No sleep. Things turned around as I was heading up. Sleep just
wasn't possible.
Why cry over spilled milk, though? Besides, it is a pleasant
evening. It is only down to 79, in here, near the machine. Or so
it reads. But... I almost feel chilly. No need for the swamp
cooler. Just the fan pointing out, and the windows open through the
house. Wonderful, really. The last I checked, outdoors, it was
only down to 74. It might be a few degrees cooler.
Strange how I am able to handle these temps gladly, handily, smoothly.
Even up to the low 80s are... rather tolerable. Breaking a sweat is much
easier, but I am not in a permanent sweat. That is why I used to hate
the heat. Anything over 74 and my metabolism was in overdrive, and I
still didn't lose any weight! Ugh. Now? I can go out, into
the 90s, and only suffer mildly. Not even suffer, more... suffer some
discomfort? Right, that. It's like going up in elevation a bit too
quickly, or diving an atmosphere too far, too quickly. Not... dangerous,
immediately, itself. Just uncomfortable. Though, letting me know
that I need to pay attention. I am at some limit. And, hundred
degrees or more and that is compounded a bit, but I have even done that in the
last two summers, for a few hours once.
Still, it's crazy that at 79, with a fan, that I can feel chilly. Though
the heat is somewhat artificial, being near the machine. But... not all
that artificial. The cooling is probably more artificial.
I did get the trash out. No recycling to speak of. There is one
bag I could take out, but even it is only half full. Not... worth the
time, especially since I am not sure this is recycling week. Oh... I
need to get some money to the utilities! Gah! I hate that I fall
behind like this. I'll get two hundred in, and more next month, if that
didn't catch up. Bleh. I... do try. I just... fail, often.
I am hungry, now. I didn't have much to eat. The last of the roast
and one small new potato, baked with butter. Hmm... perhaps a can of
soup, or eggs and corned beef hash, or... maybe just a couple of cans of
sardines, on those keto crackers. I don't need much, just... a bite.
As well, perhaps I could do some neatening, sorting, storing, and restoring,
while I am up. It would be a good night to do some work. Plus,
maybe more work upstairs. Sure. It's... nearly Monday. Might
as well get to it. Hmm? Yes, sardines, crackers, fatted coffee,
then to some work. I'll sleep when I can. Goodnight, for your
part, or good morning.
