Mostly gaming, lately.

.
.
No discussions, about this or that.  Nothing, really, to be said.  Besides, I'm busy.  Just life moving on.  I am just... more careful.  About everything.

Dark Souls 3, running four 'toons through.  Wanted to run a tank, thief, mage, and pyromancer through.  But the mage is so slow, especially with early kit, that I just ran two pyromancers through, with the idea of changing one to a mage, or battle mage, on the second run... when they have enough skills, spells, and equipment to run effectively.

I have been most surprised by both the tank and thief.  I figured they were going to be brutal to play.    Tricks, to both.  But nowhere near the nightmares I had anticipated.  Each has in-game mechanics which make play almost literally child's play.  You just have to learn them, then learn to trust them.  A lot less... calculus involved than I suspected.

Each boss is... a bit different.  Some more or less susceptible to one or other of the types.  Sometimes totally oppositional strategies, sometimes the exact same but with differing tools.  Mostly been gliding through, if some tweaking required per 'toon.

Only got stalled on one boss, but that was my, or a, mistake.  I was missing a level appropriate spell.  Which seemed to make that boss seem unbeatable.  So I ground levels on all of them.  Tried again, on that underpowered 'toon.  Kept failing.  Finally figured it out then blew all my now way overleved characters through easily.

But, it takes time, to run four characters through such a long, complex, sometimes difficult, game.  It may not be much, in the reals of the world.  But it keeps me awake.  At least I am not sleeping most hours of most days.  Will be burned out for awhile, possibly a very long while, when this project is completed.

Next, though?  Dark Souls 1, 2, then Elden Ring.   I bought, what I thought was a dlc for Elden Ring.  But it's just a speed run multiplayer trash wrongly billed as dlc.  Has very little to do with Elden Ring, not worth the bother.  Haven't even opened the packaging.  Next time I'll wait to see.  Can't trust anybody these days.  Then again, E.R., and all the dark souls games, have tried to trick or force you into online multiplayer, and especially pvp trash.  Just didn't realize how far they would push a lie.

Fasting, for a few days.  I was able to eat cold (then reheated or not) rice and potatoes.  My main problem was volume.  Controlling that.  Though that didn't mess up blood sugars or weight.  However, pasta is a no-go.  I am learning.  Though, too, my blood sugar has been below, say, an A1C equivalent of 5.6 or less for... two, nearing three years now.  I am no longer diabetic.  If I still need to keep an eye on things.

BP is elevated, slightly to moderately.  Gaming, I think.  Working on it, trying to control things.  Ugh.  Later.
