Perhaps the gents out there might have some ideas from that side. And maybe the ladies who read here could offer their unique counsel. And, it is a simply question. But allow me to present fully, then ask.
Since I have moved here, and before to my youth, I have had no difficulty finding women with whom to lay. Whether I meet them at a store, in the past at bars, in school or college, where they work, or wherever, it does not seem to matter. Before the last few years, I partook and gladly of the offerings. I have enjoyed many women, probably far too many, though without scourge or disease for my sins. In my decision to become chaste, and my recent decision to become completely and truly chaste until marriage or death, I have had a good deal of freedom to explore these things more fully. And yet the same pattern continues.
That is, I am still meeting women who are quite willing to share their all with me. Which, on the surface, seems to be reason to bolster my confidence and perhaps even dip into the pool of bodily, and hopefully more, affections. It would also seem in line with my goals, that of finding a wife. So what could the problem be? Why would I take exception and flee the scenes only to need to pray like a babbling fool in order to maintain my chastity and goodness? Am I a fool? (That is not the question, we know THAT answer! But bear with me.)
My difficulty, and the question is: Why do I attract only married women? I have had some nibbles, mind you, from here and there, both single and married. But my two strongest hits have been from married women. Neither of them beyond the pale, as lovers go. Both have caused me great consternation in maintaining my oath(s). First to not be with married women, one I made long ago. And finally my oath to chastity. The senses have been so strong that the latter became too weak to sustain for about 3 weeks. The former has held, albeit sorely tested and continuing.
Is there something wrong with me which causes married women to almost flock to me? Is there something I am doing wrong? Must I be less friendly to all to prevent this attraction? Should I speak less and be dull to avoid this? Or is this normal? Are modern women, some women, or women in general, lead to such behavior as a due course of existence? I simply do not understand. Single women seem to want to stay single, married women seem to wish to explore. It confuses me.
The little I know of the two women is that one has been married for a great time, perhaps and most likely, the whole of her life, to one man. A man, often, she speaks unhappily regarding. With her, I think, my size is intriguing. She is an attractive woman who takes good care of herself, and is pleasing to me. The second woman has only been married some short number of years. She, too, is attractive and warm. She is younger than me by a sum but not great sum. Both work, and it is through their work that I have come to know them. Beyond that, I know little.
Confused, but back into the graces of my oath, sit I. Pondering the depths of a pool that I have either played in or now forbidden, but have never understood in any significant way. Though, that is not our lot, to understand the intricacies of intimacy, love, or stirrings along those lines. I do understand this, a swim in either of those offered pools of affection would be a dead end, would become complicated quickly, and would offer nothing but sorrows. Still, I would like to understand my question just a bit more.
Riddle me this...
Have a great day!
Read Roissy and do the opposite.
ReplyDeleteThat is, learn what constitutes beta and omega behavior patterns and use them when trying to keep the hitched gals at bay.
Going a level deeper, I wonder if you subconsciously react a little differently to single eligible women than you do to married and (to your standards) unavailable women? Perhaps exploring these (probably subtle) differences and reversing them might give you the results you're looking for.
Don't expect a damn bit of it to be logical though! Remember it's women you're dealing with. :D :D
I know you question that whole paradigm, but there is far too much of it that rings resoundingly true, given my 45+ years of experience on this blue sphere. Not that there is any call to adopt Roissy's essentially exploitative and amoral use of the information. But it is unquestionably true that women have been lying about what they really want for decades (if not generations), and real, empirical, experimentally derived truths are the only truths worth trusting in this case.
It doesn't hurt that the Bible is pretty much validated by this same data. That is, if you discard the feminized version of Christianity which has sought to erase some of the more pertinent passages.
If you can find the answer, PLEASE share it!
ReplyDeleteI've had the same issue for years (married men more attracted to me than single men). I have no clue.
'Tis a conundrum.
D.C.,
ReplyDeleteI will make it a point to investigate the matter and the author of whom you speak. As for logic, after the first time I kissed a girl, I kissed it goodbye. I knew then that such a thing combined with such a thing is like hooking a toaster directly to a jet engine and wondering why neither works. I hope that made the proper lack of sense? Really, I almost worked on that one.
Jean,
Well, if you can't offer advice, sharing the same paddle, boat, and pond makes me feel better. Empathy is good, even if it is about the bad. Well, actually, why empathy if not about the bad? And, should I find out, behind me you shall be the first to know! *smiles* I would love to see you in the arms of a kindly, single, fool! Who, by his nature of foolishness and your lavishness of the feminine, would soon be a married fool. God bless em', there are many of us. Are you in on the fool pool too? Ha!
D.C.,
ReplyDeleteIs Roissy an author, or are you discussing the blog, Roissy in DC? I cannot seem to find an author that quite fits that.
If it is Roissy in DC, I did his male test and came in as an alpha. Of course, I don't care what he thinks, or really what anyone thinks. Though it was interesting. Then again, after reading there a bit, I am not sure that is really a good thing.
it sounds like a game of committment...or the lack thereof.
ReplyDeletethe prisoners know they have the jailers in thier grasp.
try not being so poetic, maybe you won`t confuse yourself so much.
Roissy in DC is who I meant. There is both wheat and chaff there. If you don't care to sift the chaff for the wheat, that is understandable.

ReplyDeleteDr.,
ReplyDeleteI am not confused, at all, about the problem. The problem has no connection with what I say, at all. As I certainly don't see a ring and wax poetic. And, I actually didn't see what I was writing as poetic at all. Hmm... I thought I was using simple correct English terminology, phraseology, and grammar. I just woke up so looking at my writing won't make sense, I will look at it again later to reevaluate.
D.C.,
I have no problem going through and looking. Some of his stuff does make sense. Actually, to a modern, typically non-religious, heterosexual, single male... He is absolutely correct. Only if there is a God could he be wrong. Before I decided not only was there a God, but that it was important to abide Him and started taking measures to understand what He wanted, I lived that way, to a degree.
If there is no such thing as hell, in other words, and you want to get "ahead", he is on the money. It reduces women to animals, prey animals, but the type of women it reduces thusly are vampires, thieves, users, and whores already, and without Hell, why not?
And, I can see some reverse engineering of his items. Some of it is good even within a simple, real, wholesome domestic relationship with a woman. Some women, especially along the feminist side, really resent this, but good men must train their wives, showing them what is pleasing and what is not, at some serious risk (she now knows your weakness). But if she is a devoted woman, and we are strong, that is not quite the powerhouse she might think.
Well, that is my take. I am not quite sure if I can reverse how I relate to women, many of whom I do not know are married immediately. I try to keep an eye out for rings (which some women remove at work), and listen closely to both what is and what is not said in conversations, but... In any case, I have been a good boy, I deserve a desert... Or a beer fest.
Check.
if you are honestly looking for a relationship with a woman without prior committment, the married women will not stay.
ReplyDeletethe married ones want a different game than the one you say you seek.
i would suggest that if you want to read something effective, try some transactional analysis.
the title, i`m ok, you`re ok is a good place to start.
Dr. Alistair,
ReplyDeleteI do, indeed, honestly seek a full relationship with an honest free woman, at least until we come to an impasse, called marriage. Ha!
I will look into that as well. I do not want to over-analyze every step I take, but I do seem to be dancing the wrong way while dealing with women, so I will have to do some learning.
Bah, back to the school of love. At least some of the homework can be quite fun! *grins*
