I've known my share.

.
.
Dunno, just daydreaming as I was going through my last few days.  Something was bubbling up.  Then I saw a song and thought, oh, so... that's the deal.  Yeah.  Those I have known have been mild to maximum.  I have learned that, save for some of the special cases, to know one is to choose or make one.  Every once in a while there is one just because.

They all play with it.  It's in their nature.  Some of it is biological, chemical, psychological, social, and more.  Some of it is choice.  Some of it is very logical, in fact, if not always in practicums.  All share some of this.

Some are a very special breed.  It's in them, but in a way that really isn't too difficult to deal with, once you know what you are dealing with.  At least... for some of us.

Some of them are especially profound in it, but in another way.  Oh, she'll kill ya boys.

And then there is the just plain wicked.  I do think some are cursed.  Whether by choice or not is another question.

And there is the one I have mentioned before.  The glass sometimes hides, sometimes shows, her.  Between them all, I know about that which I speak.

Oh yes.  I sure have been contemplating, daydreaming... and chuckling.  Digging holes, but that's what dogs do, innit?  Took a bit to put it all together.  Not sure there is a point.  Though, in more than one ways I am trying to fix my predicament.  While 99 is fine, 100 might just be divine.  Though between choosing and making, perhaps I can skip out on some of the worst of it?  *wink*

  1. I guess it's a guy thing .. or more specifically a Doomster thing.

  2. Perhaps. I wrote two paragraphs of this and that and decided to just go with your comment. Pithy. It does... bug me a bit. Still, seems there is an itch on both sides of this event. All I will advise is... when you read and listen? Just think, and figure out, *great laughter*. And pray that, should I fall again, into a woman's arms, that I will... bring the lessons forth and... not repeat the past, or all of it. *wink*

Are you avataring one of the musical great types? I know that picture, but can't place it. Not Bach? Who... Grhhh! Hate it when memory is weak.

  3. Yes, I am! And it is Bach :-)

And I did listen to most of the musical selection offered and read and thought .. a bit :-)

  4. Oh, I assumed you had listened and divined. That you didn't get a one-off grin about it, considering you are a woman (thus one-off) is what... bothers me. If you have never seen Doom play, you have now for sure. Though, not always is it I who is the shark, mind you... to a degree. Still, mostly. I suppose I shouldn't be so surprised you don't have even a one-off grin. Then again, the one's I was a shark with are ones that deserved it. Not sure, at all, that is you. So... Still, getting through all that to a chuckle might be asking a bit much. *wink*

Oh, it twere Bach? Well, bless my warmblooded dark soul! (Yes, great whites are warmblooded, in case you didn't know.) Even discounting, I did hit the mark. Noice!

  5. I read it with one eyebrow raised.. Or something close to that. I can't actually raise one eyebrow.

  6. I go around, most of life, with one eyebrow almost permanently raised. Half because everything arouses curiosity, half because much of what doesn't, and even much of what does that first, also makes me laugh. And yet I have been told I should laugh or always ask, thus the eyebrow raising. The eyebrow raised means one of two things, or both. I think Spock also had that problem, minus the funny bone part of it. I was not weened on a dill pickle, perhaps?

Now, I am not sure what causes you to, if virtually, raise an eyebrow. Though it seems to be for different reasons? *raising eyebrow, looking at you* *grins*

  7. Got to admit, I was expecting your response, from what I understand of it, from most dames. I just thought you understood a bit better. That... may not be possible. Hell, most men don't get me. A few, very few, do. Most such men aren't social enough to bother reading a blog. And I, being what I am, only blog because my ability to get and go is busted and broken, mostly. Sort of like a bug stuck in amber. It's the only way some will ever know my kind exists. *wink*

I am enjoying the conversation. And trying to figure out your meaning, and more general notions. I don't understand, precisely, your exact side of things, perhaps. Though I am all ears, or eyes in this case. Teach if you will. Learn if you want. Can't do either without the other, I don't think.

  8. I think I get you, .. at least what's on the blog anyway. Even the anger, although I stay away from it. And there's much I don't necessarily agree with, but I know when arguing is futile .. Smirk.. Plus, I do enjoy the occasional banter.
And I'm getting sleepy. It's been early to bed for me lately .. well, not as early as your bedtimes. Those just confuse me :-)

  9. Someone, and I suspect you, keeps looking at posts about 'her'. Perhaps it confuses you. But she deserted me. And, after burying her and her's, I walked away for decades. She was the worst of all that I knew. So... yeah. I wouldn't place bets on 'her' saving or changing me on this. Still a bit sore and angry on that score.

Even so, I was mostly having a funny moment, but if you challenge, you will learn.

  10. I've looked at this post a few times since it has the music and I don't usually listen to all of it at once. But anyway .. now the grumpy big kitty brought forth a chuckle on my part. :-)

  11. You are definitely a very strange bird sometimes. I think it's genetic for sure. From *cough* your mother's side, naturally. *shakes head*

  12. You may have proven a construct point. While writing this post I thought the self-same thing. *wink*
