.
Looking. A pair I have watched before. And, on several
topics. Why? Well, this one should be obvious. While I have
refused a heart transplant, simple medical upkeep... could be a trick.
However, it seems, there is... a way. And, without having to return to
America every year. Or more. As I was watching it, I was sweating
it. Would my choices pop, as places to get what is needed?
European nations, first. Not... quite... my choice. For about a
dozen dozen reasons.
Now, while I really would like Ecuador, Argentina is becoming more likely, for a single dozen reasons. From food to weather to a few other things. Oh, and the clot shot is still required in Ecuador. I wonder if they are still masking? I'll actually have to check about Argentina, as to masking, as well. If it's not ready for prime time, it'll just have to wait.
Finally, near the end, there she was, again. To be honest, I would like
my teeth work done. Last time I received a quote, it was... a lot.
Depending on what all was required, it would be anywhere from $35k to
$50k. But that was with $30k for a surgery that... I... worked to no
longer need. I had been grinding my teeth, from pain I now realize, so
often, that not only did I grind my teeth down, but I was buckling my jaw
hinges.
When told what the problem was, at least orally, I set out to resolve it, and
did. I no long grind my teeth at night. Between the use of a bite
guard, and conscious relaxation, even while sleeping, I reduced, then
eliminated, that as a problem. The pain remains, but the reaction to it
is gone. Still, my teeth are two thirds what they should be.
Braces, I was told, then caps. I... would do that. Not a fast
process, though how much American dentists extend the process, to earn more
money, is anyone's guess. I was told two to three years of braces.
Yikes. And, if required, I would do that. The thing is, I need
actual cash. I can't go into that on nothing, definitely not on
credit.
So... some... sales options... are beginning to seem more dubious. As
well, how to make a reasonable deal... is getting complicated. Still,
the price may well not be met, in any case. So... going anywhere may
simply not be possible. At least until prices and purchase volume, is
enough to get her sold at the right price. Better to hold on than jump
into a maelstrom. Never jump both blind and dumb. One, or the
other, if at terrible risk. But never both unless choice is simply, and
truly, gone. I... haven't been without choice, to this point. And
I have been in places you don't even want to think about. I had choice,
made it, and am here. That... is enough to know. Believe as you
will. *crocodile grin*
Well... I should get to things. After the fatted coffee. Dishes, a
shower, brushing my teeth again... especially after meat sticks! Almost
as bad as sardines! Then... other things. I placed my first order
of this coming month, with what is in the account. I like to keep that
low. Money in there is, I think, slowly stolen. The fed?
People with some odd sort of access? The bank? Amazon?
Someone takes snippets, as they wish, if I don't keep it low. And that
is beside interest rates versus inflation taxation. So, I spend.
With food, mostly, save larder upkeep, managed, sewing kit is on the
menu. That will be done, shortly, as well. Two smaller tables, to
be used independently, or together, with a matt for on top to make the crease
between the two begone. Well, and a few more general patterns, for
practice. An 6 1/2 by 24 1/2 quilt ruler, which works quite well for
almost any sewing, including rolling leftover fabric back into a similar bolt
fashion as they often are purchased, for easier storage, sorting. A few
other things. Yes, I'm... almost taking it seriously.
While I haven't cracked in, that is in part because I have a house to try to
get into shape, and because it is hot as well. Plus, because I still
don't have the tools or space for laying out patterns, and cutting/drafting
patterns. The tables will help with that, a lot. Up off the floor,
together large enough to even kit a quilt together, but certainly trace
patterns.
At some point, notions sort of taper off. Then I begin obtaining
fabrics, batting, buttons, snaps, zips, and such. Spooky to buy too
many, but so expensive by piece. It's... quite a thing to attempt to get
the best, correct, and right materials, needles, threads, and else, for just
one project... economically as possible. It is a whole new world of
engineering. Efficiency, function, and, if possible, then form.
I would really like to begin setting up for an actual suit. Perhaps a
lesser, or daily driver, suit, to start. But, always with an eye to a
haute couture, bespoke, tailored, suit. I don't need hand
stitching. If I ever make a true suit set, rightly, with a machine, that
looks and feels rich? Then, perhaps, for gits and shiggles, I may try a
hand-sewn one. But, for now, the goal is on my first, and next
suit. Experimenting with next level things, in smaller side ways, along
the way. And? My suits will allow full combat. I will NOT be
stuck in a stuff sack, hoping I don't feint while being attacked... or get
beaten half to death because I can't block, punch, or kick. And... I
already know how to do those things. I... studied them, for the close I
currently wear. Found what it took, and how they did it... out of
curiosity.
Oh, well, I... should finish my coffee, and then get on with a few
things. Good early afternoon and day. God speed, and damned
straight. Aye.
