Doing well.  A bit dark out there?  Yes and no.  It seemed darker earlier, but it... changes, often.  Now it is mostly clear, but there is a haze.  It has the feel of fall, but of course isn't.  Smog?  Or just... humidity build up?  Or... something else?  Fires somewhere, the smoke ending up here?  Not sure.

Beef and beans, this morning.  Made hot.  Nothing fancy, hot as in spicy.  I... miss hot food when I haven't had it for a while.  I don't even turn red, eating carolina reaper sprinkles, with cayenne for a side flavor profile.  Love that stuff.  I need it a few times a week, really.  Oh, once in a while I will get a runny nose.  But I think that is more from the pepper, or the dust of the spices when I add them.

Bills!  I didn't realize it was already the first until... well... until I did.  My mother called me this morning.  She is home, and happily.  Oh, she had a wonderful visit.  Maybe her last.  I hope not.  But... time, she passes.  And takes things with it.  Even so, I don't worry about that.

Just happy she got out, saw her girls grow up, visited the family, and an in-law who remains.  Traveled, and mostly well.  Bumpy flying on the way home.  But she had a nice visit with a younger woman on the way home, too.  It's all give or take.  Glad to hear that she is gone, and back, safe and sound.  Tired?  I should hope so.  Octogenarians tire easily.  A cross country flight, and all the doings, and a return?  Home, sometimes, seems boring.  Until... you get out for a bit.  Still, pleased to see the old girl still has it.

Moving on with the game.  It's something.  Can't do much else.  So very tired, still.  Improving, as night and day have shifted to a better position, so I am not pushing much at all.  Still want to make it awake until 17:00, or so.  And, if possible, to keep that as my bedtime, most of the time.  Only if I need help, and that is when it is available, will I be awake later.  Oh, crap.  I can't do that.  Church... for one thing.  And a meeting a month.

I have heard nothing from the KoC about the incident.  So, unless that is sorted, that is over.  There is still, potentially, the other meeting.  I do need to find the paperwork for that.  Ugh.  Can barely stand.  But, so be it.

It was 66 about half an hour ago.  I am sure it is far warmer now.  Not sure what is coming up, but last I looked, it was generally trending back to summer temps.  Slowly, bumpily, but... on the way.  It has been a fine fall of a spring!  :).  Oh, it has been around 70 ~ 71 in here all morning.  Near the computer it is now 73.  Still, rather pleasant for this time of the year.

On back to gaming.  Oh, I suppose I'll feed Sassy again.  She doesn't get much, but she does eat many times a day.  Every two to three hours, she gets a portion of her can, and some treats... five or six.  I overfed her for the last few days, as my schedule was so rough.  But, now that, hopefully, it is smoothing out, I won't feed her feed bag and a half anymore.  I try to work with her.  When my schedule is going crazy, I feed her extra for the... inconvenience.  I try to tend the little one, treat her fairly.
