No shoveling!

.
.
While I was preparing to get going (yes, convoluted and uninspiring but that is all I have to give some days) a local, along with some of his children, visited. Just a social call. Checking to see if I had a place for Thanksgiving, which I do. A bit of talk, something about this or that, and a discussion about shovels. I do have some, but none of them are great for snow to be honest. He told me what he likes. I will check it out shortly. But while he was here, the sun cam out and pretty much took care of the sidewalk and driveway.

I found out about my roaster. The delivery company said they were here Saturday at 8:48 or so. I am pretty sure they are lying. I was not only awake, but I had even opened my curtains a bit. No one stopped here, I am very aware of people coming into my driveway or stopping in front of my house, even when I don't have the curtains opened. No matter, I will pick it up at the post office. It is just that I hate being told a lie. I may file a complaint, as if that will do anything though. Still, they should know their employees lie (even if that is what they are probably told to do, to cut time). You know how things are going, corruption is becoming a bigger and bigger part of how business is done. Thank you socialism!

I did try to call my school friend. No luck, but I left two messages. I will be looking at snow shovels before I get ready for Mass, and might just see if they have one in stock. Hmm, maybe I should look over my shovels again. Perhaps I did buy a better one last winter, but I don't think so. No luck on finding parts online for my weight bench, but I might dig in, again, for a protracted search of my home. I am just sure they have to be somewhere. The bolts I needed, I knew a few of those were lost. But the other parts should be around somewhere.

So many things are happening. I am running out of work I can do, though too. I am down to the slow pain-in-the-butt wait-and-see jobs. I have to time to get on that solar oven, but not the money. I could get on the new coop roof, but the weather isn't cooperating, same with painting. Everything is either delayed by weather, expense, someone else, complicated procedures I am figuring out, or something. Perhaps, turning in the sheet to Church Monday, they will be able to help me do more.

On to it. Have a great day.
