Some things.

.
.
I did a favor for mother today.  Her dresser, one of them, is a modular by part wire and connector jobby.  She... breaks it from time to time.  But she can't fix it.  She lacks the manual dexterity and strength.  Must admit, it does take some doing.

There is another job she put on my radar.  When I wake, if she is still awake.  I was about to install the ac in the livingroom.  But, when in the kitchen for else, I noticed she had left the back door open when she went out.  So... until we talk, and if she agrees to pay half the overage on electrical bill, with all the AC's running?  No ac in the livingroom.  The woman is incorageable.

I did install the second AC up here.  But will only be running one, or the other, most of the day.  The other will be a timed booster during high heat or my need.  I had the windows open, and ac's off, until just a bit ago.  Ugh.  Still, it's only 79 up here as they start to cool in tandem.  Hoping to get to the lower, or mid, 70s.

My right foot is hurting again.  Not as bad as it has.  But I am spending good due diligence with it.  Trying to keep from going lame in it, or having the affliction go to the other foot as well.  Yes I worry. It's not just the pain, though there is that.  It is the lack of mobility.  Being nearly unable to walk more than a stumbling hundred feet is awful.

Oh, and I reset my bed.  Trying just cotton blankets.  One. With one on standby, and a thicker third as a replacement or alternative addition to one of the thinner ones.  It's a lot of trouble keeping this old dying body as hale and healthy as possible.  I do my best.

I think it is about time to put Sassy down.  It just about kills me, to think or write about it.  But she constantly suffers, can barely walk, and "talks" to me all the time.  She is literally telling me it is time.  I know, I just... don't want to do this.  A terrible responsibility.  Weight.  I am thinking about where best to bury her.  Closer, to the house.  She wasn't a wanderer.  Gosh but that takes the wind out of me.

Well, on to sleep.  When I can.  Busy chewing on heartache.  Hard to rest.  Later, or good night.
