I was a bit worried about this morning after *cough* last night. I actually didn't have all that much. It did hit like a hammer though. Oh, maybe five or six mixed, or the equivalent. This morning is just fine. Not even a little fuzz. However, my days continue to slip. That has more to do with being unable to sleep at night, early enough. I am not sure what to do about that but I'm thinking.
Oh, right. I told you yesterday, that I would tell you, tomorrow, what is better than fresh coffee in the morning. So, I will tell you... tomorrow! Just kidding. What is, truly, better than fresh coffee in the morning? You coffee lovers know. Nothing! Ah well. But there it is. Hope it was worth the wait.
I have goals, again, today. Getting the kitchen sink to flow is the primary goal. No sweating, so... Now, a suggestion came in that perhaps the screen on the tap might be the problem. I WILL check that, but it's a new faucet. As was the one before it that had this same problem, and the one before it that was here when I moved in... with the same problem. None of their screens were the problem, but... I will check. Mostly as a last resort, because what I found in changing the other two screens was that could end up being a death sentence for those screens, getting new ones is far from as easy as just asking at the hardware store, and even getting them back on is a trick akin to learning to ride a bicycle for the first time. Still, if the flex-hoses are good, I will be removing the faucet whole and begin... exploring. I... dread this part. I break things so easily.
If I can get to that, and get that going... finished... actually... then I want to change the valves in the bathroom so I can shut the water off right there, plus figure out why the flow is so poor in there. This is not going to be a fun set of tasks. And... I'm not sure what to do if none of it works. Replacing the faucet in the sink twice, in the end with an absolutely top notch faucet, did not work. So the problem isn't with three different faucets, but the system, somehow. A plumber? So expensive. I fear that, sweat it. Time will tell.
Uhrm, assuming I can regain focus and begin the work today. The sooner I start, the faster I will know if I can fix the problem. It's an ugly thing but it's what I have. And... I sort of like doing these sorts of things if I didn't feel so pressed for easy, fast, success. It never seems to ends up easy, it's never fast, it always takes longer than suspected, it dries me out and washes me up... but... Yeah. At least I am starting off with a good day. Later.
No worse for the wear then, eh?
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course it's coffee ..
Not a bit worse. Actually, it was medicinal in a minor way. Had a pebble in the craw, just needed a twist and shout, and sip. But, I did go mildly, if quickly, into that marsh.
ReplyDeleteAh, but you knew the answer yesterday! I didn't fool anyone with that question, even those who don't like coffee. That wasn't the point, though, of course. All about a bit of fun. Still... nice of you to know and say. Completes the loop!
