Headache.

.
.
The cause could be one of a dozen things.  Fell off medicine, for just a short bit, to include insulin.  Slept on different pillows.  I have been putting in some decent efforts, which can throw the body out.  It was 77 when I woke, so was probably warmer and even that makes for some uncomfortable sleep.  One, some number of those, or all of them combined.  A mild headache though.  I'll... fix what I can, manage what I can't.  I'm not going to take painkillers.  Perhaps if that continues for a week or two.  But I won't let it get in the way, either.

Whatever I said I wouldn't do, or would...  I finished the load of laundry, but didn't take it out.  I did pull the pillows and set them over the washer's lid.  I did reset dishes to a nearly final rinse.  I took a shower.  I did a few more things, litter boxes, meat getting put up, chicken parted then put up, a number of little things.  So many things to do!  That last bit, at the end, was very stop and go.

I looked at the clock, when I went to bed, but was so far past shot that no memory remains.  I think it was... wait... 11:39 or so.  Yes, I think so.  Or... was that... no, I think that was upstairs, as I was laying down.  Only did that once.  Meant to go up several times.  It is 21:33, so... about nine hours down.  Given the heat, probably not a bad go.

Now to get the pillows out, and check what else is out there.  It should be done.  It is 70 out there, but was quite warm indoors.  I think 77 upstairs, and 85/83 in the front room?  Something like that.  But having opened everything up, it is down to 82 just now.  And dropping.  I left the swamp cooler on, with moisturizing on.  Not a great idea.  Still, it made the cool outdoor air feel a hundred times better than usual.

Tonight?  Dishes, and one last load I think.  Counters and stovetop, maybe oven.  Perhaps a quick start on cupboards... washing them down.  A beginning in the bathroom.  And pieces and parts in the livingroom.  Perhaps with another shower, sometime, as well.  This time washing hair.  I only do that every other or every third time or day.  Love those showers.

Well, and food.  But, everything is cooked.  So it's just a matter of warming things up.  And, really, it is already feeling cool enough to enjoy a heated bite or three currently.  Just... hoping the headache backs off a bit, and I need to wake a bit more as well.  To be honest, I think it was the strange pillows.  And, unfortunately, from past experience, even after I get my favored ones back into use, it will... take a week or three to break them back in.  I will most likely be having headaches ever day, then ever few days, for two weeks to a month after.  It's... just the way it goes.

Hmm, fatted coffee would be good.  And some water on the side.  Ugh?  But am I going to stay awake?  Yea, I'll try.  And get to work in an hour or two.  Later.

Fibbed.

.
.
Not on purpose, mind you.  Just that, when I went to go to bed, I thought I'd do one last tiny little thing.  Take the towels and pillowcases out to the line.  Which I did.  Then, since I was there, I put the pillows in.  Fair enough, right.  But, then, a shower really sounded good.  And brushing my teeth, since I was in the loo and at it?  Sure.

Then, I set the dishes up.  Right.  Being right there.  Of course, I also had to put the roast up, and carve the chicken and get that put away.  Really, quite a good little gig.  I would love to get cream, but that is just too far outside of my abilities for me to contemplate.  But... I got everything else.

I am, as well, going to wait for the pillows to finish, then get them out there.  The stuff in the dryer needed another round, so got it.  It is getting rather warm, up to 78 near the machine, and at least 76 through the rest of the house.  Really want to go to bed.  But... just this last thing.  Or... maybe not.

They will at least be washed.  And, I can hang them when I wake.  That will just have to do.  Amazing how fast I crash, at points.  Dishes and laundry will be ready, and ready to cycle, when I wake.  I should be quite ready.  I can't believe how quickly I crash when I sit for a moment.  Goodnight.

I'm thinking not.

.
.
I am hitting a wall.  Tired.  I got plenty done, but I think that is as much as I can do.  No shower, no dishes, no cream, no more laundry.  I'm going to crash, hard.  Am in the process of a hard crash.  Tired beyond my ability to get up and go to sleep, but working toward that.  All reserves are spent, have to rebuild just a bit.

Still?  I'm not unhappy about things.  I did a good job, great job.  Especially as odd as sleep has been, and pushing recently.  I am getting things done.  Doing well.  Enjoying the work.  Just... at some point, I am falling down.  I will enjoy the sleep.  Won't remember it, necessarily.  But that is fine.

I'll take a shower when I get up.  The put dishes in, and laundry out.  I'll see from there.  Goodnight.

Yes?

.
.
The roast and whole chicken are finished.  The roast is being tended, the chicken just allowed to cool.  I just slice off roast as and when wanted, the chicken, though, will be carved and bagged.  I might have a wing?  Maybe.  Or a breast?  Depends on how full I feel after a decent piece of roast.  Sure smells good.

With the dishes drained, I need to get a shower taken.  Then set those up for a final rinse.  Laundry is still going.  Those towels are heavy.  I didn't put the pillows in, will do that after.  It was just too big of a load, with pillows.  But they will be next.  Then, everything out on the line.  I'll bet they will smell sweat tonight.  And, having two clean towels back in the cupboard is good.

It's been a good day.  Just hitting 74 in here, near the computer, 76 outside, or was.  Became distracted.  I decided to close the place up... oh, but best close it up upstairs too.  Bleh.  Upstairs had gotten up to 77.  The rest of the house is 74, this front room is starting to get warmer now... a few degrees at a time.  Well, the ac and fans are on up there, that, hopefully, will work out.

No cream this morning.  But they may have some later.  I'll go in, in a bit?  Meh.  With the grilling done, I'll put the roast up, carve the rest of the chicken... had a breast as it turns out... and get that put away.  Then get a shower, and put the whites out, setting up the pillows to wash.  I'm sure I have some other pillows around, for a temporary use.  Old, but... they... work.  I suppose I could wash the old ones, see if they make it through.  If they don't, just toss them.  If they do, bag them in airtight, vacuum seal, bags and put them up.

Then, put the dishes in for the final rinse, with the hope of air drying, then getting cream, and then finishing dishes and putting the pillows out to dry.  I... might get a goodly lot done today.  I think there is a solid possibility.  Well, and I paid my dairy bill up and in some advance, while at it.  Not a bad evening and morning.  And it isn't even finished.  I really am doing pretty good, if I struggle some days.  Even then I do some work.

A nice little bit more done.

.
.
Upstairs.  There was more left than I thought.  Even so, I got to it and got it done.  Well, all of the floor has been opened enough to vacuum and dust all parts.  Wait... except where some boxes are.  Too many boxes, for now.  Vacuumed, dusted, sorted through.  More to do, but... doing okay.  And, for the night, that part is finished.

It is 55 to 56 out there, with 80% humidity?  Strange, but okay.  Though it will be warming soon enough.  There isn't a bank of clouds to hold it off.  I best watch, to know when to close it all down.  It may well get blazing out there today.

Then on to dishes.  I gave everything a final wash, and it is setting out.  It came clean, easily.  What little was left.  Stacked out, so I can get a shower in a bit.  Then I'll put everything back in for a soak.  I gave the laundry another shot, just... because I didn't think it was dry.  And, I looked out there.  It doesn't look like clouds are going to be a problem, today.  Probably.  Unless they sneak up on me.  So, I went back upstairs, grabbed the pillows, and brought them down, stripped them, and have them and the cases in for a pool dip.  I'll just use the towel still in the bathroom, but bring that out to be washed with the rest of the whites when finished.

Then...  Then?  Then I get to think about if I can do much else.  If I can, I will probably begin in on the boxes in the livingroom.  And objects.  Sorting, storing, tossing, boxing back up or... mostly.  I think I will have to have keeper items set aside, in the main, before I can really begin sorting as well as I would like.  And, after my mind goes numb with that, and if still able, I will get on to finishing the dishes.

Oh, but I have started the grill, and will be roasting a chicken, and pork roast, out there.  Hmm, I'll set up some things for a side, too.  Oh... I may wait until after the grilling to take a shower?  Yea, otherwise I smell all smoky.  I really don't like smelling smoky.  So, yeah.  But, that almost makes sure I will be getting to the other things?  Probably.

The alarm, but only because I forgot to reset it when coming in.  I've got twenty minutes to tinker, rest, break, before getting the meats out and going.  Still, that alarm is annoying!  Best get to it.  Later.

Moving right along.

.
.
Laundry is reset.  The clothes weren't dry, so I gave them another spin.  And, while I haven't started whites, I have put what was in there in, in preparation for doing them.  I have another towel in the bathroom, and will be putting pillows in.  If it isn't going to rain today.

Then on to dishes.  I washed the load.  It's a bigger load, but went fairly smoothly.  Still a bit gunky, so all has been put in for one more soak.  But it is actually cleaning up better than I had anticipated.  I think one more shot, and I can then rinse, dry, and set them out.  I'll try to get the dishes which have been set out to dry put up in there, hopefully well before drying this next set.

Not a break.  It was a good run.  After the break, I'll head upstairs.  See about getting the last of the floor open and cleared, vacuumed, and powdered.  Then, if So, I will vacuum that all back up on Tuesday.  On the good side, it is cool enough tonight, and was cool enough today, so that I can get fresh air up there.  Deep winters and deep summers make it so airing the place out isn't all that possible, usually.  When I get a chance, I take it.  Fresh air is your friend, my friend.

I am pretty sure I can get the upstairs opened, vacuumed, and dusted.  Beyond that?  I don't know.  I honestly hope I have more time to get down, and work on the boxes and items collected in the living room.  Then hit dishes again.  Bringing down pillows and taking the white towels from the bathroom as well, into the laundry room.  I won't start on that until I am more sure about what tomorrow looks like.  I have two more sun-dried big towels, clean and folded.  So I don't need them, or even want them, the white towels, washed and ready unless they can go out on the line.  And those will last two, even three showers each if I have to push.  Heck, one can last a week of showers if I really must.

