Eyes are dusted, or feel like it.  Just staying awake because I haven't been able to get up and go on to bed yet.  Working on it.

Since I am sitting here, there are a few things I have been meaning to investigate.  The first is making cat food from raw.  I'll be honest, I don't trust canned or kibble cat food.  Even their treats.  The last time I looked, the videos were not very good.  Seemed off.  Most of the ones I have seen are selling something.  Yes, even the one I am going to show.  Though there is an indication of what you could use, otherwise, it isn't fully covered.  Then again, getting the meat ground, with bone and organ?  However, how would you know if you didn't do it.  And, yes, companies, even here in America, will cheat you.  Not saying this one does.  Haven't looked closer than this video.

As well, the cost.  I'd have to look that over.  Though if it is similar enough, even within 30%, I'd consider it.  I'm just not sure how much, at the price.  Currently, Sassy eats one and one half and two cans of 4 ounces of cat food daily.  Generally the lower end, so about six ounces.  But, lest just say eight ounces, to keep it easy.  Thirty days, divided by two (two times eight gets to sixteen ounces, or a pound).  Sixteen pounds a month?  Rabbit meat, which they didn't have, was $37 for five pounds, chicken which they also didn't have, was $22.35 for five pounds.

The bones, is the problem.  I don't think I have a device I would feel comfortable trying to grind bone in.  Even a heavier meat grinder would have trouble with that.  Doing all that, on my own, would be a heck of a trick.  Yea, I don't think I can do it.  Meat, check.  Organ meat, half liver, check.  Ground bone?  I can't see that as possible.  I'd guess you'd burn out even a heavy duty grinder fairly quickly.  Though, perhaps, there are other ground bone products?  However, if it comes for China, and of course because, it would be no better than sticking with the food I am buying?  Right.

The other thing...  Cambodian.  Or Khmer?  I think is how they call it, their name for themselves, their language, both, or one and the same?  Anyway, I... wanted to start with letters.  There are... some resemblances to Japanese.  Then again, Japanese resembles Chinese.  So... right.  I suppose it is like French, English, German, and such.  Between borrowing, stealing (right and wrong), and etc, there will be crossovers.

Just... looking.  However, I will say, between this and other vids I have watched?  While it won't be easy, there are far fewer "letters", than there are in Japanese or Chinese.  Though, perhaps, there are other characters?  Not sure.  This is what I found, and saw, to date.

Now it is about bedtime.  I am getting cold.  Even with it being 79 in here, and 85 outside (a few hours ago), I really am feeling cold.  Ah, 92 now, outside.  And 76 in the main of the house already.  It is 12:40.  My how time flies while not able to sleep... and looking around at things.

Yea, I think I'll go on to bed now.  Just thought I'd share some of my thoughts.  Who knows, may someone out there has tried feeding their furry friends and family a little more primally?  Or knows a bit or else about the Khmer language.  You never know.  While I am an oddball, I am less so esoteric than many who happen to visit.  I think some of you visit for the purposes of sheer boredom.  You are welcome, by the way.  :p
