Dinner was fine.

.
.
Along with dinner yesterday, this meal really helped.  I ate about as much as was indicated in that video.  I am using probably that much in beans, but then with two pounds of hamburger.  Well, and cheese, onions, and an half gallon of milk, so...  I probably have another couple of meals from that.  Which is better than I thought.  It's not keto, but I... needed more than what keto offered.  My body demanded more.

Now, until this is digested, I won't be doing windsprints.  I have been looking into a couple of topics of interest while cooking and now handling dinner.

I have a couple of chips in my bathroom tile.  Frustrated... I... never quite thought that such a thing could be fixed.  I thought the whole plate would have to be removed, a new plate found (the previous owners did leave some in the basement, so good there), and then I would have to figure out installation.  The thing is, and actually there are several, the chips simply aren't that bad.  Dime sized, or partially dime sized, the biggest, with one or two others being just minor scratches.  Well, for whatever reason, I thought about looking up repairing it tonight.  And there is a way.  I will look at the colors in there, well, with various lighting, to try to make a very solid memory of the color(s) which might be needed.  I do think my tiles are very similar, so taupe and white should work.  Though, unlike him, I may find a clear undercoat, or mass enhancer for nails, in an attempt to fill the divot.  Plus my toenails could sure use a coat.  :p  Hmm?  Shut up.

While on the matter, I started wondering about tiling the en suit.  Now that tools are coming together, and the weather is nearing the point where a bit of work in there would be great, especially for getting to use the ac, I began looking over just what I might want in there.  It is so small that I could use almost anything and not break the bank.  Gold and silver are out, but marble, if I wanted it, would be possible.  Heck, I could probably practice with heating the tile... save maybe the wiring, unless that just hooks up to an outlet, in parallel... or the other way?  If so, maybe.  I can do simple things, just not, or not quite yet, a major electrical task.  Anyway... Of course, before I do that, I need to removed the mirror, remove the vanity, clear everything else out before that... including the old toilet, strip the floor down and check the subfloor... there... is a bit to do, but it is eminently doable.  Oh, and I wish to install at least one floor drain, and probably hook that (or those) up to the main drain.  So, videos about installing different flooring, and some other notions, were watched.  Too early to share those, as nothing is set in stone on that yet.

Something else, even then?  Yes.  Wiring.  I would like to check the cave out.  There are some outlets that do not work.  Some are very inconvenient by their failure.  I also want to go around checking outlets for ground, and all the other jazz.  I am doing minor research on running lines, checking these things, and how to fix things.  I may see if I can get a volunteer to help me map the wiring... which outlets to which breakers.  At least, now, I understand that since the service uses breakers, there is a good probability that the electrical is... better, newer.  People can and do slap good over bad and ignore.  It is just less likely, and probably not as easy to do without a problem popping up sooner rather than later?  Anyway, I'd like to check things out, add a few outlets, fix a few outlets, and check for general problems.  I have having as little as one outlet per bedroom, or only one two walls in a larger room or three.  MORE!  Plus, it will give me experience working with electricity... getting my feet wet while breaking a leg.  Woot!

While running wire is as fun as pulling teeth, knowing how to fix drywall makes that prospect a lot better.  I don't know about the spackling... texturizing... of walls.  But I can figure that out.  I can make wonderful patches that can't be noticed.  I have learned to get matching paint.  I am even learning sneakier ways to do patches.  I learn, look, study, and stumble onto new stuff all the time.  I have the time.  Some of it I have even put to practice, so it's not like it's empty data.

Oh... nap time, or soon.  I sure needed that food, and will need more.  Later.
