Going to bed, eventually, at 6:00, meant that I am just waking.  Yeah, I heard the phone.  Little I could do about it.  Same with the alarm.  I'm about to shower then call my friend back.  Gah!  I hope he wouldn't mind an afternoon run.  Thursday, right?  Yeah, okay.  Ugh... to just... get going!  Hmm...  I better do laundry soon.  Clean clothes are become nearly as scarce as hen's teeth, not counting abominations. 
Medicine has been taken.  I keep forgetting night meds, of the pill form.  Odd, I don't forget it all.  Never mind.  Though that might be why mornings are so rough and why I have trouble sleeping.  While that stuff is good, once I am too level... as I am essentially... it does knock the speed tick down a bit.  Yeah, I'll... get on that.  But, first, today.  I need to get a shower before calling.  Otherwise he'll want me to go in as is.  Which, technically, is fine.  But... fine for other folk.  A shower, especially in day hours, but certainly since this would be the second day since a shower and this isn't an emergency.  Though it might cut into his nap time.  :p


Tomorrow, now that I have everything I need, I will begin painting the gun.  Heat paint on the barrel and inside of the foregrip, and probably a textured paint on the exterior of the foregrip.  It doesn't matter what color of texture, since it will simply be painted over.  So I will probably use the color I wouldn't normally favor.  Still... stone has a nice ring to it when doing camo, a real camo job.  Especially in these parts.  After having reviewed dozens, perhaps scores, of camo jobs on rifles, I have found what I think to be one of the best designs.  The colors can change, per season and such, but the job was excellent at breaking up the gun so that it was much less... realizable as such.  Too picky?  Specific technique?  Don't care, though it looks like he had fun with it.  I will use my methods, such as putting tp or kleenex under what I tape, and stuffing the barrel with tp rather than taping over it.  But, other than that, it looks excellent.  It really breaks up the rifle.  It's the lighter color that he uses, in stripes, that breaks the length and shape so well, to my eyes.  I'm definitely keeping this one on tap.  Now, that's not really a carry arm, either, so...  But I will keep the notions in mind when doing my paint job, as much as tiger stripe allows.
