Sleeping late.

.
.
To bed after midnight and I couldn't call on the sandman right away either. I figured it would be tough falling to sleep, and getting up, so I set the alarm for 10:00. Even then it took a half an hour to pull myself out of the sack. All good. Thankfully today is a day of rest. With an off and on last week, but doing some really good work and jumping hurdles almost like I knew what I was doing, the rest is not a want but a need. Just one day though.

Tomorrow I have to find out when I can get someone to take a look at the problem and offer a cost analysis. I am almost 100% certain I could do it. The thing is I might easily, at this point, miss some serious issues. While I did replace the plumbing under the sink I didn't note the need for a vent, for example. Just... not sure right now. I also have to take my tux back, and depending on the above, I promised to get my friend to Ogden to shop for reloading parts.

Of course, I have other things I need to get back on course with, or start in the first place. I will probably begin swimming sometime this week. I can go anytime earlier in the week as I will probably only go two days a week until I am doing better. And, hiking would be good to start. Just a hike a week. I don't need to sprint the path, try for world class trail times or even try to increase my own speed or distance. I just need to get out, see what that is about, and begin the long journey to some level of trail competency. There is some business, too. And Mass would be good to begin getting too. I don't know about three or four times a week, not quite yet. Adding in too much too fast, and I may already be, will definitely end in a severe crash and sooner rather than later. Like those little boys who play so very hard then drop and sleep where they are, sometimes without bothering to even actually lay down. I saw one boy, standing up, with his head on the cushions of a couch, sleeping. Yeah, like that. And yet, while I am going, I want to get some things done, some things in there, and enjoy myself a bit too.

Looks like my lawn has been mowed again. When I balked about the idea of doing it Wednesday I think the father thought I was worried about being nickeled and dimed. No, it's just that my end of things and need were on my mind. I'm going to try to keep up with the kid, and the twice a week regimen is going to be a tough time, perhaps. So, I was just hoping that time wasn't upon me. If I didn't want to say it outright. Fear is an ugly thing to share.

Well, on to a bit of research, perhaps some cleaning, sopping the bathroom a bit as the tank finished emptying again overnight, but first a bit more waking up. The last few days have been such a sprint that... little will be done today, and nothing will be done in a hurry. Still, I am pleased to have gotten it done. Oh, and I notice I was not the only one who ended up being a short-timer in this. The nice thing, too, is that some of the previous "upper class-men" in the KoC and another of my peers as I joined and went further through the ranks, locally, were joining the 4th degree this time. It just makes it feel more like a peer group, somehow, than being a pure Padawan learner type.

Good day.
