Cool, still.

It's already 10:30.  But it is only 63 out there still.  Not cloudy, that is smoke, mostly, I think, still.  It is rather cool in here, as well... just 70 to 72 around down here.  Dressing more warmly is helping, but I really need the warm drinks.  I had to have a coffee, two teas in a row was a bit much.  Oh, and I finished off that three milk gouda (cow, sheep, and goat).  If I didn't mention, it got down to 38 this morning, the coldest I saw it.  Not a terrible surprise, this time of year.  Just a bit of one.  And, more due to the smoke than anything else.  Still, it's... chilly, cold really.

I am adoring that cheese.  I'll go with an 8.5.  Which, to be honest, is as good of a cheese as I have tasted.  I could only imagine what a ten would taste like.  Or... even... what it would mean?  Yes.  A woman, who is a ten?  I usually an eight, decked out, and available.  Only a ten in part by putting on her party dress, being available (literally), and my interest at the point.  And... I don't consider most models to be tens.  Too skinny.  Though most American women are a bit thick.  Too thick, these days.  But that's a different issue.  And... just saying.  Nice?  If you came here for nice, you... have to have known better.  Doom isn't a nickname.

Hey, I don't eat cats?  Well, no.  But... at once, a relatively common moniker of them?  Ah, but that doesn't count.  *cough*

I think, if this weather continues, I will had an extra leg layer, longjohns of some sort.  And socks.  I'll try to gear up, and keep the house cooler.  They say I spent more in electricity this month than this month last year.  But I am doubting them.  I am sure I used two ac's at a time, last year.  I should go look, see.  But they may be stacking regular payers to cover for those who are not paying.  Socialism rears it's ugly head everywhere.  You don't think the non-payers are getting free electricity, do you?  No, no they are not.  If you pay, regularly, you may well be paying for them.

Not sure there is a way, with the government as it is, to escape that, even if you can't really afford it.  No way, unless you could figure out how to go off-grid.  But that'll cost more than it is likely worth, in a number of ways, including up-front.  Heating?  I suppose you could go back to wood burning, or even coal if you could get your hands on it.  But you'd smell like smoke, and have serious risks.  So...  I don't know.  But, no, I don't trust them on this.  At all.

You did hear about Colorado energy company, taking over the "smart" meter involved thermostats?  I bet people try to get rid of those, but I don't think it works that way.  Once it is in, it is there to stay.  And, currently, there might not be another option even available.  I wonder if any elders had health emergencies from the heat?  Would be worth a lawsuit or three, or dozen.  Though with energy being partly government, and with courts becoming statist, I'm... not sure those would go anywhere.

Well... On to something.  Maybe some more gaming.  Trying to warm with the coffee.  Not cold, but not warm, certainly not hot.  Bleh.  Later.
