I am taking it a bit easier today. More slowing than truly stopping. I combined baking powder and diatomotacious earth and sprinkled that in the closet and around the spare bedroom. I have a load of laundry going and plans for two or three more loads. I folded one of the items in the driers, from last night. The other item was still damp so it went back in. As well, I have been sorting small boxes of stuff, tossing, sorting, even some storing. Oh, and I put a shade together tonight. It's an odd thing, made to fit on a bulb outlet that doesn't have a cover. It was... a puzzle, with Chinese instructions. The instructions make no sense, but the pieces, the number of slots, and what is and isn't possible becomes clear, or not. For me it was a matter of ignoring the instructions, for the most part, and just doing. And I did.
I may make that roast, as well, tonight. Cooking half of the root veggies while at it. I have had salad already, but could use another. The kefir projects worked extremely well. I even obtained kefir grains. I had no clue if that would work. It is a lot cheaper, too, than ordering in grains. Which means my creme fraiche is good. I just need to make mayonnaise, combine it with that and else, plus the package of ranch mixing to make that dressing. Yes, I love that stuff. Hmm, a small batch of that, a small batch of simple mayo, and then a refill on the vinaigrette. I love my cooking, sometimes. I love what I can do, what I push to learn to do, and how it all works, when I can do it. If I had a woman to shop, and at least help with the cleaning, I'd... do more than cook. *grins*
Hmm? Oh, maybe some gaming, and then some salad dressing, or vice versa. Then a salad after a bit. And, finally, the roast. Of course, turning the laundry over every hour and an half. Hey, it's light duty, not dead duty. Hmm... seems someone remembered something from the past. It fits here, now, well. Later.
