The West is dying. Multiculturalism is one of the diseases. Some will quibble, those who have some sort of agreement, that multiculturalism is merely a symptom. That debate, while reasonable, is not the crux of today's thoughts. The question is, how will and how should multiculturalism be handled. There are many ways to deal with it. Most will seem draconian in modern parlance. Sentiment, mood, and common thought have been poisoned by those who support egalitarianism and the rest of that. Most people have had this idea crammed into their forced integration minds beyond what their own eyes tell them. They believe even though they know it is not true.
Segregation, as I mentioned the other day, is gaining steam. Not a lot of steam, and it hasn't gone mainstream. But all it will take is a match. Something I realize is that segregation is not a functional means of dealing with the situation over the long term. It is no more a solid answer than what we have today, though it could be a functional short term political and social device in resetting the world as we know it. And, yes, it can be done. It would require, most likely, marshal law. There are always... questions... about martial law. But again, this is not the main crux of the notion. Nor is it required for a solid, workable, long term solution.
The solution I propose is to use the laws of those who do not adhere to Western methods and laws on them, though not in their way, but ours. For example, sharia law places non-muslims into a second class citizenship. Neither are they fully protected by the law nor are they allowed to participate in the laws, some business potential, or government either through voting or holding office. What I propose, for muslims, is that they be held to the same situation, though it be based on whether they are Christian since that is the local majority. All of sharia laws would bind muslims in America but be based on our norms and customs. It would be giving them their cake and us eating it. For Europeans, I suppose it would have to be based on atheism, socialism, or some such.
How long would that stay as an active part of our legal system? As long as we have people living here in large number who wish to subvert our systems. Any group, socialists, communists, atheists, who chooses to change our system to their system would be held to their ideals. People would get to choose... American or something else first. If they choose something else first, our laws would accommodate their lifestyle. You are a socialist, you say? Then you have no property rights and would be taxed according to socialist national averages, for example.
Oh, it would never fly. But that isn't always the point. It WOULD work, but then when has our government ever done anything that does work? Other than, of course, what is good enough for government work.
