I am doing laundry but I realized trash needed to be taken out. That ended up being more of a chore than what it seemed at first glance. No, garbage was easy. But I had a bunch of boxes to break down, half of them with heavy staples to be removed first. And there were plenty of boxes. I got what I could. Add in that the world is NOT cooling. It is 78 F at 10:45 in the house. I knew it was a warm one, I just didn't realize how hot I guess. I have the fans going, but the outside isn't all that cool either. I may have opened the house a bit too soon. Then again, perhaps it really didn't matter. Sometimes, no matter how you do things, it just gets hot.
The girls were out all night last night. Then they wouldn't come in this morning. Just now they finally decided to come in. Sassy acted like she couldn't remember if this was her house, and was afraid to come in. I almost wonder if she didn't go in some other door and find herself quite unwelcome! She is still a baby, in many ways. And one door looks a lot like another door to her. She is only a bit over a year old though, she is doing better than I was at a year old. I just hope she survives long enough to come into her own.
I don't believe I will get to dishes tonight. It is too hot, I have done too many other things, and I actually still need to go to town. I forgot to do a bit of shopping. Gatorade, ice, soda, milk, and foods of various minor sorts. Just enough food to see me through a week or so, should be good. I have been thawing, then tossing meat. Between this, that, and the other thing, I forget or have too much else going to get to cooking. And with so many dirty dishes, well. Another soak, tonight, and I will have dishes as my primary work project tomorrow. Every single one of them, if I can.
I am hoping to take two bike rides tomorrow as well. I am not sure I will be able to get them both in. A ride in the morning, when it is cool, before a shower. Then a shower, dishes, maybe a bit of straightening, and either a nap or a longer cooldown. Then, in the afternoon when the world cools, another ride. I am not using enough muscle to worry about straining them at this point. All I am doing is extending stamina. It will probably take a good two weeks to a month of riding to even begin working muscle? Something like that. Then again, my heart will be a bit of a limiter too. We will see.
The rest of the week? I really want to get some of the metals picked up, tree limbs tended and either set aside for the stove or piled for removal, I best start watering the lawn and weed whipping and mowing. I also need to begin cleaning up for my mother, so her visit is more fun than work. It should be cooler when she is here. I also need to visit SLC, to put in my permit application in person, paying in cash. I can't swear that makes the process faster or more sure. I just think it is the best way. So many other things to do, too. A hike or two, maybe. Perhaps reloading a box or two of various powders for when I do buy a chronograph. So many things, so little real time when it comes down to it. But... I'm... on it. I really am. As much as I can be.
Son of a gun though. I am back at it. I really am, again. This isn't a fluke. The medicines, when taken properly, really do help. Anyway, good night.
