.
I went downstairs. The trip was still a bit of a hobble, but wasn't abandonedly agonizing. It wasn't simple, normal, or even painless though either. I did go out to bring Jasmine in. I wanted some fresh air, and to take a few more steps. Not a lot, just a few.
Supper, gaming, not much else. While the pain was bearable, it went well beyond my typical ability to block the sensations. From the few efforts I put forward, I was sweating profusely from the amount of pain that I could consciously feel. I... do wonder how much pain my body shields my conscious mind from. Though I probably... really don't want to know.
Strangely, there is something good about suffering. Both on the surface, and down underneath where I can only roughly know the levels. That sort of pain causes BP to elevate, persperation to trickle (or run), and a few other things. Add felt pain, and it... really adds up. I've neared going into shock a few times recently. Sort of cool, to be able to... sort that out.
I think I may have been nearly literally addicted to pain, at once. You don't get to benching 600 a half dozen times or more, weighing 240, without some tolerance and even preference for pain. Just the truth... assuming my memories are true. They are what I have to work with, and... match current... aptitudes?
Tried to get back to bed. It just isn't going to happen. Too much sleep, too recently. That and not enough pain to cause my body to try to run away, shut it all down, pump natural painkillers which crash me out to deal with... the hurting things, or those out of control. So? A bit of cleaning and clearing up here. Then on back to gaming.
Maybe a shower. I've been trying to keep shaven and brushing my teeth better... when, as, possible. Trying.
Yes, just a bit of work, then gaming. Possibly the folding clothes rack up too. If possible. And, something to eat. Later.