Oh, but after washing dishes again, while they are set aside, I will probably get a shower in, again.  I sure like those.  Especially with sunshine dried towels.  As well, sometime in there, I may grill the package of chops, and the pork roast.  And have a small pan of mixed veggies, for a side.  Maybe with some cheddar.

I found a video I thought was... interesting.  I watched it but... to a degree?  Was unimpressed.  Why?  I drive a big honking suv.  Maybe not as big as a big truck, but not a tiny delicate thing.  And, yet, I drive just as cautiously as he is suggesting to drive on a bike.  About seventy percent of drivers are basically aware and knowledgeable about driving etiquette, laws, and conditions.  Basically.  The other thirty percent are unable, unwilling, to abide driving rightly, or actively against those things.

Not bad.

.
.
Dishes were dried and set out.  A new batch put in.  This batch is pretty nasty.  But, so be it.  It will take a couple of washes, at least.  I'll hit it in an hour or two.  That's not everything, but it is close.  Just a few skillets, and maybe a few other odds and ends after.  Going fast.  There really wasn't all that much to finish, but I just couldn't get to it, until now.  Wanted too, couldn't.

Plus, I checked the clothes in the dryer.  Good, dry, pulled those and put what was having trouble draining, spinning dry, after a full regular load.  The spin and rinse didn't work, either.  Rinse and spin, actually.  A regular wash cycle did spin it dry, this time.  I won't do whites until later, if it looks like it won't rain?  Or, if I think I can get it to dry before it rains.  I'll check closer to sunup.

It is 60, outside, if humidity was 75%?  Something like that.  In here, near the machine, it is 75 with a 53% humidity.  The rest of the house is 74, upstairs is 73/74.  Not bad.  I have a fan in front, and the swamp cooler fans, minus the humidity inducing portion, going.  A good night to work.  Cool enough without quite being cold.  And, if it drops to the 40s, and really chills things off, I'll put on heavy pj bottoms and a long sleeve t.

Next, actually, is a short break.  In an hour I would like to begin upstairs.  Finish the floor.  I know, I keep saying that.  But tonight it looks like it will be hit.  Work up there until it is done.  Then take an half hour to hour break, and get back to the dishes, check the laundry, another break, and then to the living room... tossing, sorting, storing.

It's not the fastest effort I have ever done, but it is rather steady.  Even on my down days, I get something done.  If I can hit all of those, today, I may use a bag of ready-crete, or such, wet it, and attempt a patch in the driveway tomorrow.  Whether in the morning, or later, depends on how much I get done, how fast, and how much energy I have.  Will have to put the vehicle out in the sun for a few days, so I won't have to drive through the cement while it is wet.

Other than that, it will begin with giving the upstairs three days, for the powder to do it's work, then vacuum that all up.  Then begin sorting boxes, mostly for tossing.  But, in the interim, clearing the final bits and parts from this front room, so I can bring those boxes down and have them ready to toss.  I will be filling this room, again, with things ready to go.  For, eventually, one more dumpster rental session... perhaps month?  But only when I have a near full thing, order it to be delivered two days before dumping day, fill it up, and have it ready for further fills.  Actually, having two loads would be best.  And, have help on the way to begin sorting even that week, so more is being brought to the toss room.

No, it really is getting done.  Slowly.  There have been stoppages.  But, when I go, I go pretty well, for weeks at a time.  Probably no more than twenty, maybe thirty, hours of work a week.  In small groups, of fifteen minutes to two hours at a time, as is possible.  Lots of breaks, required, trust me.  Not even an option thing.  But, very very good.  I wish I could hit four to six hours at a time, or eight to twelve even.  Those are my goals.  I just haven't been able to get even close to those, regularly, yet.  Two hours is about my record.  And... really, it is a record.  Especially several times a week, several weeks in a row.  I am not completely burning out and fading away.

Well, there it is.  Now for my half to two hour break.  Give or take.  Later.

When?

.
.
I can't be sure when I went to bed.  I got the dishes washed, and reset.  The freezertop cleared and washed.  One laundry through to the dryer and another load in.  But couldn't finish the dishes.  Or work on items, boxes, in the living room.  I did close the place up, fed Sassy a last time, cleared her litter, and got water set up and run, which means I probably need to refill the reservoir next time I am out that way.  But when I went to bed?  Ten, a bit, or a lot after?  Hmm.  Actually past noon, nearly to one... I remember being awake then, I think?  I was crashing, but resisting the crash, so who knows.  No, I think I saw it past 13:00, but upstairs, as I was going in.  Though 13:01 or 13:48?  I couldn't say.

Warm, up there, when I woke.  It is 77 up near the bed, 75 in the main, 77 downstairs in the main, and 79 in the front room, it was 81 near the machine.  It is 66 outdoors, so I opened everything up, upstairs and down.  Giving the ac a break, if nothing else.  The fans are on, including the fan on the ac unit.  The door to the downstairs is open.  And there are breaths of wind, not quite gusts, curling through the cave.  Being that it is just 22:50, there is a reasonable change the cave will cool down well before the night is through.

I hit the litter box again.  When I keep up on it, there is only, usually, one number one and two in there, if I do morning and night and check when I'm going by.  She is a much happier girl, when that is managed better.  And the place does smell smarter.  I have two tins out.  If I am awake a longer shot, she will get them all, if just a regular day, a can and an half.  If I am only up eight hours, she gets one tin.  I have been closing off the dry food, at "night" (when I am sleeping) to give her timeouts from eating.  She isn't losing weight, or much.  She, like me, has become slightly trimmer, a bit tighter, but still a bit plump.  Hey, it's all we actually own, at this point.

I brushed my teeth first thing.  If as I was doing that, I will resetting the dishes to a, hopefully, final rinse.  Around midnight thirty, I'll get in to get those drained, then dried, setting them out to air dry, then putting another load in.  The goal, at this point, is to get most dishes, pots, and pans, cleaned and keep them unused.  I need to get the grilltop going.  Between that and the charcoal grill, cooking most foods that way.  There will still be utensils, large and small, and this and that... a few small pots for cooking veggies.

But, really, now is the time to cook out, mostly.  And not have much to wash.  While going through what I am keeping and what I am tossing.  Some of the pots and pans can be put into recycling.  Though, anything I find with teflon or else non-stick, if I still have that, will be ruined before being tossed.  It is, at this time, toxic.  And, yet, people don't care and would use it.  Even when obviously scratched, people will use that.  I don't want to encourage them to pull from the garbage and use.  And, yes, they... will do so.  But, if it's a stainless, but of lower quality, and worn and dirty, I'll leave it whole.  If someone wanted that, they could have it.  The way things are going, kids won't be going to school, they will, like some children in many foreign countries, be digging through the trash for metals and meals.  Joe did that!

Yeah, dishes.  Oh, and I checked the laundry.  For some reason, the laundry in the washer was still wet?  I tried the rinse and spin cycle.  Not sure that is doing what I thought it would do.  May just have to run the load through on a normal full wash again.  I have to wonder if electricity went out while I was sleeping?  Anyway, I'll check on laundry when I go to do dishes.  Or, actually, I'll just go in and reset it to run a regular load, if it isn't doing right.  I am drying what was in the dryer, again, on low.  See if that gets it any drier.  Wasn't very dry, I'll say that.  Thought it would be, but... nope.  I'll do whites, in the morning, if it isn't raining.  Then that will be that for a bit, regarding laundry.  Just more dishes to do, and sorting of boxes and things, plus work upstairs.

Then... the kitchen, bedroom, and on.  Not as good as things had been going, but not bad.  With it cooling nicely tonight, I sure hope to get a good load of various parts of those efforts in.  I'll definitely keep at it, pushing when possible, resting when required.  Yea, I can see the work paying off.  Just right here, near me... first the empty boxes were broken down, and that opened much of the room.  Then boxes of baubles have been taken to the other room, in groups, and managed.  I have removed half of what was left in here.  The the half that remains, of clutter, is functional items, like the swamp cooler and the paper shredder, a second desk, and another office chair, and old, mostly dead, computer I will want to disassemble to some degree, then toss.  And of the boxes that remain, many or dvd's, blurays, and games.  Not as much to go through left as before, though some.

Hmm... a fatted coffee, as I check on the laundry.  Then, maybe a show, or to look for one.  Often I won't find one.  I haven't played a console game in... a very long while.  They just don't make them like they used to make them.  All woke, broken, and dull on top of it.  Who would have known that wouldn't sell.  Ha!  Besides every gamer out there.  They can't complete, and put out, a functioning game, at this point, because if they did, and people saw to the end, they would tell everyone else that it's just another work propaganda piece.  Most of us realize that is all they put out, at this point, so don't even look at what is coming out next.  The young tools still do, but... that'll... fix itself.  Did with us, just much quicker.

Looks like parents are booting junior to the harsh world.  Or junior is finding the cleverness of the feminine.  It's a sucker bet, but that is life.  You can't win, but you don't have to lose.  Even if you, when... really, you lose... here or there?  Well, if you have chosen the right path, it... just doesn't matter.  Be true to God, the rest will tend itself.  Not that you shouldn't attempt to lend a hand, just... your hand isn't the final one.  And this isn't the final place.  You can hope for justice, but you can't have it as a certainty.  And, as a fact, expect to be spat upon wrongly, and by those who shouldn't.  If, too, turning the other cheek has limits.  It's not for lethal affairs.

