.
I did, finally, get out last tonight. It was later than I had hoped and I couldn't sleep afterward. I purchased several new dishpans, a couple of smaller storage boxes for specific purposes, a smaller rug for near my computer (the old one is... ratty), and bagels and cream cheese. Nothing fancy. Though I needed most of those things, nothing was vital. Counting coup. The large storage box is actually going to be a bathtub based dishpan for my bigger pots, pans, and the roaster. Those things hang up my efforts to clean because they don't fit any of the sinks and I just have to talk myself into getting messy by cleaning those a corner at a time. I often end up soaked, too. Now I can cook to my heart's delight. To that end I have started soaking three pounds of beans for chili. I may offer my neighbors some, though it might be on the hotter side (even though I make it somewhat mild to my tastes). We will see.
I am also thawing that corned beef. I would like to make that. I couldn't eat all of that, either. But I know someone who might be interested. Pass a meal back once in a while, when I can. I love to cook, if I can't do it... on demand.
I may try to get out again tonight. I really need milk. As the seasons change, milk is coming back into fashion. In the winter I really don't drink, nor want to drink, as much. A gallon of whole milk a week at times, though often I can get two down. In the summer, three gallons is minimal. I don't feed the cats milk much anymore, since I learned it really isn't good for them. Sometimes only one or the other cat is interested anyway. Just a dab once in a while and they are happy. Sometimes I just share out of my cup.
While my days and nights seem to be getting confused, I am hoping to go ahead and get cracking on some of the heavier cleaning. Sweeping and mopping, picking up and vacuuming, and the bathrooms. I really need to figure my main bathroom out, it seems to be getting plugged far too often. I have a lousy plunger, but it does seem to do the trick, after great effort, for now. So I don't think it is roots. Still, a good 20' snake, or longer, might be needed. A professional plunger would be nice too. I've looked for the good plungers both locally and a bit in Ogden, to no good ends. For whatever reason I just can't seem to find one. I may have to order online.
I also need to get in for a haircut. I sort of like this, as I have said.

With my hair having been able to grow out over the winter it might be easier to shape like this. Now, that haircut is a bit extreme, and would take weekly care to maintain, so I am hoping for something slightly... less exotic. Just a practical similarity. I still like the video that shows off the hair a bit better. Of course, the dame in it tain't all bad. Filipino? Interesting look, and she certainly is a fun character in the movie.
A shower, a bit of cleaning prep, then off to town, I hope. Later.
