

I am feeling better.  Not too cold, not too hot.  I have played some of the games.  I am not sure if the controls aren't well done in the ps4 version of the games.  But, to be honest, I think they were pretty bad on the arcade games too.  It was part of the schtick... like carnival games.  You don't get a fair contest.  Still, I am improving.  Not... as quickly as I would like.  But, unlike when I was younger, I simply can't play for hours on end.

It's something, to do... when I'm not looking at tools, or systems, repairs, upgrades, ideas, regarding everything from auto and motorcycle mechanics to sewing, gaming, and other hobbies, projects, and such.  It gives me something to... dream about if nothing else.  Though I am... beginning... to finish a few loops and get to where I can start doing things.

It is getting warmer in here, up to 79 near the computer, if the mid 70s elsewhere.  Yes, I shut the upstairs down, and put the ac and other fans on before it got too warm.  I think it had gotten to 72, in the middle of the room.  But that is not too much trouble.  I love having fresh air filter through.  It makes life a lot better.

I am hungry, I just don't have... much.  I have canned food.  I suppose I could hit that.  A stew, with added veggies.  Nothing fancy, but it would do well enough.  Maybe some canned fruit.  Not fancy, but it might work.  Do I have a clean small pot though?  Bleh.  I'll look.  Later.

Nice!

.
.
Still a bit cool, 54 at around 07:50?  But, the sun is out, coming up.  Green, outside, too.  From my lawn to the field next door.  Wonderful.  Love it when it does green up.  I haven't had to water for weeks.  Enough rain, from time to time.  I have only watered for about two weeks this summer.  So, as for drought?  I'm... not... so sure.

Feeling pretty good.  Thinking about hitting dishes, showering, then getting dressed to go out and do a bit outside.  First, cutting some weeds.  If the trimmer will run.  Then, perhaps, getting the hatch rods changed.  That will be it for today, if I can do that, assuming I can get dishes and a shower resolved first.

I opened the front door, it was getting just a bit stuffy.  turned on some fans, to move air.  The upstairs is open, with the alternative fans running.  Fresh air, love it.  And, upstairs and down are all open and from one to the other.  It allows a lot more airflow.  While still cool, I am enjoying it.

I did find the thread.  I had in mind the cone shape that the thread is, in basic form.  But, they were in boxes.  I had forgotten that.  Overlooked them a dozen times, possibly even moving them out of the way, without realizing it was what I was looking for.  All good.  Actually, I have black and cream, not white.  Cream fits more things.  Still, will need white before long, probably blue (for at least one of my quilts), though grey and a few other colors are okay.  The thing, with a serger anyway, is that only one thread will possibly be seen.  So, I really don't need a lot of various colors, just one larger cone.  To that end, I am now considering buying a large color collection, of singles, and finding less expensive, longer length, bulk threads... while it doesn't matter what color, a few basics might still be best, like grey, white, black, blue, cream, and maybe red?  Even those may be mixed, just... because.  But those will be by price and reasonable quality.  As well, I'll want to craft an open display, for those.  Pegboard, perhaps?

All theory, until it is done.  Even then, that is all just to make function more doable.  But... you still have to use what you just developed.  To be honest, it isn't that much work, but it does take a bit.

Various responses.

Well, it's how I take them.  Without receiving new vids, at y.t., because my social credit score is abysmal, then to see these pop?  Yep.  Not sure how it works.  Some of these are from similar singers, or movies/shows.  But some of them are... very... off-topic, in one sense.  Yet... at least to me... make perfect sense.  It's... the little things.

What they all mean, I won't try to explain.  Either it makes sense, to you, or it doesn't.  Entertaining, either way, I should suspect.  Yea.

Very good.

Awake, at 03:38.  One of my favorite numbers.  Now to sort out the world.

It was 68/70 upstairs, is 74/74/74 down here, and 52 outside.  The hygrometer outside reads 100% humidity.  Indoors it is ready 56%.  I am sure it isn't that humid.  Then again, maybe... being monsoon season.  If so, or even if not that high but higher, humidity, at altitude, just feels much different.  Sometimes it can be a bit stuff, but usually, when it warms while humid, the humidity is evaporated quickly.  We can have cool and moist/humid, but not hot and humid... or very rarely.

While sleeping, I kept thinking about the things I plan to do.  There are some tasks with the Xterra, beyond the hatch bar replacements.  Oil change... including oil filter, air filter change, cabin air filter, and checking brakes, and fluids.  And, in time, either way, changing radiator fluid, perhaps some of the others.  How deep do I want to go?  Not... too deep.

And, while doing things, I would like to look around.  See where the starter is, the alternator, and some other items which can fail.  Learn how those are changed, and decide if I could do those types of jobs.  Probably not, but maybe.

As well, sewing will be going forward before long.  I have one last piece for the top of my double work tables, and I need to clear space for those and get them up and arranged.  As well, I may consider what type of pvc... and size... to use for leg extensions, if needed.  Then obtain those, get them cut and capped, and on.  I will either need one for every leg.  But if the legs, where they seam, are too close together, I may just get one larger pvc piece for those side-by-side legs.

Then, to figure out patterns!  Sheesh, those things are worse than electrical diagrams, or engineering diagrams!  Not written by women, or for women, or for anyone but some union employee who writes adult things, in children's terms, and without definitions to be honest.  Some of it is, or can be, correct, some of it is just bogus.

So, yea, I have been working on things, all night, in my mind.  Figuring out what I can wear, when it gets cooler.  How to get to places in the engine.  How to sort the sewing room better.  Many things.  On the mind.  Doing them, partly, even in my dreams.  And, yet, I realize... I am quite close to death.  Perhaps not as the crow, or time, flies.  But by nearness to physical death.  Work is... more than it seems, to me.

I have things in the house to do, too.  I still have to feed myself.  Things to do.  I don't know.  But, I guess I can plan, hope, work, tinker, and just sit when required.  Though, as it cools, I may have a much better chance to get back to things?  I can sure hope.

I did a bit of sorting, this morning, before coming down.  I put the serger in a case.  Wasn't sure it would fit, as that is for the jenome.  But it seems to fit.  As well, I added a few notions, scissors, and shears to the soft-side carry case, getting ready for my lesson.  I am now looking for the thread cones.  I should have four white and four black, maybe some others?  Polyester.  Quality?  That is always a question.  Until you have tried enough brands, you never do know with any certainty.  And... even a good brand can have a bad batch.  But... I have to find those!  I was sure I had taken them up.  But they aren't anywhere I can find.  Bleh.  I am sure they will have some at the shop.  And, I want to get some if their brands are different than the ones I have.  But, I'm not sure I want to buy more, now.  Ugh.  Always something.

If I can wake well enough, I really want to hit the counters, dishes, get a shower, trim and maybe shave, and perhaps do a load of whites.  Nothing fancy, but something.  As well, find those thread cones, get them packed in, and do more work upstairs.  Feeling pretty good.  A bit sleepy, as I am adjusting to the new schedule.  Hoping things even out, as the world cools, so I can get back to work.

Almost dead, maybe.  But I won't quit.  I may stop, no choice.  But I'll be scheming to get things done right until my last breath.  Even when I can't, I can think about it.  I dream of tearing down an engine, and putting it back together correctly.  I dream about making a few quilts, and getting better with each one, until I can send a few quality products to a few folk.  We'll see.  Later.
