Ah! A bit!

.
.
While going back to hang laundry, I remembered I half the stuff needed to clear the water softener.  Iron-Out, is what the manufacturer, and the y.t. videogropher recommended.  So, that is what I got.  An half gallon or cool water, a cup of the stuff... stirred not shaken, down the saltwell tube it went.  Then I just set a run cycle.  I may need to do it several times.  It has run clean out of salt, several times.  And, I refilled the salt reservoir while at it.  At least I was using, from what I can tell, the best salt for it.

Then, the towels... bath sheets, hand towels, and wash cloths... out to the line.  They took up one whole fifty feet of line.  I had to use three spacers, to keep the towels from sagging to the ground.  But, all good.  Should be done by this afternoon.

While doing that, I used one of the plastic clothes pins to hold the pulley.  In doing so, it got twisted off it's basis.  So... I spent twenty minutes (or so it seemed) and a lot of energy, getting the thing back together.  Now, on the one side, I didn't waste.  I am making great efforts to fix, rather than toss.  As well, though not actually on the other hand, I figured out how to get those back together easier, for next time.  It's... like one of those mechanical puzzles.  Though, once you learn it, it's... not longer a challenge.  Okay, five minutes, but still.  Felt like twenty, and wore me out in some strange way, more than the other efforts?  Sort of.

Finally, I got to the front yard, and pulled the hoses out of the way, so I can mow when I can mow.  But it is open.  But, I didn't just stop there.  I went ahead and picked up sticks.  In the front yard anyway.  I spent as much time and energy to get it minimally cleared, then spent another ten... five... minutes getting any thing else I even thought might be rough to mow.  All of it?  No.  Small twigs remain, but I did what I could.

Very nice.  Very happy.  Not just work, but maintenance.  Now I will get Sasserwhositz a snack, then play games for a bit.  I'll set the alarm for a couple of hours.  Then, hit dishes.  Maybe do some clearing of counters and other surfaces.  Cleaning those if I have the energy, or getting that set up for the next run.  All good.  Today is looking to be a work day.  But, if I can finish the counters, and dishes, and laundry, that will be it for today.

Oh, now to get what is needed to work on the caulking in the bathroom, on the bathtub/shower connection points.  I've just been averting eyes, for far too long.  Time to start... fixing, repairing, doing.  So many little things.  May lead to bigger things.  So much to do!

Tomorrow?  Thawing some more meat, rearranging the freezers a bit, cleaning the bathroom, a shower, and more dishes?  Something like that.  Later.