Anyway... on to checking the laundry, getting water reservoir filled, and... fatted coffee plus maybe some sardines?  Maybe.

Washed them.

.
.
Reset them, checked laundry.  Made a meal.  But crashing.  No way I can get them worked up, dried, and set to air out.  I'll have to do that when I wake.  Brutally tired.  Crashing so hard it almost hurts.  Goodnight.

Wow.

.
.
At 12:43, it is still 72 out there?  Overcast as well.  No rain.  But, just being overcast is odd.

Dishes were washed, and reset.  Laundry was turned over, a medium-small load of coloreds put in.  Yeah, not bad.  A break, then I am hoping to finish the dishes, and set up another load.

The meat hasn't thawed yet.  I keep checking the faster defrosting stuff.  Want to put it in the fridge as soon as it is ready.  Hmm?  Might make brats for lunch?  With beans?  Maybe... or chili, and cheese.  That's doable.  Maybe.  Starting to get very tired.  If it were as hot as it should be, I would have shut down hours ago.

Then again, I am getting things done.  So, it's not a terrible thing.  And I really want to get these dishes out and up, and another going.  But they need to rinse for a bit.  Then again, I could push them through.  But, I am hungry.  Hmm, let me check to see if they are even fully thawed though...

Yep.  So... I'll go ahead with the brats.  The grill is going.  I had a can of baked beans up here, so I'll use that.  Should work out well enough.  Nothing else is quite thawed, so... oh well.  Then again, I didn't even want to be cooking this.  Still, it'll be tasty.  And I'll have real food before bedtime.

Well?

.
.
The dishes had become a bit... crusty.  Water softener salt?  Maybe.  Still, I got a shower in, then reset the tub to a soapy soak.  I am so tired, but I want to finish the dishes, rinse them, dry them by towel, then set them out to air dry.  I just do.  Oh, and I'll probably get the laundry over to the dryer, and set another load in.

It has remained overcast.  I have mostly closed the house, save one west window.  With a fan going it is keeping it to 79 so far.  Will it rain?  It sure might.  But today, tomorrow, this week?  Or... of course... maybe not.  So early for the monsoon, and actually a return of it.  An unusual year, to say the least.  A good one, if cool is more your thing.  Then again, I've never met anyone who likes it 90 or hotter?  Not for the most part.  Some older people seem to like it much warmer, but they, too, are often less active, less able to be active, and with poorer circulation.  Then again, I have poor circulation.  Terrible.  But only in my legs.  Hmm...  That might be it.

Anyway, it's time to hit the dishes, reset laundry, then take a break until it's time to mostly finish the dishes.

I did get one bill paid.  Tried to get another paid, but the manager... or the one who is in the know... was out.  So, I'll check back Monday.  At least I tried, and they know, and it will happen.  Money, money, money, I'm telling you.  Oh, I also looked up a few sewing patterns.  I have always wanted to try shirts, and vests.  Didn't realize sewing ties was a thing.  Though I am particular about ties.  Not sure if I could find the materials I like.  But... will try.  The great thing is, even if I can only find normal silks, plains, I could make ties that actually fit.  Even talls ties are often wonky.  Too short, too fat, too thin, some have even been, to my mind, too long?  Weird.

And, I'd like to make button-downs, but short sleeves for starters.  Campy shirts?  Something like that.  I have never found ones that fit quite right.  If there is room in the chest, the rest is a tent, if it fits the torso, the chest is restricted.  Sometimes the arms holes are too small, sometimes they are huge!  I just want to craft a template, get that perfected, then make a few, from seersucker? plaids?  Things like that, but light, summer, materials.  I'm not sure what they are all called, or if those names are proper materials or just designs.  Bleh.  Live and learn.

Hmm?  Oh, right.  I'll get to dishes, then laundry, a break, finish dishes, then on to bed.  Later, or maybe goodnight.

Overcast.

.
.
Very unusual.  It has become totally overcast.  It must have come down from the north?  I can't be certain.  There is almost no air movement, from breezes to gusts.  Maybe a little air is just... moving?  Slightly.  There is that feel, but not indications of it.  So, if so, it is just a general mass air displacement.  Couldn't call it a wind, or even breeze.

It is 72 out there, 74 in the main of the house, and 76 up here in front.  It is 65% humidity outdoors, 49% indoors.  Very unusual.  Rain, I'm just...  While I can't believe it, I can't believe otherwise?  Soon or late, more soon than late if I had to say.  Even, as suggested, if I can't believe it.  It sure is threatening.  Promising?  Promising.

I should get to dishes before long.  Yes, I put laundry in.  Not sure if I want to put it out to dry though.  So, may just stick it in the dryer, on fluff.  Then give it a finish on low.  Not sure I'll do more laundry.  If I have enough colors, I will.  But the whites I will wait upon, until I am sure I can put it out to dry.  I don't trust today.

A few calls, and bills managed, today?  I best, before going on to bed.  I want to get the dishes rinsed, dried, and put up.  Well, they are in a rinse, so dried, and put out to air dry.  That is what I meant.  Then get a shower.  Then make some calls?  Yes, that sounds about right.  And, if I can do more, I will probably get up and finish the upstairs.  I'll work on the boxes this evening, when I wake, or when I am next able to work.

Dishes, though, and laundry, I'll do ongoing, feel like it or not.  But the boxes, and items, sorting those, I really need  to have my mind in the game.  Not perfect, but... not bad.  Better than I have been doing, and continuing, pieces at a time.  Well, on to dishes, then a shower.  A break, and then back on upstairs.

I have been looking at motorcycles.  Oh, sure, a 115 cc bike could haul me around.  But I would look silly, for one thing.  But the size and balance would always be a bit out of trim.  I'd have to be doing extra work just to ride.  Then again, a 1600 cc would be trouble right now.  Too much bike, too fast.  I am more thinking along the lines of an adventure bike, in the mid range.  Though, maybe, another type if the price and all else was just right.  Even a cruiser, or sportster, or even a touring if those are usually exorbitant.  I'd really have to know why they were selling such a bike for such a low price.

Now, I'm not sure how to transport the bike, until I get a license.  How to get training.  That is a bit of a trick.  But, I am certain, people do it every day, or... pretty much.  Actually, with the population of the world, they probably do it by the thousands, around the world, every day, hundreds of thousands?  Maybe, or something more in that range.  Later.

Dishes started.

.

Plus, a few boxes brought out from this front room, into the living room, to be sorted.  And, about six boxes taken from the spare bedroom into the living room, with the same plans.  It is down to 74 near the machine, and 62 outside.  The sun is up, just not out.  But it will be coming out before long, and then heating up.

There are heavy rain type clouds to the east and west, enough to block the sun to this point, and for a bit more.  But the sky between is wide open.  It could end up raining, hereabouts, soon.  Or not.  It just depends on whether the clouds can hold, whether more moisture arrives, if there might be some cold from the north to bump into it, or enough moisture from the south.  Unlikely.  But, then, clouds are unlikely currently.  But... there they are.

Breakfast is being made.  I haven't eaten a chia breakfast in a long time.  Or, mostly, any breakfast.  And, really, rarely have I eaten lunch, dinner, or more than an occasional snack.  Not losing weight, not changing in size, just... staying as I am.  But, no matter, it is time to get back to things, as and if possible.

I am just waiting for breakfast to soak up the water, then I'll heat it and eat it.  Using room temp water, instead of hot water, to soak it.  I finally realized, this spring, that chia "blossoms" much better with room temp or even cool water than it does with hot water.  So strange, but okay.

After breakfast, I'll give it about another half hour to hour, then hit the dishes, take a shower, set up another load of dishes.  And, maybe, in there, start a load of laundry.  Or, really, probably after I finish this post.  Nothing fancy.  It won't be much.  I don't have enough for larger loads.  But... I'll... get to it, what I have to do.

I am loving that I am able to start.  Maybe not much, or fast, but a start.  And, I think I'll get to some or all of those boxes after dishes and a break, and the laundry right away, and... breakfast before too long.  I have managed Sassy's litter again, already.  If I happen to be out there, and notice, I'll fix it.  Otherwise I forget, for too long.  Later.

Finally, a start.

.
.
Down to 75 at 46% humidity, right here near the computer, 73 in the main or less, 63 outside with 65%, 61%, humidity, or such.  A few higher or lower, just can't remember.

Trash got gathered and taken out, after clearing and cleaning the freezertop, and putting rice in for a five day freeze.  I cleared some of the counters, which is part of why trash was taken.  The canister rebagged.  I'll set dishes up after this, and maybe begin just a bit more clearing of the counters.  Not quite ready to really tear into those, but... I'll do what I can, for a starter, as dishes rinse a final time.

I am hoping to get laundry going.  I'd like to get one to three loads done and what will go, out on the lines, through the cooler part of today, and with what will fit, and dry, through the day.  The last load will be whites.  I like to do my bleaching as a final load, so that any residue will be inert by the time I do another load.

Oh, while in the freezer, I pulled meat.  I have four or five packs out for the week.  Two are rather small, two larger, and one is a whole chicken.  I plan to split that, when thawed, and grill it open.  A way to dine well without heating the house.  I haven't been all that hungry, right until I become famished.  Yeah.

I am looking over atv's, and motorcycles again.  I doubt if I would get an atv.  If I were to want a second vehicle, it would be a midweight bike, in the 500 to 900cc range, give or take.  An easy bike, not a dragster, Harley, Goldwing, more of a midsize adventure bike, or dual dirt sport.  Though, to be honest, I'm... not even sure about that.  Just a thought.  Probably used, at that, if so.

