Haiku Monday - Aspiration/Aspire

.
.
CoreyJo is up with the contest.  I... wrote a couple, but decided not to present them, not yet.  I am tired, I am not sure they fit, I am in a slightly dark mood.  I will put them here and see what y'all think.  And... I will consider myself.  I wonder if... perhaps I am too dark?
I am told to quit
I am told I should face facts
I won't sleep 'til dead
for all the things wrong
my guilt, shame, mistakes, heartache
bearable for love

the wind in my hair
just impossibilities
walk through walls daily

I have been lucky enough to meet the finest teacher.

  1. Even if they are dark they are great and I feel they fit the theme just fine. The first one keeps poking at me.... something about it strikes me. Not sure what, but something.

I think you should enter these. I learned from Rafa years ago that the most important thing about something you've written is that it evokes feelings in others. Doesn't matter what they feel, as long as they feel.

I hope to see you enter & I hope your mood lifts and leaves you feeling lighter.

    Kisses

  2. Of course you should enter them.
Darkness has it's place as does the light.
    Be well, Doomster.

  3. Okies. I had no coffee yesterday, it was the end of the day. I found a little coffee that kept it going long enough, but... thinly. Didn't want a Halloween contest kickoff. :p Cloudy out and winter, edge of many things.... Just wasn't sure.

Super! Then I will get them on over, and put in, perhaps, another, if it will... autowrite itself. Good thing they autowrite, I really am lazy. :)

  4. The last one really resonates with me.

  5. That's my pick for a daily driver, foam. Not sure if I am glad to share the notion or not, but for your sake.

As a philosopher once suggested however, look at the option. :)

  6. That would include the snowshoe venture? Walk through walls on a first go may not be real graceful, but I hope you come to enjoy them. They can take you serendipitous places. ;~)

These are not so dark as transcendental.

  7. Yep! Snow shoes will get me, eventually, to the impossible, through the impossible, with the impossible. There is a link in there, if I can't always... see it. :p

Transcendental? Could be, maybe. But for those who haven't touched that, it is frightening. Being there accidentally, it was terrifying until... until it wasn't. For me. Much like a habanero would be terrifying to someone who had only ever eaten bland food... or faith to an atheist. Frightful!

  10. I'm on it, CJ. I'll post at the winner's circle when I am up. :)

Thank you foam. *bow* I will endeavor to... shake it up, whichever way it goes.

Oh? Fooled you. Don't watch that too often, wasn't quite meant for... most.
