I was not able to get to work. I did make coffee, had a bite to eat, got Sassy more food, cleaned her litter, but that was just it. I have hit some sort of roadblock. I am exhausted beyond my ability to negotiate. It feels hot in here, I feel hot. It only ever got down to 62 as a low, at about 64% humidity, outdoors. Last I looked, it was at 70, with 68% humidity? Strange, but okay. It is much warmer now.
It is 78 in here. Not sure if I closed everything up. I'll go check. Then go on to bed.
It looks like there are actually four packages arriving today. The practice material, the actual material, a pair of shoes, and water. I broke down and decided to order a bit more perrier. Not in the volume I have been. Only drinking a bottle every few days, to once or twice a week. It's good for me, just... it's expense has gotten out of hand. A rare treat only.
Well... after checking windows and such are shut, I'll head on back to bed. I have been heading there for an hour or two, I just... didn't get there, yet. It's time. I kept hoping I would break out of the crushing exhaustion, but that won't happen. I'll say some prayers for you. I have what I need and want. The rest I leave to God's hands. Come, go, live, die... so be it. Goodnight.

ReplyDeleteDitto. I thoroughly enjoy Perrier and drink it whenever I can manage it. Which isn't often so I'll also drink La Croix water and club soda.
Hmm, I'll have to check into La Croix and that then. I can make carbonated water, with some spritzers I have... and co2 cartridges... co? CO2, I'm pretty sure. With r.o. water, that wouldn't be bad, come to think of it. Though, I would guess, it is spendy too? Well, between inconvenient, and the cost, it... sort of get there. But, since I have parts and bits, I should do that once in a while anyway. Use it up, at least.
ReplyDeleteGood shot, old boy! :) Thanks for the ideas. I need a bit more, or would like a bit more. If those are less expensive, and with the carbonated water I can make, I can have a bit more than the pricey stuff.
Oh, and it's good. A lot of guess really diss perrier. I guess, like wine, they think it is girly? Not my problem, but I just know these things. Besides, it really is my beer replacement. Would much rather have beer, but, you know how it goes. Or... maybe you don't. But could guess? Not just diabetes, temperament and else.
I usually pay an average of $4.00 (give or take) for an 8-pack of La Croix. The nicer part is that, unlike so many other commercially available carbonated waters, La Croix only adds a hint of flavoring. Hardly a shadow even. More of a tease.

I'll have to check at a a store, maybe several of them. Amazon is all pricing it at about a buck a 12 oz. Then again, I may price check perrier in town, from now on. Even before fuel went up, amazon started repricing things much higher. Though, to be honest, most stores go by amazon pricing, these days, or higher. Depends.
ReplyDeleteBut, with how they have been delivering, and selling products out from under me, I am probably going to end my relationship with amazon. It might be more expensive, but then, I might buy less... if I have to go out to get it. And carry it in. There might be a few things I consider from amazon, but... a lot less I think.