It would depend on, of course, sale of the place.  But, too, whether I stay in-country more than a bit.  There is a good chance I will store a few things, toss much, get a passport, and go.  If I can't immediately get to where I want to go, I could probably get to somewhere passible until I can get further.  The trick, to my mind, would be to go where I could get in... but along the path to where I am more thinking of going.  Though, too, there are two countries on my mind.  One is open, the other is conditionally open... dependent on a pcr (?) test result.  In spite of everyone knowing those are notoriously awful at indicating illness, of any kind.  However, one of the countries is very far away, and finding safe travel, for an unvaxxed, might be tricky.  The other country, I could get a few countries away, without vax or test.  And just wait for it to open.  Or, if that just isn't happening, move on, in a checkerboard fashion, toward the other goal.

I really don't think a new or newer truck, and building out a rig, would be wise.  Even if they don't crack down on roamers (which I think they will be), between truck and rig, it would cost $100k for a project that would become, pretty much, worthless in ten years.  And, while boondocking sounds like free living, the reality is far from it.  Finding a place to boondock, food, fuel, repairs, and else?  Plus, not sure how much you could practically boondock (wild camping)?  Maybe a third to half the time?  Even at two thirds of the time, that would leave ten days of paid camping, which would be, what, $50 a night?  So $500?  And, really, I have heard many who try to boondock often, still set aside $900 a month for paid billets.  Well more than my current rent.  Because sometimes the wild just isn't open.  It's... not free, easy, or cheap.  Oh, and you have to schedule rentals weeks or months in advance.  Perhaps a year in some spots?

It just isn't what some think.  And, a lot of those people end up homeless, living out of dead rv's, on the east coast, or major city in any of a number of states.  Can't afford a place anymore, can't afford repairs, can't afford much.  Just living out of a trashed hauler, rv, camper, or such, in some horrible city.  Until someone chases them out and takes it over, or kills them and takes it over.  Lots of people are going to find themselves... in hell.  No way out.  Well, and it could well get worse for one of a thousand reasons.

Oh, but don't let them frighten you.  I am not afraid.  I am simply looking at what is happening, what is going to happen, and deciding where I want to be when whatever happens does happen.  I'm not really welcome here, not a part of things.  The boomers and millennials own it.  They are running things.  Running them into the ground, but with the absolute cocksure confidence of Charles Manson.  I don't really want to be a part of it.  And I'm not welcome, with my bigoted, racist, views.  Wait until they realize the rest of the world is far more worldly than they ever imagined, and is... on my side.  In this one case.  We know.  We know.  We know what they are going to find out when they have completely run out of denial, or any capacity for it, and begin murdering those little lambs they hold so dear.  Or... thought they did.  It was always one way.  As numbers changed, and the masks come off, they will realize why they used to do what they did.  And return to it.  And, yes, I will just as likely be on the list, as much for knowing it in advance, as for being a non-white.  *grins*

Partly cloudy out there.  Mostly to the east and west.  Fairly moist this morning... feels tacky, especially for as cool as it is.  Oh... best get dishes soaking, then maybe start a load of laundry.  Ah, and I found an extra number of hundreds of dollars.  I'll... get some things done today.  A few calls, a few bills.  All good.  Ugh.

Though, buying a bike, if I am going to be around for a bit longer, might not be bad.  To learn in America, where there is room to turn around, would be far better than trying to learn in a vastly more crowed tiny little foreign country, where driving is a new thing, terribly emotional, and very fast for the crowds and road conditions.  I would like to think they aren't as much drinkers or stoners as Americans, but honestly?  From Russia to Vietnam to Brazil, my guess is there are vastly more drunk and stoned drivers than America ever saw at her worst.  So... if things came through, I might well get a motorcycle right away, and begin hitting it immediately.

Later.

68...

.
.
Last I looked, outside.  Not all that cool.  Indoors, up here in front, it is only down to 78.  Actually, anywhere in the house is 77, save maybe upstairs?  Ugh.  I just checked, 68 outdoors.  It just isn't cooling off.  Though there is a decent wind going, with a breeze and wind, interspersed with minor gusts.  So, that makes it feel cooler.  But, really, it just isn't cool.

There is a reasonable chance it will cool enough for me to get to some work.  I keep trying.  I am just beyond my capacity, from even the mid 70s and of course on up.  I overheat just thinking about working.  I am taking care of Sassy, making sure she has food, clearing her litter, giving her attention.  Even for her, until it gets to the low 70s, being around me makes her too hot.  The fan(s) would help, but the sound is just too much... well, and the blowing.  I get that.  I'm a cat people.  I don't hold that against her.

Oh, I received a call.  One of the potential buyers.  Suggesting they may be able to go there.  The one I dropped the big number on?  Makes me nervous.  Then again, probably not.  But, who knows.  That, now, talking with them, or this or that... gives me a bit of an upset stomach.  I should know more within the month.

Though, regardless if I am staying or going... I want to get the house cleared.  A lot more things to go away.  Boxes of notes, many books, clothes I haven't worn in forever, if ever?  Objects, parts, pieces, for the house, vehicles... one no longer owned, furniture I won't get taking... so many things to go away.  Though, mostly, I need to sort what I do want to take.

I really do think a travel trailer will be bought.  Though, initially, just for putting stuff in.  I would like to develop the inside for hauling including tracking for tiedowns and some fixed tiedowns for very specific zoning of areas, insulate very powerfully, run basic electrical with easy access runs, add in a brown water and fresh water tank, and a few other things.  As well, I hope to be able to get upgraded tires and extra clearance from the start, maybe a more powerful fan at the start, and some better things.  Adding them later is often much more expensive, time-consuming, and possibly of lower function and quality.

I am even thinking of considering a new vehicle... F-250, Ram 2500, that sort... to make sure it can haul the thing, with water, batteries, and such.  Plus, as a toy hauler, maybe a motorcycle, or an atv, for alternative motation, or a way to town if something goes wrong.  Spooky.  That's a lot of work, a lot of money, a lot of time, and else.  Still, maybe.  Though, with some care, the Xterra might be able to run a smaller rig, especially just used as a belongings carrier alone, for a while.  Right now, bigger trucks are costing nosebleed fortunes.  There are used, but those are pretty nasty too.  I'd wait for prices to lower, in either of those markets.  It's... coming.  Layoffs, even at tech.  But everywhere.  And no more stimmy money for those big or pricey items.  I suppose they could try to dump repos in the ocean, to try to keep prices ups, but that eventually won't work... one way or the other.

Just thinking, while I wait for the world to cool.  The freezer top is the priority, leading to dishes.  And several loads of dishes are next on the list.  Then counters in the kitchen.  Later.

Pretty warm.

.
.
Summer is finally hitting it's normal stride.  To be fair...  Wait!?!  Something seems strange.  It is reading 84 to 87 in this front room, 80 in the rest of the house?  It was 77/76 upstairs.  So, yes, it was hot.  But... let me check outdoors.  Something seems... different?  Then again, it may just be a hot wind, and maybe the sun is just... let me check.

Wow.  It is 76, and falling out there!  The wind is a rather cool wind.  And it is overcast?  In July?  I'll take it.  Don't know if it will actually rain, but it sure feels like it could.  Sort of amazing.  I hurried and opened everything up, including the front door.  A degree drop in a minute, though I think it will drop much faster, shortly.  The curtain between the front and back of the house is often going out as much as thirty to forty degrees, as air billows through.  Cool air.

I can hope I can cool enough to get to some work yet this evening, but not promises.  The heat has been kicking my legs out from under me.  Staying awake, for long, sleeping much, having a regular day, all gone.  As mentioned, even upstairs is hot.  Hmm... I may shut the ac off, and open a few windows... see if that might help?  Maybe not.  If it gets much cooler, into the mid 50s or cooler, I will.  As is, even with wind and such, with the roof collecting heat, it just won't get cool up there, at this temp.  It would be up to 80 or 90 in no time.  Even with 'passive' solar, from a cloudy sky.  The sun is becoming stronger, again, finally, sort of.  It is merely that a weather front is moving in, or through.  As mentioned, this usually doesn't happen until mid-August.  So...  But I will gladly take it.  Some rain wouldn't be bad, either.  Unpossible!  But there it is.

It'll be a bit until I can get to anything worklike.  So, for now, I will just sit, enjoy the heavy breeze to wind to occasional gust, cool as is possible, and look over the internet.  Good day.

I never did get to work.

.
.
While it did hit 62, by an hour or two later, it is up to 80 already?  I just never got cooled down.  For that, I never quite woke up.  I'm... just going to go on up and sleep.  I have tended Sassy.  It got cool enough that she came up and visited me a few times.  I enjoy her company, and miss it when it is too hot.  So, there was that.

Oh... I think it's time for bed.  I have a few more things coming in this week, and soon.  Will see how they do with shipping this time.  Not holding my breath.

Yes, 80, at 10:00, 62 as the low for the night, and just right at the end.  Took all night to almost get partly cool.  Though, really, for June, that's... mildly typical.  It really hasn't hit the potential for brutality, by far.  Although it might be getting there.

I had thought to make some calls, but I am failing far too fast.  Goodnight, or what of it I can do.  Have a great day.

Meh. Now?

.
.
It is 76 throughout the house.  It did, finally, get down to 62 outside, about 64% humidity.  But... it... just isn't cooling off in here.

Still, I'll... get to the freezertop, dishes, and probably laundry.  Get a shower in.  Make a call or two this morning.  And... well... do what else I can.  But I think I can do that.  Maybe make something to eat.  Then go on to bed... when I can... or must.

