I have come to that conclusion. And, to be honest, it is mostly true. I have learned how to make it, sometimes going without food, but always keeping just enough going and on target to not actually die. Today, on another thread, a movie came up, one I watched toward the beginning of my ill health. I had no idea, at that time, how true some things were to me. Although I did note some... similarities. As I said, exhaustion was my plague and this movie, towards the latter part, has the hero become rather limited, quite similarly, actually.
In this clip, I can easily see how I am today. Especially when compared to the last few weeks. I could definitely use a little help, just shaking my head. At least my fingers are wiggling!
This part is another aspect of how to get feminine attention, if that isn't how the movie uses it. For some reason, rhymes and word games have always irritated my womenfolk. Which, combined, has been of great joy to me. Yes, yes, angry women are a joy, mostly. It makes me all... toasty.
This next one reminds of me of many debates I have had with women. Of course, women are usually a little more... emotional... about it. But the discussions usually end up about the same, save no one dies. Instead of besting her giant and Spaniard, I bested her feminist writer or other leftist ideologue. "You only think I guessed wrong!". *grins*
And this final one... Actually this is used when confronted with possibly overwhelming odds. And, I am good at it. While still a hell of a fighter, don't doubt it, I know if I am outnumbered, not doing well, or some other things, that... it could go very bad for me. And yet, I still can't bend a knee. I... just... can't... won't. Christ got it, that's it. So, if all else fails... to the pain indeed.
I definitely enjoyed the movie back then. I was grateful to have accidentally stumbled into it, and mostly because it was all that was available one afternoon. I ended up watching it... ten times? more? I still keep a copy, and watch it from time to time. Ah well. Sometimes we just get lucky, but getting lucky doesn't happen by just sitting around. And, that, even when I was pretty much... mostly dead. So, get on your... bikes and ride.
