Couldn't sleep.

Couldn't wake up, either.  Warm?  Too warm?  I finally got up around 22:00.  Just here at 00:50 I checked the temp outside.  It is 45?  That... has been the high, during the day, lately.  So, yes.  It's just too warm, strangely warm.  I had gotten used to it being cold.  A quick flip in the other direction and... I have trouble sleeping... and waking.  Ugh.

I paid most of the utility bill.  I must have... lost track.  It got up to a pretty high number.  I paid two thirds of it this month, and will pay the rest next month.  As well, I paid of the credit card I used for monthly orders, then made my monthly purchase.  Mostly... all... bike related.

I tried the riding jacket.  It fits well enough.  Haven't tried to boots yet, but will.  Ordered riding pants, in two sizes.  Parts and pieces, oil filters, gas filters (which are an addition I will have to add on), a bike manual, and... other such.  Mostly maintenance this month.  Though I will probably be seeing about tools at H.D.  Trying to spread sales around a bit, and for several reasons.

I'd like to get a 1/4" torque wrench.  I think I have a 3/8" and 1/2", for around the house.  I'd like a small one for in the pack.  As well, a 1/4" and 3/8" metric for the travel roll, plus ratcheting wrenches.  Well, and through time, a patch kit, an extra tube, spoke wrenches, and... about a dozen other things for everything from metal repair to axle wrenches.

I decided to go with my own kit.  The fancy kit sounds good, but I... just don't trust anything that sounds that good.  I may still call, and talk with them.  But, for now, I'll go this way.  More certain.  I also found a tool roll that actually does hit every want, some likes, and a few extras beyond.  Further, if it turns out to be cheap and ugly, I can just send it back.  I'll be looking closely.

I can't believe it is 45 out there.  Some warm weather from somewhere blew in.  It has been so cool, cold, that... this almost upsets my system.  I am enjoying it, but... I'm just not ready for it, at this time of night.

Now, to get to a few things tonight.  Gathering trash, collecting recycling, maybe working on tearing boxes down?  Who knows.  A shower, maybe dishes.  The freezertop is clean, but needs to be cleared again.  In part to get in and pull meat to thaw, in part to get on to dishes.

It's been a rough few weeks.  Getting the motorcycle bought, insured, registered and tagged, and on.  Well, and the Xterra as well.  Sort of beat me up, doing just that.  And, feeling like I am near to dying.  I'll... have to sort that out too.  Ugh.  But, maybe, just maybe, I'll get some things going.  Then get the bike set up to ride and get going on that.  But the right way... with oil, brake fluid, radiator fluid, and else changed, filters replaced, spark plug at least checked, and tires well inspected and aired to the right fill.

No doubt, someone could lose an eye, or life, on the thing.  But it won't be from a complete lack of due diligence.  It'll be because it was... time.  Or someone tried to do ape-shit things.  So...  Yeah.  I am more than excited.  Keeping from going out, getting on, and just going... takes a lot of the patience I have earned, learned, over time.  But, I am keeping from it.

Oh, one other thing... gloves.  I have a jacket, boots, helmet... pants are arriving within the week.  But gloves.  I might have some around, for climbing/biking/etc.  Protective, made for these things.  But finding them is another thing altogether.  Probably easier to just buy a new pair.  And... those I have are more for summer.  It's... cold out there, baby.  Yea.  Looking more for gauntlet length.  Ugh.
