No, not even close.

.
.
I simply can't do what I had planned.  I did get chores sorted.  And laundry is being seen through to completion.  But I couldn't do dishes, or else.  I didn't even nap, never quite could get to even that.  Fine.  I did a few smaller projects.  Found something, important to me, which has been missing for a few days... since the last push before the inspection.

Oh, and a few other things.  Part of the problem is that I am so cold!  I didn't turn the furnace up, earlier.  Then I did about midday, a bit.  Finally, I quite messing around the jacked it.  I'm still cold.  Not sure... what that is about.  Plenty of warm drink and food.

One last meal, tonight.  I think beans and beef.  I give up.  Sometimes, when all else fails, carbs can heat the body.  And I need heat.  I am guess, with blood pressure (probably, haven't checked lately, but staying on meds) controlled, I simply don't have the heat high blood pressure and outrageous pulse offered.  Well, and diabetes... if not controlled, at least... maintained.  Between those two things, I would guess I have been running extremely hot.  Now not so much.  Though, too, there was the tease.  It was in the 40s, then hit 50 for two days, then dropped to 32.  And got wet.  Snowed, now is raining.  A cold rain to be sure.

So, carbs... or... are beans a carb or a starch?  Starch, I thought.  But it all sort of turns out pretty much the same.  Yes, beans and beef, and some hot spices.  If the mozz is any good, I'll add some of that, for a fat additive.  If I had salad fixings, I would go that way.  But I just don't, and can't get out today.  Too tired, sore, sleepy, and else.  Later.  Or, maybe, very possibly, goodnight.

About to get at it.

.
.
A bit of looking around, and I found a place to grind a few levels, quickly.  But, it actually requires some work, skill, and leveling is both worthwhile and reasonable, with a few... moderate challenges still remaining.  There are a few things, still, in the area, probably half way through my leveling in this area, I can't kill easily...  The outcomes, of some of them, is yet in question.  And, not... worth the time, effort, or risk... quite yet.  When I can take those with some higher majority likelihood, then it's time to move on.  And, it isn't just one group, or thing.  Beside the main mobs, are pickups, smaller mobs, and groups.  Plus, I haven't got the area, or path, developed, memorized.  It's very strange, multitiered, complicated, and... well... just how I like it.

However, I don't want to play games all day.  Or even, pretty much, anymore for now.  Chores, first, I hope.  Then dishes.  Actually, laundry first.  I won't put the whites in, as I am waiting on a towel, after dishes and a shower.  After those things, I'll run one small load of whites.  And that will be laundry for this week.  And dishes.  I will, pretty much, finally be caught up on dishes.

Then I'll play some more.  Though possibly the other game.  A few hours of this, a few hours of that, chores, Sassy's needs and wants, internet.  Tired.  I am.  Still exhausted.  The pain comes and goes.  Breathtaking, sometimes.  But, I can still work past it, or play past it.  And, I think... I am getting better.  The pain is... of a returning to life, not it's passing, loss.  I don't know if I can work past it, probably never fully, same with anybody.  But... I can work to where pain is... more reasonable, and associated with work, and efforts?  And lessor?

I don't know.  But I do know I did really well, for deep winter.  And I'm still going.  Plus, if I can tolerate heat nearly as well as last summer, though surely if tolerances are improved... which I am beginning to suspect may be the case, this summer could be really good.  Light hiking.  Maybe some fishing.  Perhaps a travel day, somewhere.  A visit, to another part of Utah.  Just... to look around.  Maybe the state and federal parks... the ones that don't cost a fortune to visit or be near.

Then again, I have a free pass.  Could get to the federals, find a less expensive place to stay, or bite the bullet and just stay at one of the lodges.  A day drive, an overnight, a day there, another night, then back?  Or camping?  I just don't know.  I don't want to sit around.  Things, life, is improving.  Hmm, might even start looking for a girl Friday.  I've... seen one, who might be possible.  I see her rarely.  I have already decided to, next time I see her, give her my phone number.  A one time deal.  No guarantee she will call.  No surety that if she calls, and we meet, that it would work out.  But... it's... already slated.  I've been looking in her eyes for half a decade.  And, I have been welcomed there.  It's... time to... see if what I am seeing is what I thought I was seeing.  Yes, it's possible.  But, just that.

Well, not quite ready to work.  It's cold!  I turned the furnace up.  But that isn't quite doing it.  Drinking coffee.  Had a warm breakfast.  Cold.  Chores, though.  Then maybe a nap?  I don't know.  Having trouble staying awake.  Later.

Up!

.
.
Yes.  If you are going to ask.  I am pleased with myself.  Not only did I get up rather early, after a very late night.  But I am already forming plans for the day, weekend, and next week.  Probably too ambitious, but who can ever know.  I went to put the laundry in the dryer, but I had clothes there.  Giving those a tumble, then I will dry the clothes I washed last night.

Dishes, too, but later.  If I finish them, I may take another shower.  Those things, today, and sorting boxes here in the front room, as well, items and partial boxes in the livingroom and bedrooms.  Plus, seeing if the moving covers actually fit the mattress and boxsprings.  Well, just one boxspring, in the main bedroom, today.  If so, I'll put it on, and set that aside, somewhere.  Maybe in the spare bedroom.  Plus, take down the bed base and store that near the boxspring.

That will be about it for the day.  Tomorrow?  I'd like to continue with the boxes, as I may not be done, even then.  But, shift a bit to the kitchen, the counters, stovetop, and oven... get working on those.  Light duty?  Aye, that, save the dishes, is light duty.  And the dishes are only a bit of a struggle because of where I am, again, having to wash them.

I really need to get a silt treatment system in, here, and then redo the kitchen faucet.  I just get a lot of silt, and some faucets are finicky.  Though, I would guess it gets in everything.  A three tier system.  Which... I'll have to check often.  Though, not as often as a family would need it.  Still, will be curious to see how often it has to be checked and changed.  How much it really takes out.

Oh yes, a bit weary still.  Tired.  Worn.  If I can keep at it, that is probably what the rest of my life is going to be... a body already finished, being used to the last drop, and then some.  I'll never finish, until I am done.  It was my plan, anyway, I just wasn't able to hit it without the right medications and dosages.

Oh!  I saw Sam!  She is doing fine.  She was a bit... put off by me.  At first it hurt a bit.  I thought she was angry about... some things.  But, no.  It's just... she knew I was still of the living.  Didn't understand how I could be there.  It still stung, just a bit.  But, then, I remembered when my cousin visited me.  How much that hurt, and the trauma.  We aren't ready for what is, or was, depending on where we are.  She just... wasn't ready.  But she looked so good, and healthy, again.

I'm not sure why it makes me cry so much, and again.  I am almost sure that was real, and she is in such wonderful shape, and health, and youth.  And I am happy.  I just... she isn't here?  I don't know.  Some of the tears are from joy too?  Such a thing.  Even if you can, I wouldn't suggest slipping the veil, until it is your time.  It's... a hard thing.  Amen.

Well... on to breakfast.  It should be ready.  Some browsing, and gaming, to get started.  Then on to work when I can get to it.  And chores, probably chores first.  Oh, it snowed!  Just a thin blanket.  I was a bit surprised it remains.  I also feared it had gotten bitterly cold in the process.  Cooler, but still above freezing, at 32.  I may have gotten even colder, or not though too.

Have a great day.  Get some work done.  Pray a prayer or three.  Or just relax.  Here, at least, would be a good day to relax.  I am going to do a bit of all that.  Though, you know?  Gaming isn't relaxing.  I may begin taking an half hour, a couple times a day, to pray, meditate.  Shutting everything else down and just... focusing both mind and soul.  A good time to begin adding the rosary back in.  Let me, first, make some room, then as I expand, expand into that.  It takes me an half hour per shot, on that, but sure sets up the day for a right start.  Later.

Still awake.

