Oh, strawberry and fresh rhubarb pie, from my patch! The rhubarb anyway. Yeah, diabetes... shut up. Like I eat much sugar my whole existence otherwise. Blood sugar, after the pie, was 222. It sounds like my doctor is set to preach the sermon on that when I go it. It seemed I would be talking to the nurse, but that got changed. My A1C must be high, or something. I suppose I'll have to come clean that I had to cut metfornan, or whatever. I couldn't handle both med-additions, wasn't sure which was the problem, so cut the 'met' since hbp/heart is the main, primary, most serious concern. Triage, baby. And that did work. I was able to kick a leg out and get to my feet after that and a bit of time. I won't risk going back on it with so much still on my plate. Once the bathroom is set, the trees are trimmed, and my mother is safely on her way, I may give that another go. It's as good as I can do. I simply, being alone, cannot afford to go down.
By the way, this work with my mother, once I put my foot down on some things, isn't busting my chops. I shouldn't even need a break when she goes. I will keep going on other projects hereabouts. There will be enough to do to keep me busy for a while. Tossing in hikes to the reservoir should empty the batteries, to top things off. Things that don't cost money, because I just don't have that much money. But I do have a chainsaw, sawsall, drills, other tools, some supplies, bits and pieces, some ideas, and such. Something odd about my water delivery system. The sink is soft water, so my mother says, but the shower isn't? I've been adding hardness levels to the programming, but that hasn't seemed to help. Just stepping it up though. Not sure, perhaps hands are more sensitive to soft water? And I'll like to get the sink to a full flow again. It's not terrible, it just isn't tops/normal.
This morning, starting out in the garden then moving to the water heater when done. I'll get the hose(s) out there, plants, but first I'll put on something to keep me from crisping. That sun will just cook me without full cover clothing and/or sunscreen. I'll get to try that new stuff I bought. I best get going before she has another tantrum. "You don't love me, and you hate me, and you use me, and...". It was two minutes, mom. Hehehehe She can be seriously melodramatic. Later.