All but one more thing from amazon is due in.  Though, one thing was canceled, so I have reordered it, and a few other things.  Will see if they do any better.  But, did it almost on impulse.  Oh well.  Will see if they can deliver somewhat on time, now.  Now that they seem to have found my place again.  Or... one of the drivers.  Bleh.

Later.

Interesting.

.
.
Now, this guy is rigging these systems in a van.  Not... where I'd be doing it.  I'd have a lot more room to work.  That is, in a, say, 7' x 16' to 20' toy hauler or cargo trailer.  Still, if he can jam these things in a van, a trailer would be easy.  Mountings to hoses, wires, and else, would be terribly easy.  As well, I could get most of this up in the front, leaving the back end for hauling things, or for a minor vehicle or two... think bike and atv.  Yes, this... could work.  And, it is more recent.  With more modern tech.

Not very pleasnt.

.
.
It only got to 72, last I saw.  Outside.  Indoors, it is 80 near the machine, 77 in the rest of the house.  If it doesn't cool down outside, it just stays hot in here.  Even at 60, outdoors, it will only get down to the mid 70s... about 73 to 76.  That's as good as it gets.  I doubt if even the upstairs is all that cool.  In the mid to low 70s.  And... those temps mean I don't feel good, and can't do as much.

I have been tripping all over myself lately.  Becoming exhausted at the least amount of work.  And just not recovering even when I can sleep.  Well, and not being able to sleep sometimes.  This is deep summer.  To be expected.  I guess, as good as I had gotten with regard to heat tolerance, I had some hope that I'd be able to push a little further, despite the heat.  But... nope.  It is just too much.

I kept hoping it would cool, or I would feel better.  But it looks like, if I want to get anything done, I will have to push through now.  It won't get cooler.  It simply isn't going to work.  I will have to do things, or just go on to bed, and hope tomorrow is cooler.  But... it won't be.  It won't begin to get cooler until August, and if at all mostly typical, not until mid-August.  Perhaps as late as early to mid-September, as it sometimes does that, too.

Yea, I'll get to clearing the freezer.  Oh, and putting the rice I recently purchased in the freezer.  Leave it for five days, and that takes care of the bug eggs they put in to try to make you have to buy more if you aren't careful.  For them, it's all about the money.  If the fda will allow them to put some percent of non-rice, or instant potato, or such?  They will make sure it is bug eggs, bugs that will live on that stuff.  It isn't an accident, or incident.  Weaponized.  All of them.

Hmm... perhaps a bottle of perrier, before I start.  Just something, something.  It's been a while.  Then get on to the freezertop, resetting dishes, and a cursory beginning to the counters in there.  Later.

Wednesday, July 13, 2022

Yes, well, it's getting hotter.

.
.
Then again, it is midafternoon, when I awoke.  Nearly 19:00, not quite.  It was 77 near me, 75 further into the room, if fans and ac made it seem a bit cooler.  Still, it's... warm.  Outdoors, when I looked, was 88 or 90?  With 34% humidity.  It was 88 in the front room.  Strangely, it is cooling in here?  Very strange.  But it seems rather warm.  It is 77 in the rest of the house, pretty much everywhere.

Though, that was an hour and change ago.  In this front room, it is down to 85?  Weird.  I should check around again.  It feels hot in here, but that is a three degree drop, and with me in here and the machines and a lamp on.  Very strange.  Okay... Still 77 in the main, 84 out here by the other meter, 76 outside, at about 37% humidity.  And, it feels much cooler than even that, outside.  I've opened up the house, and... yes!  Much better.  There is good airflow, outside, as well.  The fan can help, but not do much on it's own.  Like paddling with one small emergency paddle.  But, with it and the air movement, it is like one main rower, with two good paddles, and a second rower with that little one, for steerage and an occasional extra boost.  Oh, that's... delicious!  It'll still take a while to cool off.

I get the sense that rain could be showing before long.  Are we already back into a second monsoon season?  Usually that doesn't start until August, but I'm pretty sure that is what this is.  Usually doesn't start until sometimes early, more often late, August.  Though, the first week or three can be dry as a desert bone.  Then again, it might just crash and boom right out of the box.  The world is... changing.  Oh, hush about that stupid.  You aren't right, the people you read aren't right, everything you think you know is wrong.  Here's your ticket.

I had wondered if it was a weather war.  To be honest, though, now I believe the same people who are drying up the SouthWest in America... are the same people flooding China.  More, I do believe politicians, on both sides, are all for it.  You don't have friends, only enemies, at the elite levels, at this point.  Heck, they will kill themselves and their own to get more of you to follow suit.  They... don't... care?  They are completely owned.  And they hate you.

Still, we will see what we see.  I think they slip, lose control.  That is an ongoing effort.  There are many, but numbers don't mean anything.  God's will is what is important.  And, I would advise, faith can move mountains.  And else.  If it be in God's will, so be it, however it goes.  I, personally, don't think this is the time, for more than a major change in leadership... the one thing they are all trying to avoid.  It won't effect most people, negatively.  Actually, it would improve a lot of things, if done the right way.  Nothing is perfect here, but having leaders who understand they are servants, not masters, is the better way.

If I can cool off, wake up, I'll get going.  Again, to the freezertop, dishes, and laundry.  Then to more boxes into and sorted through, in the living room.  A few more from in this room, and the spare bedroom, plus what is in there already.  That is one of the more frustrating types of effort for me.  Then, upstairs.  To clear, vacuum, and powder the rest of the room.  Then let that set for... until Saturday?  Friday?  Something.  Then vacuum the powder.  Oh, I just powdered the stairs.  I'm not going to vacuum those twice.  Just once, at the end.

If I can get the things packed, stowed, tossed, as indicated, I'll get the keeper boxes into the master bedroom, take down the spare bedroom and get those stacked neatly, then hit floors.  Vacuuming them, then powdering them as I did upstairs.  Maybe spraying for bugs.  If I can get the floor opened up and things stored well, I may put Sassy up for a few days, and spray for bugs around the place.  Using one thing for the trim, and another stuff for the carpets, beside the powder.  I am so tired of boxelder bugs!  And, even spiders have become a bit much.  Mostly down here, but...  Yes, I would like to get some things done.

Oh, and I'll try to push, after dishes, to the counters, oven, stovetop, and cupboards.  Work, work, work.  I have about two and a half weeks.  Ah, I got the call, from the inspector.  I told him I'd be ready around August 1st.  Thankfully he wasn't in my driveway, waiting.  Though, most likely, they have looked the place over.  Google or whatever else.  Plus, just maybe, a drive-by, and probably a peek-in if they went to the trouble.  Yeah, I get it.  I might well do it, if actually interested.

Other than the kitchen, the place isn't bad.  Just... bachelor busy.  A guy just can't keep up!  No guy, or straight guy, or... yea.  Can't.  Keep.  Up.  I had hoped to have a wife by now.  Just isn't going to work out.  I can't, as mentioned, afford an American woman, not in America.  I am not interested in a second paycheck, even if she spent it replacing the homework I would wish of her.  Women, in America, have choices.  Marriage doesn't seem to be one of them.  So be it.

Hmm?  already down to 83, here at the the machine.  Needs to cool a good deal more though.  I'll tinker on the web, look over vids, kick around a bit, hoping to cool enough to get to things again.  Later.

Difficult day.

.
.
I was not able to get to work.  I did make coffee, had a bite to eat, got Sassy more food, cleaned her litter, but that was just it.  I have hit some sort of roadblock.  I am exhausted beyond my ability to negotiate.  It feels hot in here, I feel hot.  It only ever got down to 62 as a low, at about 64% humidity, outdoors.  Last I looked, it was at 70, with 68% humidity?  Strange, but okay.  It is much warmer now.

It is 78 in here.  Not sure if I closed everything up.  I'll go check.  Then go on to bed.

It looks like there are actually four packages arriving today.  The practice material, the actual material, a pair of shoes, and water.  I broke down and decided to order a bit more perrier.  Not in the volume I have been.  Only drinking a bottle every few days, to once or twice a week.  It's good for me, just... it's expense has gotten out of hand.  A rare treat only.

Well... after checking windows and such are shut, I'll head on back to bed.  I have been heading there for an hour or two, I just... didn't get there, yet.  It's time.  I kept hoping I would break out of the crushing exhaustion, but that won't happen.  I'll say some prayers for you.  I have what I need and want.  The rest I leave to God's hands.  Come, go, live, die... so be it.  Goodnight.

Up?

.
.
I'm pretty sure I am awake for a while.  It's still pretty warm down here.  Ah, that's why.  It's just down to 68 outside, with 58 percent humidity.  Indoors, it is 73/75 upstairs, but feels cooler, 75 in the main, 77 in this front room with 38 percent humidity.  I did leave the swamp cooler going.  Wanted to see if that would help.  And, that, I think, depends on the temp outdoors.  If it gets cooler, it could.  Strangely.  But if it only gets to 68, as tonight, so far, it's... not very pleasant.  The fan, alone, is best.  Though, perhaps, it is best even then.

After I wake, a bit more, after a coffee, maybe a bite, I'll get to clearing off the freezertop, cleaning it, and reset dishes.  And, maybe, start a load of laundry.  If I can get three small loads, I will.  Getting what I can to the clothes line.  I got some help, when the young men were over to do the rabbits, to get the clothes line tightened.  I would like to, perhaps tomorrow, get my bedding down, again, and airing and sunning.  Then, in a few days or weeks, try to get help tightening the ling again.  Eventually the line will stay taught, no matter what I do.  It is, actually, rather amazing cordage... the stuff they make for clothes lines.  I thought it would rot, out, in one winter.  Not even close.  Then I suspected it would snap, after my first or second tightening, but certainly this one.  Nope.  So... we'll... see just how well it works.  Though, next year, I'll bring it in, I think.

