No, I don't need a purse. But? I have been thinking about how to
create stronger than strong cargo pockets, for my cargo pants. I want
them to have layers, depths, and be difficult to pick or even cut into.
I figured I would have to make them separately, then add them. Yes, this
has... been on my mind.
This offers a very good system. I see things I would do
differently. No strap, of course. As well, the sides wouldn't be
rectangles, but inverse triangles. The widest part at the base, so that
the pockets would be self-closing, to a degree. Maybe not a true
triangle, maybe so. Until I begin mockups, I can't be certain how I
would really want them to work. As well, it has double layers.
With this sort of material, I wouldn't have to worry about getting pockets cut
without me knowing. Further, there is the extra, deeper, interior
pocket.
I also considered pants. I wouldn't want to use mine. What about
looking at charity sales places? Probably even that would be too
expensive. To be honest? Buying new, just denim material (or
ripstop, etc), then make the pocket shapes from scratch, would be best.
If I wanted to be extra secure, I could even use kevlar, or kevlar as the
ripstop checking material? Something like that.
Yes, nerdy, to a degree. But when I have an idea, and have had it for a
long time, it.. gets... fairly flushed out. Not sure how my idea will
work with this pattern, but I... saw it before I saw it. I just didn't
have the mechanics down, fully. This gives me a much closer look at my
idea, in practice.
On to gaming, then... something else in a few hours. Later.