.
.
And it is quite late.  Nearly a quarter to three.  On the good side, beside supper, I did get a shower.  I did put the dishes in for another shot, hopefully to be hit tomorrow.  And I put a load of laundry to run overnight.  Nothing fancy, but if I am going to be up late, it is good to get work done.

Tonight, I wasn't awake to do work.  I was awake, so I kept at it.  Small things.  But... it adds up.  The shower was absolutely fantastic.  It's... been a while.  Too tired, sore, busy.  Wonderful.  To be clean again.  Hair to balls, to feet.  Brushed my teeth, took medicine, had several smaller meals.  Rested, gamed, still picked at work.  Good.  All of it, a good day, for being such a horrible day.

The pain is seeping in, through.  But it's the right kind of pain.  I'm just... too old to really earn from it.  My gains, from it, are what was done, not in strengthening my body.  That is happening, but not sure it means anything to this body, at this point.  A few visual things, looks really, cosmetic.  My stamina is not increasing.  I'm not even sure my strength is.  No matter, I will keep after it.  Things to do, work to do, chores to do.

Yea, so... goodnight.  I just have to let my hair dry a bit more?  Or just bind it up, and go on down.  Yes, I think the last.  Goodnight.

Almost amazingly good.

.
.
I went with the palm heart 'rice', and beefy mushroom.  Adding a splash of cream as it was cooling near the end.  Mildly seasoned, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders... nothing fancy.  Just right, as far as I could tell.  I worried it might be a bit too mild, when added to the ingredients, but... no.  Just right.

The near micro-diced palm hearts tasted, and had a texture, a lot like cauliflower.  Only without the potential for gas, or... that heavy feeling sometimes after eating cauliflower.  All good, really.  Not rice, but then, to be honest, I'm not sure I ever liked rice?

The rest of the burger is put up.  I'll want to get groceries, sometime in the early part of this next week.  Minor things, and not all that much.  Just one batch of salad, a single veggie pack, a few packs of meat.  I seem to be able to do with, say, six or seven larger packs of meat, for the month.  Assuming I don't let it spoil.  Bleh.

A shower is still on the schedule.  The newest game... ugh.  I like the game, to a degree.  But they make the controls so sluggish.  And put in animations which needlessly punish.  I found a guide for the type I wanted to play, a mage really.  And I have done everything I could do.  There is an area they suggested I should be able to get through but easily and obviously can't.

But, now that I have made my 'toon (short for cartoon, another name for game character) overpowered, I have to find a place to level.  I suppose grinding is the only way.  Just going to random areas will get my 'toon dead.  Tuned, one way or another.  But, it is now a boring slog, with lousy controls, animations which needlessly punish, and... I'm... not sure I see a lot of reason to play more.  I may try other types of 'toons, or just stick with this one, for now?

I won't be playing as intently.  I may find a guide through the game.  It is just too big.  And so many things will kill you, and quickly.  Some you might be allowed to beat, after it kills you several times (yes, I do think they require most people to die there first few times through, even things we should be able to beat).  It's designed that way.  Still makes me angry, even knowing it's rigged.  It's how this particular game is made.  And addiction factor... denial thing.  Tugging the rope of a dog, we being the dogs.

Without something to do, and no real story line, I... don't know.  It'll be difficult to stay interested.  And it is rather large, with lots of little things, and big things, to do.  The death thing just slows the game down, or it would be a fifteen hour game, max.  They don't even care if the deaths are fair.  It's their bread and butter, they have to spread it thin.

The other game has become a bit dull as well.  Playing over, from the start, with a new 'toon, taking a different direction in the game.  Still, it's... a bit of a pain.  And, some things just don't work due to lag or other issues.  The game really shouldn't have been released for ps4.  It might be too much for ps5.  And they aren't offering ps5s at their quoted price.  They let some sell, sometimes, but are cheating the markets by buying them themselves, well and selling them, often, through side sources, at a cost at which they can make money.  They cut themselves short, and just couldn't afford to sell them at their promised price.

Though, I won't get ps5.  They have made those into serious 'big brother' boxes.  On the good side, people aren't as interested in ps5.  People just don't have the money.  Families, kids, college kids.  The money just isn't there.  Nor, I think, is the interest.  They sort of are cutting their own throats though.  I can't buy new games, because the system won't really run it.  And I won't buy ps5 for the price and privacy concerns.

Well... a shower.  Maybe a bit of gaming on the other game.  And, hopefully to bed soon.  So tired, but just can't sleep.  Later, or goodnight.

Vinaigrettes.

.
.
Oh, and tasty too.  One has a bit of heat, you would call it blistering.  I call it subtle.  One is a balsamic, one is just plain italian.  Both are just so!  I was so excited to try it on a taco salad.  Started the burger, and went to fish out the salad makings.  But... no salad makings!  Ugh. Oh well.  Soon.

I'll just have beans and burger, and spice.  Yes, beans aren't the best.  But I am hungry, and burger, alone, is okay but a bit tight.  And I end up eating too much.  I suppose I could try it with palm heart rice?  Or make a spaghetti sauce, and use the 'miracle noodles'?  Yea, there is that.  Why don't I.  I'll get the rice filtering.  Grab either a can of keto cream of mushroom, or tomatoes?  Hmm, don't know.  One of those.  I don't mind carbs once in a while, but beans are on the edge.  Regular pasta is way over the edge.  These others can push it.  But nowhere near what regular pasta does.  Even potatoes are minor compared to pasta.  Beans a little less than potatoes?  Depends on the day.

Well, on to the burger, then... something.  Later.

Not much.

.
.
Chores, a while ago.  Well before sundown.  On the good side, the sun came out for the last part of the day.  To late to warm the world much, perhaps.  But it was 42 pretty much all day hereabouts.  I won't knock that.  The rabbits were both hungry and thirsty.  Perhaps the warmer weather got them going?

Still no signs of the mommas to be getting ready for a litter.  I keep looking, and hoping I catch the signs.  I know what to look for, and what to do.  Though, who knows if they will be good mothers or not.  We will see, I guess.  If... they ever have their puppies!  Ugh.

Still hoping to get a shower.  I texted several people, regarding some things.  I have been gaming, mostly.  Resting, nicely.  A very needed rest time.  I've been running far too hard, and fast, and long.  Even so, I... am healthier for it?  Getting in a bit better shape?  Yea.  Maybe.

Chicken, I warmed a few pieces.  Very good.  I think, for me, the trick is to warm them in a rather high oven, for a rather short time.  Not trying to cook it, more, at all.  Just warming it.  And crisping the skin just a bit.  That worked well.  And the chicken thighs were almost as good as the fresh, and better than I sometimes do it.  Overdone chicken is pretty bad, even if it retains moisture.

Though, I did figure out why I was in such terrible shape the other day.  The day of the main inspection.  I had missed medicine the day before, and not had coffee for two days.  I... got so busy I didn't think to do those things.  Got lost in it.  Cold turkey, on two major aspects, for going on two days, and yea.  I was hitting something awful.  That on top of exhaustion, a hurting body, and not enough sleep.  But if you can't hurt a little extra, from time to time, why play the game!?!  :)

Hoping to get a shower in, and work on dishes, or at least get them set back up.  Perhaps to bed early tonight, too.  Maybe another meal, the last of the pork roast.  Or, and probably more likely, frying the burger, and having it with lettuce.  It isn't fancy but it sure is tasty.  And I received olive oil I am hoping is extra virgin, unadulterated, cold pressed olive oil.  I can hope.  But, I am going to use that to make italian dressing, vinaigrette, one or both.  I just need to find some smaller mason jars.  I meant to do it yesterday, but... just... no.  Today will have to do.

Sassy is mostly just sleeping, in the living room.  She has finally taken over a cat bed, and is enjoying it greatly.  She does come over, a few times a day, to see if I will give her a massage, and scratch her various itches.  And, she is having fewer and fewer cut/scratches which scab.  She is still going into the vet, in time.  Just... to check.  As well, with the floors open, I'll begin treating the place for any possible bugs.  I don't think there are, though some spiders for sure, and always a few things in a house.  Actually, I am seeing about having it done.  Don't know, just... checking.  As mentioned, if possible, and it works, Sassy and I may vacate the place for a while, let them do that good and hard.  Bats too, possibly, while at it.

