I got everything done except the laundry. It IS in the vehicle. But I did do something that was not on the list. My tires were low, according to the vehicle. Someone suggested it was the cooling, but I do not think so. All of the tires were down 15 to 20 pounds. No, someone was messing with them. One tire, maybe two, down 5 to 7 pounds, sure. But not all of them down that much. If they fall again, I will have to take it in and check the seals or for other damage. I am about to visit my ex-neighbor and see if he wants to get out too. Oh, but I best clean and oil my rifle a bit. It sure got sticky. Odd, it was not really cold and it has not dropped below freezing in the apartment where it has been stored. *grumble*
It is good to be going again. The body is still a bit cranky but after those hundred pounders, everything else feels quite light and is not straining at all. I still have a number of weights to move, but I will save those for this coming week and over the whole of the week. I am actually taking care of things in a timely manner now. It is so very good to be willing AND able, when I am that is. I even did something else extra. While I was preparing to shower, I decided to clean the tub and toilet. I do like that to be clean. Once a week or so, if not on Saturdays or Wednesdays as I thought I would plan. Just when I notice and have the time, at the same time. Whatever, as long as it gets done often enough that I do not get too annoyed.
By the way, I am totally ignoring the latest Quota Boy quota material. It is covered everywhere and better than I could or would. I did not need more evidence, but it seems it keeps rolling in. I will not even comment on it. The story is it's own comment.
Well, off to see to the rifle then go out for a bit of sport. Have a great day!
Getting back in good form again, I see. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteYou really are doing well. Makes me very happy for you. *s*
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I got everything on my list except laundry, but added in some things too. Shooting was good, but it was a bit colder up there than last time. NOW a couple thousand feet extra elevation makes a world of difference.
Yep, I have been able to get up after every fall, so far, and rather quickly. Even with my 3 second fish memory, I know this is a good thing.
I have to futz with my .22 bolt-action rifle to see what is up with it. I dispatched a raccoon last week in the early dawn hours and the blasted thing was not ejecting/reloading properly when I needed it to. It was too dark to see what the problem was, and I have not gotten back to it since then.
ReplyDeleteThis was a good reminder to put that on my list for this weekend.
Darned things. And I know guys, even a crack competition shooter, who do not clean their rifles, ever. The crack shot has 35,000 rounds through his uncleaned bolt action (or the one he kept track of, or uses the most), honestly. *grumble* But, glad to be of service!
ReplyDeleteLaundry can always wait, well as long as you have clean clothes lying around. :)
ReplyDeleteYep! I hate doing my dirty laundry in public. My next place has laundry in house! And I have about 40 pair of unders, which are what I worry about the most, and half of them are still clean (well, as clean as a bachelor and bleach can get them, some of them are... well, how old are you?). I can, have, and do regurgitate dirty pants and shirts. No one knows! (Well, they might... I LOVE polite people! Ha!)
