Just a little thing, but... I noted, the other day, after looking, that hamburger was on sale. At both of my regular stores. Not the greatest price, but better than I have seen in months. Sometimes you take what you can get. Like now.
One of the stores, often, requires five pound allotments, of their sale burger. I did that once. I had to repackage. That wasn't good. I still have some of that, and it works. But it was a cost, and a lot of work, and used freezer bags. So... no. I called the other store, to see if they would do it in two pound packages. Check, they would, did.
As well, as always, from now on, when dealing with any store, I get a quote, have them write the rough quote on the order, make sure they right the size of the packages, the number of them, and the weight. That is no guarantee, mind you. But if something is too off, I'll walk from the deal. I won't debate, overspend, or else anymore. They did offer freezer bagging, but I turned that down, at $.50 more per pound. No. And, will pick it up on the 1st... since the sale runs through the first, and I don't get paid until the first. Check.
