I did get up.

.
.
The rest of the morning was pretty much a wash. I had too little sleep. It was a tough haul to make it to Mass. I did make it, if not early. I did, after Mass, turn in the sheet and received some phone numbers regarding some issues, such as joining the Knights of Columbus. For sure, today, the new form of the Mass has begun, at my Church anyway. There are a few new words, phrases. They seem off but probably not as off to me as to those who knew the old words by heart.

I then called my friend. Shooting seemed to be the activity de jour. We, again, ate before we headed out to shoot. He planned to shop tomorrow with his sister, so I did my own shopping alone after returning him to his apartment. I forgot regular tooth paste. I did pick up the roaster from the post office. With the duck thawed, I am now brining it for an hour to be roasted shortly after. One of the things I purchased was a jug of sauerkraut. That goes wonderfully with duck. Since the duck came with giblets, I will dice those and put them in with the sauerkraut, stuffing the mix into the duck. Yum!

I didn't wash the interior of the Xterra. I simply didn't have enough steam this morning and I have been at Mass and then on to my friend's place since. On my way to the grocery store I filled the tank and washed the outside. Tomorrow morning, I hope, I will get to the interior before Mass. From the looks of things, just a bit of tidying in the back bench, vacuuming the floors, and a ammonia cleaning of the windows and mirrors should see my conscience clear for now. I can hit the windows and neatening before Mass, I think, then run into town and vacuum what is needed. I am losing track of what all has been done and needs to be done. Today was rough though. I need more sleep but I really want to get up at 7:00. I will simply have to figure out how to sleep earlier. Perhaps I should knock the furnace down a few degrees more and do that a bit earlier than what I have been doing.

I have no real idea what I am doing. Of course, I know what I am trying to do. I simply don't know if there is a practical means to those ends. I truly live by faith, with hope. I must suffer charity, as well. Then again, at least I am allowed to offer some small amounts of charity too. This simply isn't the life I had ever hoped for. Until getting my act more together, and further joining the Church, I didn't see a future. I couldn't have planned for something I didn't think would happen. At least I have enough elbow room to dig down and begin developing what could be. So tired, today, often. While I can work through it recently, it is always there. Exhaustion, another form of death. A slow means to a certain end. I just had to scrub the days negs.

Later.