On to... something.  A shower?  Then getting dishes in?  And, maybe later, finish the waterers?  Maybe.  But I was going to do something else, first.  Ah!  Dressings.  Yes, I'll do that.  Sit for a bit again.  Then a shower and the rest.  Later, or goodnight.

Well...

.
.
I didn't make it to bed until 4:23, give or take ten.  I... just... couldn't.  I did dump the water from the washing tub, and removed it from the bathtub.  So I can take a shower, when I can... take a shower.  First thing I actually do, today, when I can do it.  Then the dishes back in, to a fresh soak.  To be washed... sometime later.  I'm going to set a timer, after they go in, for an hour and an half, to two hours, let the hot water and soap work.

But, chores as actually the next thing.  If I might finish any remaining waterers, and look for a missing medium sized one.  It may have been left with the closer cages?  I'll look.  As well, when the batch from yesterday is brought in, I will refill those.  That will give me some time off of filling those.  With it staying thawed, I only have to water them once a day.  Until the heat hits, then I may have to double that.

I would like to get the drill out, and get the eye-bolts on the post.  Then, in this next week, get the hammock out and set up, with a tarp over it.  We'll see.  But I would like to try the setup, on a night that gets cold.  Sassy won't sleep with me, out there.  Sam might have, though I doubt even that.  But might have.  Sassy?  Too much like a typical human female... all in on creature comforts.  Phooey on manthings, activities.  Which... is fine.

Oh, I best get water going, for breakfast.  I got the water carrier filled, and water heater filled, before bed last night.  Little things, but they make the morning smoother.  It really is the little things that make the rest of it all fit into place in a smoother operation.  Just a few moments of conscious effort, ahead of time, makes it so easy later.  It's like force multiplying using only yourself.  Really really.

Dark, outside.  Overcast.  But it is already 42 as it approaches noon.  Nice, if a bit chilly.  Still, after showering, breakfast, and maybe with a light jacket if out for a longer time, this is short sleeve weather.  If you are a healthy male.  Women... should stick to long sleeves, a jacket or coat, and warmer clothing.  Good to be a guy?  Depends on what you like, I suppose.  Later.

About bedtime.

.
.
Late.  But it has been later, even this week.  Not a lot, today.  Mostly resting, recuperating, gaming.  But, some food down, even waterers nearly all filled.  I emptied and refilled soaking water, for the dishes.  Don't want to let that sit too long!  Ugh, the smell from mostly clean dishes and soap water, even after two days, can be right rank.

Not all the waterers at once.  Just a batch at a time.  I didn't do dishes, with the waterers.  Just... little bits.  Hopefully, tomorrow, I'll be able to do a bit more.  Say sorting what was put in on the bed, and on the smaller couch and coffee table... clear those.  Go through the boxes I have, around, which are partially filled, get them sorted better.

Perhaps some vacuuming in the... no.  The master bedroom needs more work before I can get the vacuum in.  But, I did receive the vacuum sealing mattress and box spring devices.  It promises you can squeeze a mattress down to where you can roll it and carry it.  Not... my mattresses.  But then, I don't need that.  I just need it to fit, and seal.  Then I can put those off to the side, somewhere, and have a lot more floorspace.  I'll see about getting one box spring, in the master, in and sealed.  That will force me to do some work in there, and open up space for more and easier work.  A twofer.  Yea, that is what I will do.

Plus, of course, chores, feeding those in the house, litter, and a shower.  Which means at least emptying the dish tub, and moving it.  Though... it would be good to finish those dishes.  Still, a fresh start, by dumping them.  Then showering, then setting them up one last time.  These dishes were... pretty rough.  Ugh.

I think I'm trying to talk myself into a heavier day tomorrow.  But, if I can do the efforts in a hurry, just maybe.  Cut some corners, push the time so I don't run into stamina issues, as much...  Maybe.  Anyway...  I'm not setting an alarm.  I'll get up when I get up.  Though, if I can, I'll be up around eight... or as soon after as possible.  Might be noon, might be nine, ten, who knows.  But, eight is my goal.

I may dump the water from the dishes right tonight, and move it, so I can shower as... soon as I can shower... after... whenever that might be... I wake, then wake.  Bleh.  Goodnight.

Crazy luck.

.
.
I woke, at 11:00.  Had to push it.  Actually, with the 11:00 alarm, but more like 11:20 to 11:30?  Right.  Brushed my hair, oily as it is.  Wanted to get up, and be going, take a shower, and do a bit more cleaning before the termite inspector showed up at 14:00?  Right.

So, I get dressed, and downstairs, get the machine running, and hear something that... intrigues me.  So, I go to the door, and am opening it, when... I see a man.  The termite inspector?  Almost speechless.  Then, he tells me, first they gave them a wrong number, to someone in Iowa.  I explain that.  Then they sent him to my address, in the next town over.  There... is no house at that address.

Finally, they get him to the right town, and here he is!  I told him I thought he was arriving at 14:00.  Nope.  All good.  There isn't much I could have done.  I thought he would be in the basement, but... not.  He was everywhere.  Okay.  A clean bill of health, so all good.  All very good.  And... done.

We had some laughs along the way.  Chatting about nancys and other such.

Anyway.  Inspections are done, I have what I need to send in.  I just... need to get a fax number, a shower, dressed, and to town to send it.  Today?  I doubt it.  Probably not until Monday.  I'm tired people.  I don't hurt, but I think that is because I have become numb to pain, again.  It is whitenoise pain.  A beautiful chorus of agony, drowned out by it's own self.  But there, underneath, behind every muscle, joint, some bones, and other bits and places.  If I focus, and dig just a bit consciously, I can touch raw nerves.  Wonderful.  I earned this.

So.  Not today.  I'll let the pile of molecules I call me rest for a day or three.  Then, get back to things.  I still must do chores, manage litter, feed Sassaroni, do bodily functions including breathing, and else.  And I will try to do a few little things... go through boxes, resetting and refilling here and there.  Maybe sorting boxes a bit.  And dishes, if I possibly can stoop without causing immediate exquisite pain and/or cramping.  Loverly!

But... for a bit... a slower pace.  Oh, but now, with my automated raising and returning desk in place and fully operational, I may begin using it in the standing position for an hour at a time, or half hour.  Just to get my legs back to use.  Then, trying to get back to standing much more often.  As well, with the living room open, using the footstool to raise my legs, from time to time while gaming.  Therefore splitting my time between sitting with feet up, sitting with feet down, and standing.  Will that actually help?  I don't know.  Will find out.

Now for breakfast.  Just a chia slurry.  And bacon and eggs?  Ah!  I have all my pans clean, and one burner very clean and open.  The rest will get hit when it gets hit.  But, I could make bacon, and eggs.  Sounds good, either with the chia, or a bit later.  Whichever I can do.  I'm not pushing anything, for a while.

When I get back to health, a bit, and energy, I'll be back to hitting the house.  Aiming at a few general projects, and one specific room, at a time.  I think I will start in the main bedroom.  And then the en suit bathroom.  Then the spare bedroom.  Going through boxes, clearing those to the other bedroom after going through each completely, pairing them down even more, and putting likes with likes.  Tossing what I can, will, for now.  But, too, maybe putting them in boxes with the intention, that if I don't use them in a year?  To let them go.  A trigger box.  Yea.  Next year, at about this time, I may order a dumpster again, for a week or two, and... just... let go.

Hard to do.  This first load wasn't as difficult.  Mostly the low hanging fruit, so to speak.  The next one gets personal.  Private.  But... all good.  If I have not, am not, using these things, it's time to let go.  What a ride, though.  Oh, the hours worked, so far, is only 13~14, from my helper.  Amazing how much was done in so little time.  He may have found better employment, and has things of his own to do.  So, not sure how much more he will help.  But I'd like to get seven more hours out of him.  Just straightening, finishing touches, perhaps some work in the garage?  Still, not all that much.  And it wasn't hard work, for him.  Just... time, with some reward.  Little pay, but some.

