A drip under the sink, which I noticed not long ago but was trying to ignore... until I was an old smaller waste basket that had no other use. A marriage made in a tinkerer's mind. Not so bad of a leak, but with reverse osmosis and a twelve pot coffee maker it adds up splendidly quickly. Still, it's fixed. I simply have to remember to check the level and empty it often enough. Whether I go or stay, there are some things I would like to fix or have fixed before I go. A pride thing? Passing on a hidden gift? Something. I don't want them to find the problems that I inherited or made. I can't do it all, but some things. I would like a plumber to look at the drain system, and fix it. Whatever it is. And to look at the input plumbing, as my kitchen sink faucet fails every winter/spring. Shouldn't... three faucets, all with solid reviews, each of different price markets... from just middling to what was supposed to be sterling... almost literally. Bleh.
I did wash the last of the dishes, drying and putting up some of it so far. Some remains to do. Oh, and I took the pot and utensils used to make ghee, rinsed and soaped those for a wash. Those are so few I should be able to wash them again, rinse, and finish with the other dishes.
I also have things prepped for tortilla making. All I really need to do is boil water in the microwave, mix that in, kneed the dough for a bit, let it set, and begin prepping for the last parts. I should have that done in an hour. I am resting, after wrangling the dishes, checking a few projects... such as seeing if the ghee was cool enough to put the lid on tight, or even put in the refrigerator. I just don't like putting hot things in there, never works well.
Bit by bit things are getting done. It seems as if the sun sparkled through the clouds and my curtains, but just long enough for me to notice. A long but not too long second look sees that the world is going back to overcast. So be it. I'll keep working. The painpills and a little extra heat seem to be double teaming my doldrums, breezing me into function... some anyway. Later.
