Easter wishes.

.
.
Can't always get to one, can't always trust them, but when they work they do wonders.  I woke around 4:00 this morning, started considering a nap about 10:00, not sure when I got in there... I think shortly after considerations.  It was after 13:00 when I woke, probably closing in on 14:00.  A little longer than I prefer for naps, yet, not a bad thing.

I checked the temp earlier, and it was initially sub 40F.  I must admit, I was a bit disheartened.  I also worried about my plants.  Checking after the nap the weather has improved a goodly bit, being slightly north of 60F.   It made me want to get out and do things.  Being Easter I just... wouldn't.  I should be in church.  I simply could not make it.  I've been doing, even as little as I am doing, more than my body is ready to do and by a longshot.  A day off, and a holy day, and a holy of holy days, no, I'll... worship, as I may.  There is hope I can dig more and deeper and find my way back, at least a bit more often.  Confession... I need to do that first.  Yes, yes, it's... always on my mind.  I miss the Eucharist in ways you may not understand... now that I know it won't... harm me.  Or, not in the wrong way.  Some things need harmed, in a twisted way.

Ah, a shower shortly.  I don't think God would have any problem with that.  Perhaps a bath later.  I know, but, on days where I am not working, and given some givens, getting extra clean when possible is a joy.  Soaking can also loosen what I have been over-ratcheting, both a goodness on it's own and a preparation for a new week.  I think these little endeavors please my Lord.  A joy in work, a joy in suffering, and some of the humility of scrubbing a floor on all fours, I think.  Especially for one such as I, if I learned such things from better men... and women.

I hope your Easter is blessed.  May family be present, food be good, prayer, thought, and some ease from other forms of life be yours to enjoy.  Such a thing to have God who loves us even this much, right over our... ways.  Be well, hopeful, faithful, and charitable.