Sassy has been fed, her water is good.  I best check her litter box.  Right after I get my coffee brewed and stewed (adding cool water and some whole cream).  Then, come, sit, and maybe eat something while I wake and ponder the silly world.

It looks like the three items which were listed as being delivered tomorrow are listed as out for delivery today.  And I did get some things yesterday.  So... maybe they found my house again?  Dunno, will find out.  Best... get to... litter and coffee and breakfast.

Have not been able to get up, going.

.
.
I did get some work earlier, there is that.  I got up a few times to use the restroom, feed Sassy, and some other very little things.  Couldn't get going.  I am probably just going on up to sleep for a while longer.  I can't get going.  Failing.  Falling.  Tired.  Sleepy.

Ah, the things that were supposed to still be arriving today have all been relisted as late (or again).  Shoes were supposed to be here yesterday.  I can't remember the other items, but I think they have all been in for days.  Though hadn't been listed as out for delivery, or supposed to arrive, notices until today, save the shoes.  Those were supposed to be here yesterday.

Not sure what is happening.  But it's not good.  Not sure if this is an amazon or ups problem, or a bit of both.  After this, I think I'll have to close my amazon account.  If I need, or want, something, I'll just have to figure out a day and time to go out, somewhere.  It's taking too long, they simply aren't delivering items, they seem to be reselling the items before they reach me, it's a mess.  At this point, I am dealing with walmart, essentially.  And I won't do anything with them, save point of purchase, buy and walk.  I've tried their online system, and between all the ordering problems, and glitches, there is the poor sending process.  They never got to two days, or a good enough price, when the basket wouldn't fail to empty half way through a shopping spree.

I'll check Costco, or that other one.  We have one locally.  I think they will give me a day pass, to look through the store.  If they have smaller multipacks of veggies, soups that aren't too terrible regarding carbs, and such, I may start an account with them.  I know, I could be leaving.  But until that is more certain, I will be stacking away a few more foods in bulk.  Not as fast as I have been.  But, just... a few more areas could be covered.  The doorstep was handy, but it's broken.  So...  Thanks, while it lasted.  But I'm done with amazon.  Fortunately or not.  Then again, I think every shop is in trouble.  Big, small, local, regional, national.  It's all going down, ugly, mean, and dirty.

Later, or actually, goodnight.

I should get on back to work.

.
.
I have enjoyed a bit of relaxation.  It's fairly warm up here, to me, oddly, for whatever reason today.  It's 85, with 38 percent humidity... a bit elevated because I have the swamp cooler going.  And the regular fan.  Still, all good.

I don't know that I will work on the dishes.  Depends on how warm I feel the back area to be.  If it is cool enough, I will just get to it.  If I feel a bit pinched, I'm not going to push it.  I'm looking for volume, not depth, of effort.  I can get one, or the other, but not both.  Not today.

If it is too warm, or if I warm up too much while working out there, I will finish to a reasonable point, then go on up.  I am hoping to at least get the freezertop cleared and cleaned and the dishes reset.  Then I'll set an alarm of some sort upstairs, for an hour.  Going on up to finish the floor, and clear the other table a bit more.  One is set up for the new sewing machine, sewing kit of all sorts, and an ironing wool mat.  The other one I'd like to clear to get the cutting mat a station.  I don't have to clear the whole table, but I need half of it or so.  I am also looking at adding a smaller, or another larger, table, or two... for working with materials.  The main thing is the floor, the sewing stuff is partly on hold, but I wouldn't mind spending a bit of time setting that portion up.  Plus, it will be clearing and cleaning a bit.  So it's not just a single duty event.

Hmm... if I can get to the dishes being reset, I would then start a load of laundry.  Not sure what... I have two big white towels which would do, and some other whites to put in with it.  I think I have enough synthetics.  And, probably, enough colored cotton, cotton/poly.  To be honest, even after years of trying to study, I still... have no idea what I am doing in the laundry room.  Every woman I have know has thought me just jerking with them, but I really just don't know, can't figure it out from what I have read and seen.  I just... do my best and that is that.  As well, I am terrible at getting stains out.  I... have quit.  Though some of my shirts are very old.  There comes a time when stains no longer come out of some things.  Age sucks for everyone and everything.  Only God has that good.

Well... on to it then.

Awake, again.

.
.
A call.  She wanted to speak with Elizabeth.  Wrong number, I apologized.  A drone.  You can tell when it is a human and it is human acting as a bot.  Unpaid student loan?  Left, or even right, as if there is a difference these days, political pollster, or beggar, or influencer.  When the target isn't available, they go from smiley, sunny, to bot.  Drop all pretense and become cold blooded reptilian.  They don't even pretend, and hang up as if tossing a dirty rag.  You know that is how they feel about not just you, but whoever they were calling, most of their friends, and even themselves.

I was awake anyway.  Just... sorting out how, or why, to get up?  No, I... know why.  How, though?  No, when?  Yes, when to get up.  I wasn't feeling quite up to it, but sleep was no longer available.  So... up it was, right then.  I came downstairs, to sit the machine.  But it was a bit fierce.  For whatever reason, the normal temperature for down here feels ugly hot.

What to do?  Ah!  Upstairs.  Cleaning.  Where it is cooler.  So.  Upstairs.  Cleaning.  I got bits and pieces picked up, and about two thirds of the free floor open, then vacuumed, then powdered... with baking soda and diatomaceous earth.  That'll stay down for a few days.  And I'll try to get the rest of the floor cleared, vacuumed, and powdered, even yet today.  I just... wanted... to start.  To say I did something.  And, to have actually done something.  Done?  Started.  Well started.

But, that... was what I could do, cool or no.  So, down to the machine.  I'll take a break, then begin in on the kitchen.  The freezertop needs to be cleared, washed, and let dry.  Then I will start in on dishes.  What is rinsing will be drained and reset.  Then I'll start a load of laundry?  Sure.  Taking a break after that.  Then, back and forth, on dishes and laundry.  Perhaps hitting the counters, and cupboard doors?  Maybe.  Then, back, forth, break, and on.  Until I... either finish for the day, or get up and clear the floor and finish vacuuming and powdering.

Tomorrow?  Continue until dishes are done, laundry is done, the first vacuuming and powdering is done, and the counters and cupboard doors are washed.  I may begin getting rid of plates, and cups, and such.  Keep some?  I do have some of those pseudo disposable, lightweight, walmart specials, that won't likely break.  I could keep those and the bowls from the set.  Only four.  And silverware, flatware that is.  I'll keep that.  But much else will just go.

Pie plates, huge mixing bowls, I may keep one or two casserole rectangles.  But much else will go.  I'll look through my pans.  Probably keep most, for now.  But some of the ugly, cheap even if stainless, will just go.  Same with utensils.  Rollers I have never used, electric to manual devices, just... toss it.  Taking it to charity places seems the thing, but they are drowning in junk.  Junk people don't want, or even know how to use these days.  How many women even use a sifter.  How many young women even know what it is?

Out with the old, I guess.  The new is nothing.  Making do.  If my hands and simple tools can't do it, then I won't do it.  I am planning on looking for a way out and a way on down the road.  A simpler life, here or there.  The idea of car and trailer roading is interesting.  But, as a solo gig, it is a bit much.  More so with fuel either too expensive to afford, the world coming down on "bums", good one or not, or even the end to the availability of fuel.  That... just... this might not be the time for that.  No, if I go, I think I'll head overseas almost immediately.  I don't even think I will be able to find a way to see my mother.  With gas, lodging, and an... only partially welcoming visit?  I... it might be best to just go.

I am alone.  I get that.  Everyone, however, is alone.  No matter what you think.  You... are alone.  Someone may help you, but it isn't... as it seems.  Even if you offer help for free, that doesn't work in this world.  You will either be taken advantage of, for your seeming frailty, or despised for it.  No one here understands actual gifting.  And, if they are doing you a favor, don't take it personal.  They want something, or are doing it for... someone else.  Even I do that, when I do that.  Or at least in part.  What I do for you, especially if you are the least, but even if you are held with esteem in my eyes, I do it for Christ, through you.  So... to a degree, I get that.  Wish other people got it, would accept that, or find that within reason.  Unwelcome, I am.  And, not... totally unfairly.

Time to find another place.  The first thing to go, as I walk out the door, is this.  No t.v., no computer, a change.  Even my cellphone will... be used differently.  Perhaps visits to libraries, as I go to places, and buying books to read if libraries aren't available.  A change in how I learn.  Going back, to a simpler way.  The internet, blogging, has made it seem like I am not alone.  But... I am.  I suppose I have always known it, too.  Just, liked the idea that there might be people out there.  Friends.  Oh, some, lightly, from a distance.  None who would wish to see me in real life.

Anyway...  Yes, a change.  Further and further from a home that... never was?  Perhaps to a better place, if I doubt it.  At this point in life, there isn't a better place.  Just other places.  Places I haven't seen, if all are familiar from one point in my life or another.  Now to take my actual break, look around the web, and then get to dishes in a bit.  Later.

Three of the six, seven.

.
.
Packages delivered.  They can find my house.  Or... one of the drivers?  Of the six one the way, seven in the shop as of 02:36 this morning, three were delivered.  Three more are listed as out for delivery, and one is in but suggested to be delivered Saturday.  If there aren't two trucks, then one didn't deliver everything, or three packages weren't actually sent out.  I'll know by twenty one hundred?  Or... not?

