The hour is late.

Time flies so swiftly.  Twas only morning a bit ago, was it not?  Aye, but much has happened this day contrasted with other recent days.  A bit of business, a bit of socializing, a bit of shopping, and some money issues tended, all to the easing of a wandering spirit trying to find a place to settle.  There is much to do, yet, much to do indeed.  What will happen and when is a guess only Nemo would be sure to answer rightly.

While in town today a blood pressure station presented itself.  Upon tossing those bones the prognostication was good, 174/101, much better than recently.  That might be checked in the morn, after waking and medicine.  A suspicion remains that as those numbers fall work will go forward more surely.  So too will play and maybe exercise.  Life just seems easier, whether it is the medicine itself, the lowered bp, a mix of the two, or something else entirely will never be known.

Tomorrow, it is hoped, a bit of work will take place.  Laundry and dishes and digging should do nicely.  No promises can be made to that affect, and only hope with a bit of faith and a sense of things are what such predictions are based upon.  Who knows?

There is a movie coming out, or it is out, which might be worth a watch.  It pertains to a recent bit of Mexico's recent past in which religious freedom came under attack.  It is an history that is known to a degree, here.  Though the memory of what was gleaned in books about that time have become foggy at best.  What makes the movie potentially interesting, and prevalent, is that the same sorts of minor restrictions upon religion that started the war then are similar to the restrictions happening today.  What happened next was an increase in restrictions, the creation of laws of greater consequence on to the near banning of religion, a theft by the state of Church lands, then on to the murder of both clerics and laity.  Whether the revolt was successful or not is unknown, in memory.  Then again, the historic authenticity of the movie is not known either.  How to check the latter without undoing the former?  Then again, if the movie is false, does it matter?  Only if it is basically accurate does the research become a potential spoiler.  It has been said that the movie is neither just about freedom of religion nor only about Catholics.  The general was agnostic.  He was merely interested in the generalities... being a general and all.  Never mind.  But the war was a fight for religious and standard freedoms.  Something, to a reasonable understanding, that could be said to be intertwined.

The bed looks good.  Sleep sounds wonderful.  Work needs to take place and sleep will lend to that.  Early to bed, early to rise, the faster to die?  No, but like marriage, perhaps it seems so?  May you sleep well tonight, or tomorrow as the case may be from here to there, tonight (or tomorrow).  Or... whatever.  Who wrote this, that was terrible!  Bah.  Good night.
