.
Checked the blankets first thing. Done, dry, good to go. So I
gathered them and brought them in. Took them on upstairs, left them over
a span, to... sort themselves out a bit. That tuckered me out, to be
honest. That last blanket was very heavy, and I just woke up. Even
the flannel sheet is a thick one. So, yeah, pooped right off the bat.
I was just about to go on back downstairs when I realized... the
mattresses have to go down. Ugh! Those things weight much more
than blankets, even the small topper. But the double under mattress
weighs a ton! Still, I was up there, and wanted them out, so... and
pillows. I took the small mattress and the two pillows, first.
Then took the big one down? Or... was it... it was the other way around.
Either way, I was clean tuckered when I got them on the line. But... I
wanted them lengthwise, not crosswise as I had them. So, pulling and
pushing and tucking and spinning... and... I got the big one the way I wanted
it. But the little one is too narrow for that, so I had to do that one
crosswise. Then I pinned things up, hoping it will hold them, though a
strong wind may well send them to the ground. Pillows too.
I'll check them at about 15:00. Turning them. Sniffing them.
Oh, I was going to spray the top sides with lysol. I'll get to
that. Boy, though, that got to me. I knew it was going to be a
heck of a task. Getting them upstairs, again, too, will be a major
chore. Especially now that I am this tired. Still, it's...
good. So, maybe, that is why I haven't been doing this as often as they
suggest? Maybe, probably. Sometimes I simply can't. Still,
it is a goal. Flip the top mat weekly, the bottom mat every two weeks,
and air them monthly, every two weeks? More monthly. Though, too,
the way I have them, I can flip the top mattress twice, then use it is the
bottom mattress, then flip what had been the bottom mattress twice. That
would... give me a month before needing to air them out? Two
months? I'll... just have to see.
Now what? Well, first I'll have to go spray the tops with lysol.
Then... take time to wake up. Maybe do some gaming. Then to the
counters, and then dishes, and then another shower? If I can finish the
dishes, then get a shower, I'll start another load. I have backed up on
things.
I have roast, still. I'll have a healthier cut, or two, this
afternoon. With veggies. Nothing fancy, but it seems to work out
well enough. That may be it for today, if I can do that. It's just
noon, as I finish this. All good. Later.
Some days, I am suspicious. And... there are reasons.
