It looks like a pressure washer just won't work.  In a term, head pressure... the height a pump can lift water.  On a flat, or nearly flat, surface?  Some pressure washers might work.  With a ten foot lift not so much.

The problem with most pumps, is that they are submersibles.  Which, is fine, if you don't mind flooding your floor.  I would rather not.  Perhaps I have found one which can work that way, and another way.  Have to look it over.  Not certain.  It would be good to have the submersible, for other sorts of problems, but for standard events, want one with more options.

I'll get some coffee in me, finally.  Then make a call.  If that fails, then move on to other forms of research.  Well, and I'd like to figure out... beyond the parts needed and the pump, perhaps how to set up shutoff valves, and maybe a faucet down there.  So I wouldn't have to go out to shut the water off and drain the water upstream of everything, mostly.  Always going to be some water in there.  Always something.