One of the items to be delivered is the pattern.  I am, over time, reviewing it.  Trying to make sense of things.  Weird.  By their measurements, I am a medium bottom, mens pajamas.  And larger than an extra large top.  They don't go up to my size, stopping at 47-49 inch chest.  And their increments are two inches per size, so... at 54" chest, that is... 4 extra large?  That's not even close to what I buy at the store, just 1 or 2 extra large.  And only a medium bottom?  Very, very, strange.  Nearing a small, actually.  I have the oddest sizes... if their patterns are true.

Ah!  Was having difficulty figuring out how much material would be needed for the pajamas.  The top said "B", but so did the bottoms.  It's... for both.  Gotcha.  It says, for medium, 3 1/2 yards, for extra large (their largest size listed) 4 and 3/4 yards.  I ordered six yards.  So, even if I have to twizzle things, a bit, in order to make the patterns match, I should have enough.  And, actually, I'll probably just make the bottoms.  I wear regular t-shirts to bed, not pj tops.  Makes for a quick change of pants and out, if I really must.  So, looking more at the 3 1/2 yards, and less, for no top.  I could see it being 2 yards, then?  I'll find out.

Though patterning and sewing are on the back burner until I can get the place cleaned up, unless I can use my breaks for that?  I just think, as intense as this first run will be, I might not want to try it while I am bleeding out to get the house in shape.  I just don't think I can.  Oh, as well as the material for the final product(s) (could make two pj pants and a pair of pj shorts?), I did order similar material, but cheap... for mockups.  Though I should only need to make one mockup.  Shorts won't be all that different.  If I may need to make several mockups, but have 10 yards to work with.  So... will get practice with much before I even get to the finish material.  I almost think ahead, though if never to the level of genius.  Just... a mildly common sense guy.  At least in the planning stages.  A cripple will never be up to par, on many accounts.  But... I do what I can, when I can.

I had been sleeping well.

.
.
What?  To bed a bit before eight?  I think so.  A call.  Potential buyer group(?) number 3?  We talked for a bit.  Then they asked to inspect.  No one else has been inspecting.  Surprised me.  I agreed, but will have to cancel.  I need time to... do some things.  Ugh.  Even if I wasn't a bachelor, I would guess most people would want some time before an inspection.  Especially an important one.

Up?  Now I am.  With heartburn, if I could get such a thing.  Definitely with a cranky g.i., now.  Bleh.  Now I will have to push through work.  I think I can have it at least slightly more presentable by then, and with things stored and stowed back, a bit, again.  I had just been pulling things out, opening things up, and sorting.  And the kitchen?  Bathroom?  A mess, just... because.  No, I need some time.  And I will have it.  They will just have to wait.  Actually?  Until August 1st.  That gives me... some time.  And the date is... a good clean number.

Gah!  But now I am awake.  It reminds me of when my mother visited, by surprise, or an officer showed up unannounced.  While I was sleeping.  Or ill.  Now I'm up!  Bah.  Even a chief, coming around, just poking his head in through the door.  I don't have a weak constitution, just don't like surprises.  This, while it shouldn't have been, is a surprise.

I have to get to work, and prioritize as well.  The kitchen, and bathroom, have to be hit hard and fast.  And, that first hit will just give me a chance to then hit other areas, and come back to those areas again.  I hate inspections.  But, if I want a fairer number, that will be required.  To be honest, I don't think it will make much of a difference.  It will only make me feel better about things, and make it easier to turn down their lowball offer.  I... know they won't offer fair, or even market.

Though, if I go through this, again, and get it ready... really ready?  I may just see about getting her properly listed.  Not that that will get me anywhere, but... it would be incentive for someone to offer at least listing, based on quoted.  Though, can I reject a bid, if it comes in at price?  I would have to see.  I won't sell for quoted.  And banks won't lend for more.  They would have to come up with any overage.  And the only ones who might do that would be these "investor groups".

Awake.  Upset.  But.  Okay.  Excited too.  Okay, not really excited.  I don't believe this process will work.  Agitated?  Ahha!  I was sure there was a term for it.  Though, challenges... are good.  This plunges our legions flags into the enemy ranks, forcing me to dive in.  And I... I will get that back, or die trying!  Damnit already.  I just wanted to... nap into oblivion.

No packages from amazon/ups, yet.  Not sure they will arrive.  Almost betting they will be delivered to the wrong place, or just not show up again today.  Six or seven packages, some saying out for delivery, others just saying they are supposed to be delivered today.  Plus at least one other packages supposedly in, several days ago, but not out for delivery, maybe several of those.  And other packages lined up.  Mind you, most of these have been in since Thursday, a few Friday.  Out for delivery, or "expected" to be delivered by Thursday or Friday.  I received some things Friday, one package Saturday, and nothing yesterday.  Social credit scores?  I'm really beginning to wonder.  They have been able to find my house for the last thirteen years.  Now they can't?  Or won't?  Frustrated.

Well?  I'll have to wake, a bit, first.  But then I'll get in, started on the kitchen.  The freezertop, so I can start on dishes.  Then counters.  Then more dishes from the counters.  I know, I know.  But I am a bachelor, and that... does... lead to problems.  But if I could keep up on the house, I wouldn't be trying to get out of it.  It is crushing me, with nowhere to go.  Can't do this alone.  Difficult as a crew, but possible.  I would help, I just can't lead this type of charge.  Later.

I think I'll just go on up to bed.

.
.
Tired as can be.  It's only 07:43.  But, for some or no reason, I am bushed.  Didn't do much more.  Couldn't.

Mother called.  Asked about fasting and keto.  I assured here that, starting keto, no fasting is needed.  Actually, just the opposite.  Hit fats hard, I suggested, until they suppress hunger.  Then consider things like fasting.  But not at first.  I'm a bit nervous about her trying.  Not sure there is enough keto food in that place to sustain.  Then again, she, as I, have enough extra that it really wouldn't hurt, longer term, to be calorie deficient.  Especially since neither of us are, or can be, all that active.  But it does get to you.

Though she asked about protein powder.  Now that would help.  Unless she is eating powder with bad things, like soy.  Part of why soy is bad is because it has phytoestrogens.  Part of why it is bad, is it is so high in omega 6s.  Most Americans eat way too much omega 6.  While those aren't bad, it's the balance with omega 3s that is the problem.  And one serving of soy gunk sinks any chance and balancing omega 3s and 6s.  It's difficult to explain all this to mother.  And she wouldn't necessarily listen.

Her self-control is as bad as mine.  Though, and then again, for our conditions, we... do fairly well.  Both of us should be in the dirt, if I should have been there for the last thirty years.  She's just catching up to being behind the eightball to that degree.  Still, I am not sure she could really mess it up enough to do harm?  I'll help her as I can.  But, and then again, I don't know it all either.

Goodnight.

Not much.

.
.
Six boxes, gone through, lightly.  That which is to be tossed, from them, is gone.  The rest has to be sorted more.  But, I keep ending up with partial boxes, or items sitting out.  I will, it seems, have to keep going through boxes, until I get more sorted, and then begin to put items together, in the right boxes.  This sort of work is absolutely mind numbing for me, but it has to be done.

I'm making a bit to eat.  Will enjoy, perhaps watch part of a show, or maybe play a bit of a game.  Then, possibly, get to dishes.  After, a shower, then work upstairs?  Maybe.

It is 51 outdoors, and 70% humidity?  Well, that is what it is reading.  Indoors, it is 71 front and back, 34% humidity.  I closed the front door a bit ago, but left the fan going.  Just so it won't get stuffy in this front room.

Sassy has been fed, her water reset, and litter managed.  She got locked in the spare bedroom overnight, I think.  Oh well.  I'll have to look around in there, later.  See if she messed, or how badly.  But, with no food or water, maybe not?  Difficult to know without looking.

While it doesn't seem like much, at least I have cleared leg and eye room, here around the desk.  Soon I will hit the desktop itself, as well.  Hmm?  Now the trash can can come over right near.  Should make sorting and tossing much easier.  I may not be doing a great lot, but given the temps, and all, it's not bad.  I'll sure try to get some, or many, things done every day this week.  Taking the weekend at a slower pace.  There really is a chance I can have much ready, whatever else, quicker than I thought.  Still need help with some things.  But... so be it.  I'll... see what I can do, with or without help, for now.  Beg for help if that time comes.

Moving slowly, but moving.  I'll get to more.  It is a pleasant night, morning really.  I think the food alarm just sounded.  Later.
------------

Oh... forgot to post this.  It is now 49 outside, and 74% humidity.  I guess high humidity is sort of normal, at least currently.  Just not sure if that is normal year over year.  The temps are definitely cooler.  Most summers, often, it would only get down to the 60s, or even the low 70s.  Or... that's how I remember it.

One can imagine.

.
.
Haven't heard anything back from the potential buyer number... two, three?  One of them.  Nor any of the others.  If, too, I suspect they are all different voices of the same face?  Something like that.  I highly doubt if there are that many speculators.  Who knows.  Maybe.  If, like I said, the price won't be right.  And, I get it.  To one degree.  They could afford it.  It would be worth it.  But there are so many people who are just tapped out, shot, and done.  Looking for any way out, willing to sell for little or nothing.  They can't say it is the interest rates, as a problem, since they are offering cash.  No, they are... just trying to get freebies.  I get it.  Just... I won't do that.