Oh, this dumpster is full.  I really am thinking of keeping it one more week.  It depends on if he will be helping a bit more.  Might be able to get enough waste generated to keep it, if so.  Might be best to wait until the dumpster is emptied, but... he may be working full time, real, good-paying, work by then.  I'll... check.

On to breakfast and a slower day.  Good morning, day, and all.  Later.

The chicken was amazing, too.

.
.
I only had one piece.  But it was perfect, or as perfect as I can make it.  The rest has been put up for tomorrow, or whenever.  I have to be awake for a termite inspection, tomorrow afternoon... I believe.  So I can't just run the night.  Feeling rough, so wouldn't have anyway.

Something is really off.  Stress, missed meds today... just... forgot.  I have taken morning pills.  Will stay awake and try to take the evening pills too.  Another hour and it will be, say, five hours apart.  These are powerful meds, taking them too close together can cause serious problems.  Mostly if I am stressed, extra ill, or too hot/cold.  I'm... two of those things.  Can't get warm.  And very stressed.

Even though it is finished, it... isn't finished.  And I won't know if the thing goes through, or what his estimate is, for a while.  Ugh.  And there is still one more inspection.  Though, hopefully, that will be a lot less stressful.  And, more hopefully, I'll get an immediate pass/fail notification.

I had stopped playing, to go to bed.  But realized I have to be up another hour, or two.  Should sleep well.  Will set the alarm for, say, ten and noon.  Though if I can get up earlier, even at 08:00, I will.  And, do a bit of work down in the basement, in the morning.  Just a bit of tidying, picking up, and such.  Well, and chores.

My heart is literally tired.  Sore.  But I still have a few things to do.  Goodnight.

A good roast.

Pork, bone in.  Not much meat, all said and done.  But very good meat.  Done as well as one could.  Cooked through without being done to dry.  A very good meal.  With the chicken thighs, too, just being freshly thawed, I decided to cook those.  I might have one, might not.  The rest will go into the fridge.

I did part the meat from the bone, on what remained of the roast.  Put that up before it went bad, or even got a little funky.  I'll be quick about the chicken, too.  I may fry burger yet tonight?  No, probably not.  Will get the raw in the reefer though.  Fresh thawed doesn't stay fresh long.

I was playing the game I have been playing.  But decided to try something else.  At some point, play becomes work.  So I started the game I have been dying to try.  My fear, though, was that it would be brutal.  It is from the makers of some seriously difficult games.  Still, why not.  I have been holding off, like a good boy, for a few days?  A day?  Something.

So far it isn't too bad.  The first boss ran over me, but that's usually a given, and not an option.  Sure, you could spend twelve hours, or something, getting his moves down, and with your starter equipment learn to beat him.  But... that's... not what I am looking for.  So I went with the narrative.  I tried, loosely... with the new key controls, and laggy sluggish control system that the games of this sort start with.  But I knew the score, and, definitely at least for now, I just went with it.

To point, I can avoid combat, and just explore a bit.  Just got a mount, so can explore a bit faster.  Have looked up a few things for starters.  Sure, could just... go.  But in a game this big?  No.  It would be like moving to a foreign land, one which is dangerous, and just... going out and finding things out as you go.  No.  Scouting, comparison reports, suggestions both general and specific.  I drank data, if I remember very little.

But, it has been pleasant.  I am enjoying just "stretching my legs", killing a few baddies, and looking around, learning to interact, and soon to be finding the advice, and following some of it, for noobs and my specific character type.  Unless I crash in... dang it... chicken.  I can't crash, for about an hour.  Bleh.  Probably pretty shortly after the chicken is out, and has had time to cool.

So tired.  I am so stupid to have started the chicken.  But, then, I didn't want to see it go bad.  Chicken can go bad so very fast.  As can burger, but I've hit my limit tonight, to cooking, even standing.

Oh, it really looks like the mice, in the shed, are taken gone.  Never can be absolutely certain though.  I will try that stuff near the closer cages as well.  Not sure if there are still mice there.  Oh, and will be trying the buckets, with spinny things, full of water.  Peanut butter, various grains, and rabbit food, in the p.b., to draw all sorts and as many as possible.  Both near and in the shed, now that it is warming.  It got to 48 today, at least!  It was nice!

I did continue to air the house out.  That lasted a few hours, then it got just too cold.  It only went down to 66, front room and living room, so probably everywhere.  I can handle that, easily, for sleeping.  But not for slowing down, getting ready for bed.  Oh, but I could cool it down for the night now.  But, a good, rather warm, sunny day.

Oh, as a final thing, I ordered slacks.  Two sizes, various colors and materials.  Hoping they work out.  If so, and the shoes fit... and the shirts in the bags are still good... perhaps to confession, soon.  And back to church.  And on into the mens' group again.  A start, back out to life.  Yea.  If these aren't the ones, soon.  A sharp dressed man?  Meh.

Later.  Or goodnight.

A few things, and a worried chuckle.

.
.
Received a call, from my financier company.  Worried.  She received a message that I needed three weeks to get work/repairs done.  She was, if constraining, fit to be tied.

For the inspection?  Yes, she said?  Done, said I.  What?  We said at the same time, me enjoying it, her not quite so much, yet.  I asked who had sent this.  Oh, the other office, or such.  I explained that the message must be an echo, from when I first restarted the program.  But that the inspection has been done, already, today.  And the other one will happen, as planned, tomorrow.  So... all good.

Relief.  You could feel it pouring out of the woman.  We both got a chuckle and a smile out of it.  At least I was pretty comfortable, pretty sure this... but it always makes you stop and think, if something happened, or didn't, that you thought happened but did or didn't?  *laughs*  I don't worry.  I do chuckle.

Chores, finally.  I had to sit, rest.  The stress has been almost as much as the work.  Different effects, but they can be cumulative.  Oh, got the roast in, while sitting to play, rest.  Heck, I... don't really want to play games.  I... those are even taxing, at this point.  But I don't want to sleep, can't anyway.  Can't work, can't sleep, don't want to play, what else is there?

Wow.  Even what was done today, in the back hall, opened the place up in ways I hadn't remembered.  But this front room, and the living room... incredible.  Now to begin, to a degree on a whole front, but also one room at a time.  Taking it down, tearing things apart, cleaning everything, then putting it back together.  One room, space, box, at a time.  But, to do it, there are times when you really have to push, so as not to fall behind.  If it is also, always, a bit of falling behind and catching back up.  Ebb and flow, come and go, soon or late.

Still not sure what to do.  The roast will be ready in less than half an hour.  I really can't sleep yet, or work.  My hip and legs are on the verge of spasms.  I guess gaming, as lightly as possible, is the way.  Termite inspection tomorrow.  Should get word on that, right away, know if anything is there.  Ugh.  I won't do more dishes, until Friday or Saturday.  But what is there is in the way.  Need to drain them and move the bin.  Plus, there is a nerve twisted around that hip.  I've pushed.

Later.

The inspection has begun.

.
.
I am just letting him do his things.  He is outside, currently.  He has permission to go around as he pleases.  Inside, I'd rather be near.  Guns.  Other such.  And there are small and large bits of value, here and there.  Still, I don't want to crowd him, either.  I have already apologized for the place, but explained some of it.

At some point, we will talk.  I am curious what upgrades, updates, and fixes, he thinks would be more important.  Just as a point of reference.

Now, the place does look better.  I mean a lot better.  Unbelievably better.  It has taken somewhere from thirty to forty five hours of work.  To get it very good, I mean in-law meeting good, would take about that amount again.  Here and there, this and that.  And, I will get to it, in the next few months.

Depending on how this goes, I may start being able to get tradesmen in, for quotes... on the electric, the furnace and ac, floor work.  A week down, another month of cleaning and work, repairs I or we can do, then begin having them in.  So, really, just about a perfect amount of time, and a good time... spring... to be getting quotes.

