Up, a bit late.

.
.
Down at ten.  The temp was 76, but I forgot.  Checking twenty minutes later, and it's up to 78 out there.  Ugh, but it's going to be a warm one.  Soon.  It was 73/75 upstairs, with it all unbuttoned and the flaps open.  I shut it all down, then turned on the ac before coming down.  Or that will become a hotspot.  I'll turn the ac off in an hour or so.  Create a cool(er) bubble there.

I closed all but the front door, downstairs.  Didn't turn the ac on, yet.  It's 72/69, the front room being the coolest for the moment.  I'll close that door when I turn the ac off upstairs, if not sooner.  As soon as I sense the warm coming in.  Not yet?  May do it anyway, when I finish this.  Then, too, turn on the ac.  As I suggested, I believe this is going to be a warm one, and I am already feeling it from those two quick trips out there.

I may make some burgers while it's earlier, and still relatively cooler.  That sun is blazing today.  Some days it feels warm, some days it seems to almost blister.  It's a blistering day, at least to my mind, senses.  It's summer, so, not out of the blue or anything.  Even if I can't handle it well, it is good to see that we will get some summer.  I like the seasons, want to store up some heat for winter, in my mind.  Each pain helps resist the next pain, heat does cold, cold heat, wet covers dry, a charlie horse on the left balances a dented rib on the right.  Perfect balance is the goal.  :)

I need to get a shower, before long.  Company will be arriving.  Not for a long social call, just to deliver something I can't seem to get out and obtain.  Milk, for kefir.  I... have been trying to get out for almost a week now.  Sort of stuck.  I even offered myself fast food/pizza, if I could get out.  I... want to get up, out.  It just... isn't possible right now.  But I don't want to lose the kefir I have been crafting.  I am enjoying it too much, even if it is from storebought milk.  Plus, this Saturday coming up, I should be able to get back on raw milk.  Just a little blip of storebought stuff, until I can get to the heavy duty real stuff.  Loverly.

Oh, and... I will be changing my methods.  Rather than filling the jars nearly full, between milk and the kefir grains, I will only be filling to two thirds full.  And, they will be burped twice a day, that is have the lid taken off (I love to smell it, then, too... to check, and just enjoy).  If it takes several days to ferment, I'll close the lids tight one time, leave them loose the next.  It seems to... encourage.  More air, then less, plus full refresh of air at least once but better twice a day.  It's a bit of work, but I don't do much other food prep, than salting a meat or forming a burger.  So, yes, I can do that.

I was beginning to drink way too much coffee.  Now I have a coffee, a kefir (before/right as I get to a meal), then a vinegar tonic after.  I think I'll begin make the tonic up ahead of time.  So I can just pour some into my drinking vessel, add the water I want, and be done.  Though, sometimes, it's just water and vinegar.  I'm... working on efficiencies.

A few calls today?  Maybe.  You know, though?  You really have to be considered a hard case when even robocallers give up on you.  It's... been a while.  *grins*  Though... I think there is more to that than what may seem apparent.  Someone decided to do something about some of it.  It's not a hard fix, but it would cut down on phone services.  Though, there are... other problems.  Nothing from government, they don't help us.  They sold out, to the lowest bidder, long ago.  But... there are... people... with teeth.  Some, like me, born with them.  But, still able, unlike me.

Later.
