Not bad.

.
.
I have never reheated corn on the cob before.  I simply assumed, unless you cut it off the cob and added it to something, it just wouldn't work.  Actually it does.  I simply added water to the cooking pot, got that to a boil then turned it off, added the ears and let them stand in the cooling water for ten minutes, and... about as good as fresh.  I don't think you would be able to tell the difference.  Now I know.  You don't, but you have my opinion.  And, yes, I am really picky.  Oh, sure, if it had been rough, I would have eaten it... but I would have known.  No need to fib.

After that I figured out how to do some minor office tech to do continue some business I have going on.  This time I got it to work.  They offered a couple of methods.  One wasn't available as an option on my devices, the other is not considered safe (using my smartphone).  I did it my way.  Shush, it worked.  Then I called a utility to arrange some things.  Having figured out how that all is going, I was then able to .net my bank and make some changes there.  Really... not bad.  Not sure if I will get to the kitchen, but it's on my mind.  I do hope to research freezing corn, and maybe calling my mom later too.  I don't always go her way.  Usually.  On this, I might try her way, and the next best idea I can believe.  Sometime, often, people really overwork things "because someone said so".  Sometimes things really are 'that easy'.  Sometimes not.  I look for ease and efficiency in many ways, but only if the results warrant the ease.  Otherwise I find what it takes and either do it or decide it is too much hassle and go another way.

It's not perfect, but today is good so far.  I even woke earlier than I have been for much of the week.  It just clouded over, too.  It's a state holiday here, so the banks aren't open, or I would go in.  Sure, .net open, just not main or other branch.  I'll finish my business with them Monday.  Even if things have slowed a bit, this summer has been quite good.  Now to push on cleaning, or getting out for hiking or kayaking or... shooting.  Almost anything.  Perhaps on the next really cool day, unless that 'floods the engine'.  :p  Later.
