Oh, Lord, do abide me.

.
.
I just realized... I am only on half the dose I need to get to in the medicine that tears me up.  No, no, not this time.  I'll... raise it the rest of the way next time I refill medicines, in two weeks...  If I am still doing as good as the last few days, or thereabouts.  That is going to hurt, all over again.  This is some potent stuff folks.  Now I understand, when I let them, they titrate that up over a six month to year time span.  Ah well, I'll... live.

I need to prep a bit for it.

I know the score.

I know I will make it through.

I'm just not ready for the trek today.

  1. Yes well, considering their usual procedure, no reason to push beyond your body's ability to tolerate the drop in BP.

You paid a price for falling off the med regime. No reason to kill yourself trying to get back on it. Six months between upping the dose? Yeah, give it a week or two at least with you properly adjusted to the dose you're on.

And...don't do this again! Too dangerous.

  2. Painful, yes. Dangerous? I honestly don't think so. I think women are more dangerous. And I mean that. Finding a woman to marry would be riskier to my health. Which, actually, wouldn't be all that risky. Again, just painful.

I'm surprised God didn't give us some warning and give them porcupine quills, or something. *grins* Then again, I do have a... way with women. At least so that if the relationship doesn't kill me, most of my women have truly considered doing that as an aside. And yet they never leave. (My last, I'll remind you, just wouldn't marry, so I left.)
