To a friend, for my part.

.
.
Well, I liked it too.  I was a bit shy, at one time, and would have preferred to stay that way.  It wasn't to be.  Some part remained shy, innocent.  I locked it away until it was time to try to release even that, but my way, or... the right way.  Still, that wasn't my public lot.  For some, it is all they knew.

  1. Actually, most of my friends. Not sure about M, but I think so. If not then, now?

  3. foam,

Oh, yes, indeed. Or... that is what I see. Actually, in some ways, I'm an outcast in the group. The lion, perhaps, with the lambs? Dunno, something. If so, I do know I don't fit with the lions... anymore.

Yes, and I prefer friends like you.

  4. Hmh. Funny dat. There's a chica from NYC coming to the circus to do a series of classes on street dance and other dance forms. Very high chance I will attend.

My life story in one 3 minute vid. Drama in HS was my initial way out.

  5. Yep. It was a compilation of my friends. I had to showcase it, in... reverence to... people I respect.

You aren't always or this or that, but you all have a humility of self that is real, as brutal in the opposite direction of my sort of brutality. You are what I would have preferred to have been allowed to be.

It's actually good to see you bite, even me, from time to time. Something you might not have always had the opportunity to do. Especially to a giant! I just figure you must feel secure enough to, test those waters. With friends, it works. :)

  6. To quote Yogi Berra: "the future ain't what it used to be."

  7. Giants, of spirit, often arrive in tiny packages. Looks are deceiving. The sermon on the mount... yes... That is how I find my friends. Or... do they find me? Perhaps. Maybe they see me as truly meek, poor in spirit, mournful, and seeking justice? Perhaps you don't see me as I do, at all? And, you could be right.

But I see many of you in this way. So, I would be honored if you saw me as such. Even if I know... I am not what the paperwork indicates. Sadly, actually. Lions do have teeth.

Oh, I see with more than eyes. I see what lies in you. Sometimes you can't always see it, or feel it. I do, I do.

Yeah, and that Yogi Berra thing? When I first heard it, when quite young, I thought the guy had... become senile. Now? It makes all the sense in the world. I still don't know if it was an off-the-cuff quip or if the man had something to him. Difficult to know with athletic types. Sometimes, however, genius isn't in the man, but a moment and a few words?
