I wonder and sometimes worry. Herein lie those ponderings with perhaps some editing but still in their truer forms. Whisper as well, though in truth, whispers are just that, rustlings in the wind and nothing more. It is kind to not be alone with one's own whispers.

Dying here.
.
.
I can't do more. It's not even 14:00 and I am going to crash hard, now. Good night.
I'm not laughing at you. In this case, it's all "with". I don't think I would pass inspection myself. All I'm saying there.
I don't get the flu, I don't get colds, I don't get sick from bad food. I'm just almost always sick. Sometimes I wonder if it is Pestilence, maybe even Death, of the brothers, I should be identifying with, and not War. *grin* Ah, but it is War that I see, feel, resemble. Probably just that my brothers visit? Or we all have some... commonality?
My arthritis is a result of my immune system attacking my joints. And so, to keep the arthritis manageable, I've had to practically tear down my immune system via a drug regimen supervised by my rheumatologist. The good news is that the arthritis is fairly under control. The bad news is that, having practically no immune system, I'm susceptible to everything that comes along.
Fortunately, being a curmudgeon makes the whole situation a bit more tolerable. If I was more like, say, Pollyanna, I'd probably be a psychopath by now.
I wish I could give you some of my immunity. Alas, it too comes at a price.
I had to look up Pollyanna, but just the briefest of glances and I recalled. Yes, yes, I can see how that would... be a problem. For either of us. Thank God for doubt and pessimism! :)
Don't worry. Corpses have company. I'm finally managing to shake off a particularly bad flu but still feel like spoiled meat.
ReplyDeleteSpoiled meat! He made a funny!

I'm nothing if not occasionally amusing.