If the loan goes through quickly, I may even be able to get electric this spring, perhaps even furnace and central air.  Though I suspect fall would be the earliest for those things.  The bathroom?  bits and pieces, here and there.  Flooring?  Just quotes, for now.
-----------

Oh?  Done!  All that effort, for just a relatively short review?  Less than twenty minutes?  All good.  It needed doing.  And, as mentioned, it isn't done yet.  I will keep at it.  One more inspection, tomorrow, but an easy one.  A termite inspection.  Had to get that when I bought the house, too.  Ugh.  All good.  So relieved.  Good, bad, ugly... it is done.

Now?  Now I get to rest a bit.  I worked this morning.  So I won't worry about more work today.  Oh, but chores.  I... have to do chores.  Then I will just crash out today.  Hmm... perhaps baking a roast though.  The meat has thawed.  Frying some burger, perhaps, later.

Chores, then sitting.  I'll fix something when I get hungrier.  Later.

Out!

.
.
The last load out to the dumpster.  Almost full already.  One more week?  I'm just not sure.  I'll think about it until tomorrow.  Friday?  Friday.  It'll be ordered back Friday, or next Friday.

So much room!  Every time we cleared these areas, we filled them back up.  Though each time we emptied, we emptied more.  I would go through things between fillings.  I am seeing areas I haven't seen in... years.  At least since mother visited.  Some, perhaps, from before then.

Opening things up exposes things that need washed, cleaned, etc.  At least the areas have been swept.  Now to finish clearing, sorting, the little remaining.  Then down to the hardcore cleaning, if I can... get the rest out of the way and do the cleaning.  We'll see.

I did sort out my bedroom, enough for a spot inspection.  And, the bathroom will be clean.  I... I have done all I can do, and hired what I couldn't do.  My world has changed.  Now, perhaps, to see about getting help cleaning.  Not sure I can afford it though.  Will... see.

Oh.  It is nice out there.  It was 43 or 44 when I first got checking things.  Perhaps warmer now?  Warm enough that I have opened the house and am letting it air.   The inspector will thank me.  The old dust, and such, has a certain smell.  And, going through things has stirred old cat smell, of the worst sorts.  So... a little airing will help.

A new little world here.  Seriously.  And, over time, I may be able to improve things, slightly.  Until I decide what to do.  Good afternoon and day.  Later.

A lot of things hurt.

.
.
Mostly waist down.  Hips, major muscle groups, joints, even bones.  When I spasm from cramps, even the bones can get twisted.  The upper body is more stiff than sore.  Two to three inches of muscle gain, on my biceps alone, in a few weeks?  I should guess so.  Surprised the upper torso doesn't hurt too, though that may just be by comparison.  The squeaky wheel gets the attention.

They haven't emptied the dumpster yet.  Someone was in it last night.  Probably thought to dumpster dive.  But it is... hmm... full.  the effort it would take to get in and dig around would be massive.  And the mess?  Oh, and there would be no putting it back.  Plus, when they opened it, or shut it, they lost control.  Woke me.  I didn't know, however, for a while, what it was that woke me.  Then again, they may just have been trying to toss something away in it.  If they found a place, good on them.  I guess.

I did a bit of cleaning and clearing upstairs.  It's not bad, up there.  It's just private.  For now.  I am hoping, by then, to have it so he can do a walkthrough?  Maybe.  I am hoping the dumpster gets emptied soon, I have half a room or two halves... quarters... of rooms, with stuff ready to go.  It would be nice to have it gone.  Just on a clutter standpoint.  I know, that isn't what he is checking.  Mostly.  But it helps him to check.

Oh, but after today, I need... to take some time off.  Maybe a week, of lighter duty.  I will keep up.  Maybe one major and a few minor projects a day... such as cleaning the counters, and clearing two small areas... a table in the living room, and the loveseat... or doing all the laundry for a week, plus going through a small group of boxes.  Little things.  Plus, trying to vacuum or sweep or mop a few floors every other day.  Things like that.  Getting ahead while not falling behind.

And, I'll tell you...  If I fall behind again?  I will just rent another dumpster and start tossing.  I wish I had thought of that, or gotten to it, long ago.  There is this load, the load that will go in it, and whatever I can get out this week, then it probably goes back.  Or, at most, one more week.

Personally?  I think we all have the hoarder gene.  For some it is more prevalent.  For others it is an imperative, or just the opposite.  I'm middling, just without constraints.  A wife, who would also hoard, but different things... the two can keep each other in check.  Or... not.  But more often so.  We try to collect, hold on to things... we think might be of worth, for one reason or other.  But in these times, with everything being plastic, or worse... electronic... none of it built to last?  Yeah.  I found my first cellphone.  A motorola flip, about as thick as brick, and rather hefty.  It's value has to be somewhere around -$10 and -$500... in shipping, handling, and storage costs over the years.  But... there it is!  Bleh.

Anyway... I'll try to get a shower before long.  When I can stand.  Then hit chores.  But, mostly, waiting on the dumpster to be emptied.  What a few weeks.  But, after today, and slightly tomorrow, done... for a while.  I can rest.  Sleep even.  When and how I want and need.  Brutal.  Terrible.  Harsh.  But... wonderful.  I've... tried to do this much work for decades.  Killing me, but I love it.  As little as it is, for me, it is fifteen windsprints between four marathons, back to back save sleep cycles.

And, while finished, I am still in some sort of shape to begin getting ready for the next season.  Maybe a month, two, I'll dig in again.  Deeply.  Going through the saver boxes and parting with more and more things.  Things I am keeping... just because.  I can keep a few things.  Just... I have to let go.  Those times have gone.  I slept and died through much of my life.  Those people... places... I will never see them again.  Time to... cut my losses, move on.  Start over, or begin to close up shop, really.  Swedish death cleaning?  Is... that what it is called?  Something like that.  Later.

Can't sleep.

.
.
Oh well.  I'll... be up, until I can, I guess.  Later.  Or goodnight if I hit a lucky shot somehow.

Not really early.

.
.
But I do believe I'll be in bed before midnight.  Perhaps before 22:00... ten p.m. for... some of you.  Maybe.  Headache, slightly sore, a really tired.  I think the headache is an exhaustion headache.  Not terrible, but not from a body problem, but a sleep problem.  Or just a worn out problem.

I have tried to make food.  Well, did make food.  It just wasn't very good.  The meats haven't thawed yet, so I tried my best with what was at hand.  I'll... try something else in a bit.  Perhaps watch a portion of a show while eating.  Then go on to bed.  Yea.  I'll try to tuck in by 22:00.

I'd really like to take a shower, but that isn't going to happen.  I checked the temp, outside.  A few hours ago anyway.  It was still above freezing, 34 F.  Warmer, and a good thing too.  Even I weary of the cold.  This year more than usual.  If I have been trying to do a lot more through the winter.  Stayed on meds, mostly.  Not a bad gig.  Now to see if I can make it through the summer.

Yea, something to eat, a part of a show, then on to bed.  Goodnight.

Chores.

.
.
It was all I could do, but it is done.  Fed, watered, and happily.  I wasn't feeding those in the shed, for a few days, to try to force the mice to eat what I had put out for them.  And, finally, actually, it looks like they did.  Further, they had become bold enough that they would just wait, where I could actually see them.  They weren't there today.

Perhaps they left, without food, and will be back.  But they did get into the food trays I left out for them.  Nothing too toxic, just baking soda and flour in one, and plaster of paris and flour in the other.  I'm not sure which one they tended to like, but they mostly hit one.  I think it was the baking powder one.  If so, they'll become little bombs before going stiff, rather than the other way around?  :)  I don't care which way it goes, as long as they get stiff in the end.  Get it up.  Or I'm gonna have to kill ya!

