Breathing is still good but my sides ache again. They have for several days now. The pain is like the pain you get when winded, so not new. And I am sinking a bit. I suppose it is better than being unable to catch my breathe as a constant problem. I see cardiology next week, perhaps they can figure something out. I have been sleeping too much but needing every drop. Beside the usual sleep, I have been adding in long naps every other day. While I can fight to stay awake, the ability to think and act at those times is hugely diminished making it a mere exercise if futility and pain. I would rather sleep more and end up doing more than stretching consciousness for no more gain than merely being able to say I was "awake".
I have visitors coming today. I will be getting help setting up my weight system. Focus and bending are a problem, but the thing will much more easily be set up with more than two hands in any case. I don't know when I might start using the weights, but having it set up will make the opportunity costs minimal. While they are here, I might give a couple of lifts just to see... where I am at with that. The curl bar and dumbbells are fine, it's the barbell I need to test out. Probably not a problem strength wise, the problem would be breathing.
Well, a bit more cleaning, a shower, and getting ready for company seems like the thing. Later.
I slept an uncharacteristically long time under my desk this noon. I rarely manage to catch more than a 15 minute snooze before something wakes me.
ReplyDeleteI was out for two hours...
"Where's DC?"
"Don't know, haven't seen him for a while."
"Oh, there he is back at his desk."
"Huh. I didn't see him come back..."
*ahem*
I got a better pad and bigger pillow stuffed under there recently. Must have something to do with it...
It's good to be a cat. Better still, a prepared cat. *meo...zzz*