While browsing, I ran across a few things.  I know that, should I move, I'll need to haul some of my belongings.  I may get rid of much, but I won't be tossing all of it.  So, I will either have to rent a Pods type thing, a U-haul of some sort, or... buy a trailer.  To be honest, I think the trailer would be my best bet.  Then I have something for my money.  Might not be able to get it all back, if I go to sell.  But I wouldn't need to put my stuff in a rental space, either.

If I had time, as well?  Perhaps set the Xterra up, as a living space.  Nothing fancy, but... a place.  So that, with some care and caution, I could find a place, in my time, without rushing.  Or... just be mobile for a while, until the world opens up a bit more.  A year or two, and I think the covid thing will be so gone.  No one, most likely, will even be talking about it, maybe ever again.  Even if they don't string those who perpetuated it up, they... will know.  And this won't be discussed again.  Nor will any future pandemic garner any trust, real, imagined, created, targeted, natural, it won't matter.  Trust is gone.

Nothing showed.

.
.
I checked earlier.  Some things were still listed as arriving today.  A few of the packages originally slated for delivery today were showing as late.  Which meant they wouldn't be here.  Most of them were showing as still being delivered today, but weren't listed as out for delivery.  So I wasn't of a mind to think they would be delivered.  And... they weren't.  Now they are all listed as late.

One of the things coming in is a pattern.  I can't find the pajama pattern(s) from before.  So I ordered new.  It only goes up to extra large, not even tall.  But I... figured those patterns would be difficult to find, from looking last time.  I have been reviewing videos, regarding simple pattern reading, and some for sizing up.  Or... will be looking for those.  Actually, I think the sizing videos I have looked at have been regarding sizing down jeans.  I have quite a few pair of jeans which are in great shape, but simply too big.  Great practice, too.  But they are jeans I really liked.  They don't make them anymore, either.

So I was hoping this arrived today.  The fabric, a solid plaid, won't be here until... well... they say Saturday, or is it Wednesday now?  But with backed up delivery, them having... ten or twelve packages, because of the ones not delivered today, and the ones supposed to be delivered tomorrow?  All supposed to have been delivered Thursday or Friday?  I have no idea when they are going to deliver these, or even if they are going to deliver these.  A new driver, who is not only driving, but also loading his truck, told to quota deliveries?  Behind by half a week now?  Not sure I will get these.  And, he often delivers them to the wrong address.  I'm not sure I will get any of these items.  Or are they on some sort of pseudo strike, having their pay cut, or being replacements for higher paid former employees?  Not sure.  But it's getting rough out there.

After the delivery of items I have ordered, I am going to have to stop buying.  I think that might be the point.  Amazon, and it's affiliates, can't afford delivery, and UPS can't afford the deliveries it has promised.  So... there are a lot of problems.  Well, it was good while it lasted.  I won't kick it as it dies on the hoof.  Thankfully, for the most part, I am done shopping.  For... a good long time.  If I can just get what I ordered.  Some of it, most of it.  And refunds on the rest.

Up!

.
.
Feeling rather good.  Sleep went well.  At first I couldn't remember when I had gone to bed.  Then I did remember... 10:30.  I woke at about 18:30, so... a good show, especially sleeping in the day.  A shower before bed, and drying off before crawling in, is always super nice.  Plus, having done a few things this morning.  Maybe not a lot of work, but... some, and good work.

I didn't end up doing any work upstairs.  Other than taking a few items, and the powders for the floor, up when I went up.  I was just too tired.  It was already down to 83 when I went out and checked, 84 or 86 up front, but down to 82?  Odd.  The rest of the house was 76.  Upstairs near me it was 76, 73 out in the room.  Actually?  That is pleasant, all around.

Still waiting on packages.  There are... four to eight, from last month and this, still in the queue, supposedly at the local shop.  But only a few a day are being delivered.  Though, the weird delivery on Saturday makes me think something is seriously off there.  But, they are paying attention.  They just aren't responding by actual contact.  They are in a hellhouse, trying to survive, by the results of their doings.  Hard to hate them, fuel is killing them.  Yes, I... have sympathy, empathy even.  But I really want my packages.  They are rationing deliveries.  No joke.  Though I don't think they actually have a choice.  Either home deliveries are going to stop, or prices are going to have to increase beyond the price anyone can pay.  No one wants to quit, but they can't just keep doing as they were.  To be honest, if I thought I could pick the items up, it might be worth me having them hold everything for a bit, and pick up the lot in one go.  Not sure they allow that.  They might not have kept the staff.  Perhaps the drivers are on their own, or nearly.  They might not have anyone for the front desk, if they even have a front desk.  I'm just not sure.

As is, they say I have... four to six packages due today.  Nothing has been delivered yet.  By their suggestion, they have half an hour for delivery.  I... don't know if I will get anything today.

As for today?  Back to working on boxes and sorting.  Then cleaning the freezer top, getting into dishes, and maybe a shower again, if later again.  As well, upstairs.  I'd like to get everything moved aside, the floor vacuumed, and dusted with both sorts of powders, and maybe sorting through clothes.  It's... a Monday!  And I am ready to get back to work, if possible, again.  I'd really like to get moving.  With this front room open again, it is not just a rebreath of fresh air, it is incentive, and proof I can.  I love to work, hope I can do a lot more this week.

So strange.  The pull to do chores is so strong.  I miss the little twerps.  But... they probably don't miss me.  The friendship was, as is most often the case for me, one-sided.  Oh, but someone had called, to ask for rabbits.  I would have given her three.  She uses them for gifts, at a charity.  I... just didn't see the message indicator until after they were all dispatched.  I feel terrible about that, there were some I would have liked to have been given as pets... a little reprieve.  But... so be it.

Well... on to something.  Mostly just waking.  I think.  For a bit.  Later.

Up to 66, last I checked.

.
.
Warming quickly this morning?  I can't remember, from day to day, time to time.  But... I did close up.  To keep what of the cool I can.  Still in the low 70s most places, though up to 76 near the machine.

I did refresh water for Sassy, and tended her litter boxes.  Fed her as well.

Then a shower.  Oh I love those things.  Hate when I lose track.  It's not even that I terribly need to shower, it is more the idea?  Well, that's my opinion.  If I ever got to a place, where I had cleaners for the place, I would be showering probably every day, sometimes twice.  And, if it had a bathtub, I'd probably bath three times a week, shower maybe seven times.  Seriously...  I just can't keep up on all, as things stand.

Flirting with a homebuyer.  Can't remember her name.  But, actually, her part is done.  She does the intake review, and sends it on to the pricer team, who then has another call about the details.  As suggested, I am letting them play.  But I am pretty sure they aren't serious.  They will lowball me to death, hoping I just give.  But, without walking with enough, it isn't worth the rents as things are working.

I suspect the house is well worth what I am asking.  And, could get it even on a fair, open market, deal.  More so if they are paying cash, no backend or extras.  I am talking a fair deal even for someone paying mortgage.  Rent on the place is three... four... times mortgage, and that is with interest.  So... yea... no.  Still, it's their money.  I just won't be scrooged.  And, before I accept any offer, even should a good one come along, I will check with the other potential buyers.  I'd love a financial fist fight.  Doubt one would happen, but you never know.

Still, terrifying, and getting a headache, and upset stomach from it.  Exciting.  I love it!  Mostly.  Just wish we could cut to the chases.

I did get a pack of baking soda and a bag of the diatomaceous earth ready to go upstairs.  Just taking a break, while blogging the last bits.  And... waiting for the pricer team member call.  Remember, over an acre.  Oh, and three outbuildings, plus a garage with enough spare room for a minor workshop.  Sometimes they think those things are valuable, sometimes not.  But they are very valuable.  The cost of putting even one of the up, currently, would be in the five to ten thousand range.  Solid, in great condition, good for animals, or tools.  Or red-headed step children.  :p

I'll wait a bit longer, as my break is quite over anyway.  Then go up and either get to things, or go on to bed.  Not sure.  Oh... another thing to try with the sewing machine bobbin debacle?  Getting the thread to unwind from the... thing... the other way?  I plan on trying that yet this morning.  Bleh.  Such a stupid thing.  A little thing.  An annoying thing.

Goodnight, again.  Maybe.  Probably.

Not a lot, but... some.

.
.
When sorting through boxes, and open items, it is difficult to know just how much work has been done.  It is... easy work, on the one hand.  What gets tired, that is, isn't the body.  The mind, though, after enough sorting and decision making, up and takes a short vacation, making further efforts in that sort of area nearly impossible.

I did sort four small boxes and a good amount of odds and ends.  It doesn't look it, until you realize the odd looking partial boxes are what were emptied and refilled, and that what has been brought out, and is in piles, is sort of organized for further efforts, sort of by type.

Some of it just doesn't go with... anything.  Some of it goes with a well defined group.  Some of it could go it two or three groups.  Still, it's... more about giving it my best shot, and improving through time.  Though, this time, tossing is much easier.  Now that I have a more well-defined criteria.

Just taking a little break.  Then a shower?  That is the plan.  After the shower, and some downtime, then on up to the upstairs.  Hmm, I'll wrangle a box of baking soda, and one of the sacks of diatomaceous earth, to sprinkle.  Not sure I will get to that point yet today, though maybe.  If not, it will be ready.  Plus, having it ready gets me more in line with getting it done.

It is 52 outside, now, with 68% humidity.  And 73 near the computer, with 30% humidity.  I had shut the door, and all but three windows, plus turned off the fan, a bit ago.  And it had warmed up quickly... to the 73/75 range.  I turned the fan back on.  And will leave it on until it gets too warm, or, more likely, I head to bed.  With the fan on, and just, it has cooled right back down.  Amazes me how potent little things can be.  Later, or goodnight.