So tired.  At least it was warm out there.  At 34, earlier, it was still cold.  It is 44 now, and feels... like spring!  It has sprung.  Heck, this almost has the feel of a rare rainy summer day.  Beautiful out there.  I wish I had energy.  Even with work to do, it being so nice, I might run away for a few hours, hiking a little hike, or even just a drive.  I ain't got nothing to put in the adventure pot, even on payday!  Ugh.

I thought about a nap.  But I... wouldn't nap.  Not that that would be terrible.

I have meat thawing, though I doubt if it will be thawed by tonight.  Tomorrow?  Maybe.

I have one game I am playing through, and another I can't wait to try.  Two, possibly reasonable games out this month.  Haven't even seen another game I wanted to play, let alone two in a single month.  One is very large, the other is massive.  Not even sure I can play them both at the same time.  I don't remember trying.  They are different enough, but... it... just seems like getting gravy on my peas!  Or carrots touching the chicken!  OMG!

I can't try it now.  Not until after inspections.  But, when they are done, I may try to juggle those eggs while I recuperate.  Yea... that might be a nice way to ease back into life.  I'm not going to stop working, though, even then.  I will work when I can, as I am able.  Probably doing a few little or big things every day, save Sundays.  Maybe even knocking off most of Saturday.  Which... could get me back into confession.

I ordered a pair of dress shoes.  Plain.  Nothing even a minor lord would wear.  But, something any humble man in history would have been proud to wear to worship his God.  Pride isn't in the wearing, but in trying to look right for the one Who gave us everything, then gave it again.  And still does.  Looking right before the Lord is a good thing.  I just, now, need to purchase slacks.  A pair or two.  I'm not sure about the suitcoat, but will check.  And, seek ties, when I check on slacks.  Always something.

Well, on to gaming.  then, possibly, off to bed very shortly.

More work.

.
.
Doing, did, what I can, could.  May try to do little things through the day.  Planning on just a bit more tomorrow.  Hoping some things happen that make efforts tomorrow successful.  Kitchen, and back hallway, mostly cleared and swept.  It needed it.  So much going on.  And a lot of things to go.  A lot of empty and half empty boxes.  Still?  Yep.  Not of the size I wanted, so I'm not out.

As a last task, I asked him to fill the rabbit waterers.  My legs... still rough.  I can walk them out, not asking him to do my chores.  Just a part of them which would cramp my legs, and keep them in poor shape longer.  Just two days worth.  Hopefully, by then, I can get them myself.  Do them all, the take some time off.

After the inspector comes and goes, life will be easier.  Not stopping there, though.  If I want things done, like furnace work, flooring, etc.  They will have to have access.  And, it would be good if it were reasonably clean for their visit.  Even just to get quotes, it'll need to be... reasonably kempt.

Oh, so burned out though!  So tired.  He looks at me and just grins.

Checked my arms though.  They normall run and anemic 13" to 14".  They are running 16".  So, that protein is definitely working.  Taking anything, probably everything, I am doing, and putting it into muscle.  So... if you were wondering, as I was, yes... added protein helps a lot.

I am guessing there is some serious limit to how much build is possible, without more formal exercises... and possibly else.  But, for now, that is good.  It is a solid start, as well.  That two inches of extra, solid, muscle, will help burn fat.  Muscle is the only way to actually burn fat.  I don't think most people's metabolism will do it, not even young guys, without muscle, and the use of that muscle.  Watch a strong man, who gets sick or injured, and can't work.  Then again, how many of those are stuck eating as if they were still working out?  Anyway, the stuff is helping.

They felt solid, rock.  Not now, after working.  But, a day or two off, and they will be back to rocks.  I am just so tired, can't get it up.  You'll have to kill me.  :)

Yea.  All good.  Medicines are working, protein is working, I am working, or... better than I would have thought.  Food is going in.  Mostly the right foods, too.  Mostly.

I'll game for a bit, catch my breath.  Then hit chores.  I was thinking I would do it at noon.  But it is noon.  So, I'll... do it later.  I set an alarm for two hours, see about then.  Ugh.  Later.

Up.

.
.
Relatively early.  I didn't actually get down, to bed, until after four?  Yea.  Shortly after, I think, but could be wrong?  Still, I knew that if I got the shot, I'd be up by eight.  I woke at 07:52, and had to pee like a racehorse.  I realized this was my chance.  So, rather than use the jug, I got up, dressed (with my canines crossed to help hold the pee), got down, and did my duty down here.  Starting my machine and such on my way through.

Will it mean anything?  Will I be able to work at all?  I don't know anything, right now.  My eyes sting, my brain is... waiting for more... any... data?  And my body is somewhere my mind goes when it has data, but isn't processing it.  It'll... get back to me right as soon I a fuck the right off for having gotten it out of a warm bed with, possibly, no reasonable cause.  Kids, these days.  And the language!  Did you read the language?!?

Sassy rolls into my part of the bed when I roll out.  Not why.  Then again, most girlfriends I have ever had did that.  Or would when they could.  Yes, sleeping on my side of the bed, when I would get out.  If they were tired, or still tired.  Weirdos.  Women.  At least she, like Sam and some other girls, didn't have a foot fetish thing for me, too.  *cringe*

Speaking of feet, I woke with a heel with a terrible itch.  Though, like when they burn, I suspect they do neither, in truth.  It is a pinched nerve, somewhere up around the hip.  For what itches or burns is hard heel skin, which probably doesn't have nerve to it.  The address is a misallocation of nerve impulses, from a nerve hung up somewhere.  But I can't stop from itching, while I try to stretch out the places I suspect that nerve of truly being located... and getting up, out of bed or off the chair, for a bit.

Gaming, just a bit.  To wake.  Try to wake.  I may not make it.  I have an opportunity, to do what I wanted.  But, what I think I want, sometimes, doesn't turn out to be the choice I would make with more forethought.  Still... sometimes we get what we wish, whether it was a sage wish or not.

I have to laugh, at this "war".  It was a created war.  Biden isn't being weak, he all be told Putin to invade.  And, Putin, wise or not, chose to accept this morsel being offered to him.  It isn't his to take.  Puppet or not, he shouldn't be in there, replacing a puppet with a puppet.  I somehow doubt if NATO realizes Biden actually did hand it to Russia.  As to Biden and China?  Theater.  Biden doesn't mind looking like a putz.  Listen to him talk at about any time in his life.  There was a comedian, who had a dummy, which looked and sounded exactly like Biden.

Biden, like Trump, are faces of things.  With Trump, it was easier to identify who he represented, mostly.  Not so with Biden.  For his handlers aren't American, for the most part.  He represents foreign interests, so most Americans, save the zombies, don't know his people.  But they do feel the presence of his financial backing.  And profit from it.  Much as those who support China and Russia more directly.  Just, I would guess, follow their financials.

Then again, this "war", is all about keeping the reset going.  Jacking prices for oil, gas, and whatever commodities or such which they want to keep artificially inflated.  This isn't about politics, or NATO, or... anything but commodity prices, and whatever bubbles they need to keep afloat.  Could it get out of hand?  Maybe, but this has the heat of a fifteenth, already been there, date.  Someone might get some, but... who cares.

Anyway.  On to... trying to wake up.  Later.

Couldn't sleep early.

.
.
Oh, I... kept thinking about it.  Just... it wasn't possible.  I turned the furnace down to sleeping temps, but that didn't help.  I did that early.  Very early.  Usually that will work.  I did everything I could do to go on to bed.  It just... wouldn't couldn't, happen.  Three 0 two.  Bleh.

I hurt, all day.  The pain pills took the edge off.  But all day, my legs have been on the edge of charlie horse cramping.  Upper body is nearly back to form.  I am hoping tomorrow my legs will be better.

Other than what I did earlier, nothing doing.  I sat and gamed and tried not to hurt, or think about things.  Difficult.  But... a good day.  I enjoyed, as possible, for what it was worth.  I am very happy, even if I am stuck, here, for a bit.

