.
I had some returns to make. And, needed food. If it hadn't been so late I would have taken propane tanks in too. Just wasn't sure they would be open. And... there is a limit to what I can do in a day.
While in town, though, I picked up a few burritos. Not carnivore. But, at this point, I need food and will have to just not be so picky. The griddle will be back on track soon.
Food is good. Five of the last seven days? I went without. And, the two days I had food, it was just soup. One can for two days. So... yes... food!
I am hoping to clear the freezertop, to take stock of stores, pull some. Probably won't thaw any? Or... maybe. Or put a few steaks and a burger pack in the fridge to slowly begin the process... pulling them to the counter when I get the propane in. I am, finally, thinking I might be hungry for meat again.
Oh, and another thing? The other day, just a few days ago, I had been back up to 240. I was... a bit down about that. I told myself it was just water, fluid. And that... it would all be okay. Then, two days ago, when I weighed in, I was down, slightly, to 236.8 or such. Which... was lightly better.
Today, after wearing longer but only medium and short heavier compression gear, weight was down to 229.6. Which isn't that far from my lowest (so far), of 224. And, I can tell I have a lot more fluid to be removed. So, I might get back to my low, if I can keep up, and increase compression usage. I might even be below 220. Will see in a few days, to a week.
Yes, that... feels better. Life can come at you fast. Can never be sure just how to take it. With a touch of hope, some faith, and... such. Can't win this game. Don't have to lose it. Won't survive it. Might even have a life of pain before you die. But? Even that isn't all that bad. Later.
