Awake, early.

.
.
Early comparatively, earlier than expected.  Not... truly early.  Crawled out at 13:30.  Almost got up at nine, but rolled over for a few more minutes, and here I am.

It was 77/75, warmer near me, upstairs, 71/72 downstairs (cooler in the back areas), and 82 outside, probably going higher.  The upstairs was all buttoned up.  I must have forgotten to open up?  Ac was off.  Same with downstairs, no ac.  It got down to, at least, 54 last night.  May have been cooler.  That was at around three, as I was going to bed.

I turned the ac on upstairs, while coming down.  Keeping that a bit cooler helps.  I won't run it all day, just a few hours to shake some of the heat out.  I won't turn the ac on down here, until the coolest temp is 74.  Then I run it... until I don't.  If it hits 72, I turn it off.  If it stays at 73 or higher, I just let it go.  For me, 72 is too cool.

Blood sugar, fasting, is 193.  That's a thirty one point drop, fasting to fasting, so it's... coming back down quickly enough.  Another day of kefir and coffee, to help that along.  Should pull meat to thaw, though.  I'm starting to get hungry for meaty foods.  Not great, but below two hundred, after an excess of sugar water, bad carbs, and such.  I really had hoped it would be lower.  Down to 150, last read, last night.  With today's read, it is averaging 171.  Not absolutely sure the average means anything, to doctors.  They seem mostly interested in the fasting reading.

Reminds me... dental called.  I need to call them back.  And, I need to contact my doctor, as we never did set up lab draws... which he is waiting on.  He'll be waiting a very long time if I don't act.  I'm sort of hoping to get a dental and eye clinic appointment first.  If one of those is soon, get the draw set for that day.  Waiting three months for travel reimbursement will hurt my finances.

Sure, most medical doesn't cover that.  But most medical doesn't require a two to three hour, one way, drive to see a (competent) doctor.  The clinics are... feminist hellholes.  No... thank... you!  If your medical required that sort of drive, they probably would include travel reimbursement (if they wouldn't just tell you, the window for application would be very short, all sort of rules and such would apply, and they would try to screw you out of it, or talk you out of applying).  All the... small writing involved.  Then again, applying for VA transport is tricky, you have to know what to do, and the guy working it this time was trying to be as helpful as a typical union type.  Not at all.  And shitty attitude to go with it.  But, I think I got it.

On to... something.  A bit of browsing, seeing if I can find any more legit news or information.  Then on to gaming.  Maybe a shower later, and some dishes.  A load of laundry?  Whites.  Maybe.  What I can do.  Oh, I'll call dental first.  See if I can set up an appointment asap.  If soon enough, call my doctor's nurse, about a blood draw then.  Later.