My mother called today.  They rejected her ssa insurance, or some such.  She is having to hand over her burial insurance.  In part she was crying because she wouldn't have anything to give us.  She already gave us a decent chunk of change.  I reminded her of that.  And, told her, it was a very generous gift, from a woman who had only pennies her whole life.

That... helped her.  Has my brother forgotten?  Or did he want more?  I... don't get that.  She spoke with him as well.  But, yes, I... have nothing but gratitude.  I don't need anything more.  Though, I would like my brother to pitch in so I can visit her a once a year, or every other year.  He won't visit her, I would if I could afford the travel.  We'll... talk.

But, then, she realized she would never leave that place.  That... it is her final home.  And that is true.  But, I helped her think through that, too.  She has people who take her out, often, for overnights, afternoons, or just meals.  And she is able to go.  But, it is true.  And it is hard.  It is a little like graduation, only instead of going into the world with little more than your clothes, you are leaving it.  A hard realization.  I just told her to enjoy her days, to call us, to do what she can... for herself, for others.  And, when it hurts, cry.  I'll always listen.  And I'll try to understand.  She's a wonderful woman.  I can't help her with death, I told her it is a singular walk.  But, to it, and I believe after it, we may be together again.

I have been there.  I realized, thirty years ago, that I was... done.  At least with the rat-race.  I... so wanted to get in there, and out there, and compete.  To make money, to make things maybe, to create, and work.  I... was dead, to the world... mostly.  I knew it.  Before they "found" the heart issue.  I... I knew.  I was where she is now, and so long ago.  I live in the sliver of a razor blade edge.  I just... haven't slid into the abyss yet, or... again?  Again, again, again, etc.  I know the hurt, as it hit.  And it hit every few days, then weeks, then months, then years.  Now... every year or three, it hits.  I can't... change that pain for her, but I can sympathize, listen, tell her I love her.  Yes, yes I can, and do, did.

Well.  On to bed, now, I believe.  Goodnight.

Ugh.

.
.
Mostly technical.  The help arrived.  A wifi thermometer kit, which wasn't seeming to work, got fixed.  Then a couple of outlets were replaced.  And, finally, two fire and co2 alarms... co?  Anyway, two of those installed, and tested.  Good to go.  I brought four of each size box down, and put them together.  Then have gone through bits and pieces of things, but am making more of a mess than not.

That has been it.  I am running on empty, sore, tired, and just not doing well today.  But... We'll see.  I might yet finish dishes... or just hit them?  I don't know.  Taking a break after the stuff.  I didn't do much.  A fetcher, sometimes.  And did a few minor things.  But, really, mostly just a pet rock today.

Oh, tried to get door seals in.  But the three types of stuff available just didn't work.  We did realize what was needed.  And will be getting that soon enough.  But, yea.  That will make a huge difference.  Work, work, work.  Always something else.  Oh, surprised him.  He had used the drill, but finished with it.  Set it down, and the drill kit.  Decided he needed it for another job, went looking for it.

Do I know where it is?  Of course I know.  I had pulled the bit, put it in the kit, closed it all up, and put it all away.  Surprised.  He was.  I told him, now that I have my house back, I'll... keep it.  So, if you want stuff, from now on, go look where it should be.  Check.

It's killing me.  It really is.  My legs are still trying to knot up, sometimes they get so close.  A bit of stretching helps.  But, my guess is, I am nearly out for the week.  I could help get a couch out, or something like that.  But for hauling a lot of boxes, or... not for a day or two.  Tonight I'm going to get to bed early.  I don't care how, I need sleep!

Oh, tomorrow is payday!  I have all but one bill, finally, on autopay.  Maybe two, though I am not sure if there is a balance on both of those accounts.  Ugh.  I'll check, get everything paid, get cash for dairy, and... yea... begin my monthly orders.  Food, waters, though holding off on wants.  Plus, I owe a final little bit this month, and some extra.  So... yeah.  Get paid up this month, and eat bologna or such if need be.  All good.

Next month will be clear, can start some things, auto savings and else.  One thing at a time.  My world is changing.  I may even figure out how to get out walking, from time to time.  Never jogging, though possibly hiking.  And, maybe, get back to swimming.  Oh yes.  Swimming would be grand, even a few times a week.  Especially taking protein.

Later.

Down late, up late.

.
.
Moving slow too.  I went down at 23:00?  Woke all night, peeing.  Must have drank a lot of water yesterday, or... did enough work to push out any possible excess?  Don't know for sure.  Leg cramps, every time I got up to go.  Horrible.  Not a scream.  No teeth clenched.  A few serious sighs, when a cramp hit me before I knew what was happening.  Even those I attempt to deny.  Up, finally, at about 10:38.

Getting out of bed and going was a slog.  I have used everything I have, and then some.  Oh, legs may be cramping doubly, in part, because of all the bending, stooping, kneeling, and else, in my efforts.  Upper body is just a bit tired.  Lower body is absolutely wrung out in every possible way.

I have one more load of dishes in the process.  A smaller, but very dirty, one.  Caked on.  Though the hot soak last night might have tended much of that.  When I can, I will just dump that water, with a filter in place, then refill.  I'm not even going to mess with trying to wash.  Not as is.  And, one big mixing bowl, from the last batch, needs a bit of a retouch.  So it will go back in with the refill.

I also need to do waterers.  I couldn't get to those last night.  They, actually, are my priority.  Then dishes.  After dishes, then I'll begin checking the boxes for size.  If they work, I'll get six to eight of them constructed... they arrive flat... and begin digging into the various piles downstairs.  The piles are shrinking.  The whole place WAS a pile, now, there are just small selections of piles left.  And, some of those are just waiting for the dumpster to be emptied.

While checking the temp, I saw the trash truck stop and get my barrel.  It is 32 out there, already!  With it being sunny, or mostly, I would bet it will warm nicely today.  Perhaps breaking into the 40s?  Time will tell.  So, after it did it's job, I got out and pulled the barrel back.  In busy times, that can be forgotten for a week.  It happens.  Not this time.

What a thing.  After this next dumpster drop, and refill.  And a bit more in the kitchen and back hallway, this will almost look like a home.  Then, if the loan goes through, and some upgrades and updates, plus weather sealing, this place will be pretty sharp, actually.  Even without that, it... will do, again.  Houses may have problems, but they, if built well, really last well.  It's a fancy cave.  Just keep it standing, and do to the inside what makes it livable for you?  Something like that.

Dreamed of spiders, finding them in too many places.  I'll... I'll get to them.  I may put Sassy in lodging for a few nights, and hit the place.  When... I get to that point... in a month or two.  Heck, I might take a few days off, somewhere inexpensive.  Spray, pray, and leave.  Come back to a clean, clear, place.  Well, and there are the bats which need to go.  So... yea, I could see having all that taken care of at once, mostly.  Might be returns, and figuring out how they get in, and dealing with that over time.  But... yea.

Anyway.  I'm... going to game.  If I were to not game, I would end up back in bed.  I... can't do much, right now, for now.  Ah, medicine and pain pills.  With breakfast.  Then gaming.  Then dishes, if my legs stop micro-cramping.  Ugh.  Have to get to waterers though, even if I don't mess with dishes.  Even just one batch to get them water.  Soon.  Sooner than later.  Ugh.  Later.

Okay, but...

.
.
Everything I was going to do, for sure, possibly, has been done.  The dishes finished, a shower taken, the last load put in.  Laundry dry.  Dry?  I'll... check, to make sure.  It may need another tumble.  I even washed the kitchen sinks.  Not perfectly, but they are... in much better shape.  Oh, and I found another bag of... rubish, as it isn't really trash... and took it out, in spite of really not wanting to go out.  But, it was part of the... program.

And, it is right between 20:30 and 21:00.

I may just go on up to bed.  Or, maybe, I will do a bit with boxes.  See if they are the right size, either type.  I bought two different sizes.  One is no longer available.  And, to be honest, the physical size, just in numbers, doesn't tell me if the one will fit or not, my needs.  I want it big enough to hold a reasonable amount, without being able to be packed too heavily.  Gotta be careful with books, no matter.  But the rest... yea.

I really think I will do some box work, if they will fit my needs.  I still haven't had the fatted coffee.  A rather good day.  I can't work very hard, or for very long.  I am working throughout the day though.  Oh, waterers.  I really need to get those.  But tonight?  Maybe one or two groups?  Ugh.

I'll... be up until I am not.  I will do what I do.  Later, or goodnight.

Better than I thought.

.
.
Laundry has been reset.  The first load of dishes are done.  And the trash was gathered, put out, and the barrel taken to the curb.  Well, and litter was checked.  I am doing less a week, with litter, than I was doing in a day.  Poor thing must have had it rough.

Life is good, for Sassy.  Now not only doesn't she need to fear Sam?  But fear for her too, I think.  She is doing very well.  Though, the scratches?  I thought were from Sam?  Maybe not.  I'll... when I get things sorted a bit better, get her in to see the vet.  Something is wrong.  It may be behavioral?  From Sam?  Or... just her own issues?  She is continuing to have scratches.  Now Sam is an impressive girl, but that's pushing it.  Though I ought to check food in with her.  That... could be getting eaten.  *grin*  She was an eater.

A shower, next.  I hope.  And, then, setting up the last load of dishes.  If I can pull some boxes out, I may do some sorting.  And, I may clean the kitchen sinks, just a bit.  I did clear the stove top, but not clean it yet.  I need to clear the counters, but not tonight.  Moving along fairly well, if slowly.  I am going to try to be to bed by 20:30 to 21:00 tonight.  So... a shower, soon.  We'll see what else I can do between now and then.  Maybe nothing.  Maybe everything suggested.

Oh, I should have fatted coffee.  I am really using the fats and protein, as I work.  Brutal.  It's not real work.  No one could earn an income on the little I do.  But... it is beyond what I can do.  I... can't maintain.  But, for a while, I will.  Ugh.  Later.  Maybe goodnight.

Just chores.

.
.
And barely those.  So tired.  Not sore, or achy, mostly.  Just worn out.

I am pretty sure I can finish dishes.  Both those in a rinse, and those to go.  But, that might be it.  Well, one other thing.  I will see what trash I can collect, from various spots where sorting has been happening.  Gather that all, and get it into the regular trash... which goes out tomorrow.  Doing that, and the dishes, would be very good.

I have the kitchen sinks soaking.  One keeps draining, but I am trying.  They had become rather... gnarly.  They might be hit.  The next task, after those, whenever I can get to it, will be the counters, stove, and oven in the kitchen.  Later tonight?  I... don't think so.  I am guessing I will hit the dishes, get a shower, set up the last load, and slowly come down as I finish that, then on to bed.  Well, and trash in there.  I hope.

I could sleep right now.  I am going to risk pushing on through, and sleep when the tasks are finished.  If possible, in all the ways that term could be applied.  Later, or maybe goodnight.  Not sure I'll be back.

Going. Slowing.

.
.
I hit the dishes, again.  Scrubbing to the shine.  It looks like they are clean, so I am rinsing them now.  I'll set the timer for two hours.  As much because I am tiring, as because I want to give them plenty of time.  I have the next load collected.  It is very small, but... rough.  A soapy soak, dumping that water, then a fresh soapy soak, and a wash.  Hopefully that will be enough.

The last load of laundry is in the dryer.  One more short finishing spin and it should be done?  Who can ever be sure, but probably.

If I can get to boxes, that will be later.  After dishes, after laundry, after a shower, perhaps while the last load of dishes is soaking, or being rinsed.  I have little areas, everywhere, where a box or dozen might help at least neaten the area enough to be, and look, more pleasant.

I might not be able to do the big areas, or hit things without getting lost in details.  But I am putting in everything I have got to give.  I can't keep this up, not only am I not a marathon runner, I'm also neither a sprinter nor intermediate racer.  I'm a couch potato... by health, age, and else at this point.  So... yeah.  Still, it's a possible way out of the trap.

Now, to fix something to eat.  One more taco salad?  If so, then the meat goes out.  It's... done.  Not really hungry, but that isn't always why one eats.  I need food, especially as I push on through.  Wow.  What a day, and several weeks.  I feel like I am stuck in a tornado.  Riding it, like that cowboy of old lore.  With a rattlesnake whip!

Yea.  Yea, I'll... get something to eat.  Watch a show.  Do some more gaming.  Hit chores, more gaming.  Then dishes, and maybe on to boxes.  Amen.

Up, at 08:30?

.
.
Give or take ten.  Down at 3:30 or so.  Not much sleep, but I saw an opportunity to keep days, and took it.  To bed earlier tonight, somehow.  And, at it already.  I checked on laundry.  It needed another cycle in the dryer, so it getting it.  Wash just has to wait.  But those are the last two loads.

Then in on the dishes.  I drained the goo.  Yes, these are bad.  They are the worst dishes I have.  I will get to washing them, in about an hour.  I had hoped to shower last night.  Had to cut something so I cut that, since I am still mostly clean.  Instead I finished the other dishes and started these.  These aren't great in number, just larger and dirtier.

I may just push them, through, then the other... last... batch.  Which is just as bad but fewer and smaller still.  As well, hitting the counters through the day, and stove top/  And, maybe, sorting out the oven.  A shower when  all dishes have been completed.  Both a reward, and a flushing of the system.

If I have any energy, after those things, I will check on those moving boxes and if reasonable, bring some down and begin in on the living room, bedrooms, and possibly kitchen.  Anywhere there are piles of... stuff... begin going through them.  I'd really like to knock out the floor space in the kitchen, next... and hallways.  But, I really need to deal with what has already become a refugee, without a home for the moment.  At least a temporary home, in a box.  Or on it's way out.  The place really is improving, if... that... is all just a very strong beginning.

I want it finished.  Whatever it takes.  Clean, clear, washed, refreshed, replaced, sorted, stored.  Then, to keep it that way.  But, first, still, to get it into shape.  I still need to at least touch on the basement.  Both inspectors will be down there.  I can't do a great deal, but I can do a little.  And will.  But that will be a more final detail, if a vital one so...

Yes, I am tired.  I hurt.  Even my inner thighs hurt?  Yep.  Somehow those have been stretched and used.  Lower back is a bit stiff, but doesn't hurt.  Sleeping on the floor really does help with the back, if you can handle the break-in time, and don't have bugs.  Actually, upstairs, on the floor, I have fewer bug bites than when I was sleeping downstairs, on a bed.  Odd.  Upstairs just isn't bug friendly.

Well...  Breakfast is brewing.  Should be ready shortly.  Medicine will happen with breakfast.  Oh, I'll set a timer, for getting back to the dishes.  Hmm, and check on laundry while I finish setting up breakfast.  It could well be ready to cycle.  If I wait until it gets cold, I then can't tell.  Later.

Well, it's... going.

.
.
Laundry took longer to dry than anticipated.  Several runs through, but finally finished it.  The dishes were all done, and many of them put up already.  Only a few remain to be stored?  I think so.  But everything to be washed, which was rinsing, is at least drying.  If, as I said, most of it is put up.  And the stove has been cleaned off.

Not at great speed, if drying laundry sort of became a bit of an obstacle.  It wasn't from lack of effort, I simply had more clothes in there, and thicker clothes, so... it just takes as long as it takes.  The last load is in the washer.  I don't think I'll get one or both of the drying racks up tonight.  But... soon?  I hope.

A shower, soon.  Then dishes into the tub, into the tub.  No, really.  I may call it a night, after those two things.  I'd love to mess with boxing things, but... I'll... I'm not sure I have enough, or the right size.  I will see about the ones upstairs.  As I go to bed.  Hmm, I should have their size in my amazon memory.  Well, I'll... probably just have to check.

Anyway... time to take a short break, then a shower, then on to bed?  Ugh, getting so tired I can't remember what my plans were... after a little research on other things.  Yeah, a shower and to bed.  Maybe dishes set up.  Goodnight.
