Just because? No. I did too much while too tired. I didn't break anything, if everything was stretched. All good. It does a body good. Even the dead should dance from time to time. The bread, and other mild efforts, haven't been a problem. Actually those have helped. Good food should help in recovery.
No new bread tonight. In reviewing several potential new recipes, I learned some things. Things which will affect how I make the next batch but require taking notes of things already missed. Plus, with the new recipe, other things have been missed. I am not sure I will be making it even tomorrow, as I may be trying to see when the sourdough starters double. And I am still tired, plus I have a business drop in tomorrow.
Oh, the video recipe? Here. What real difference is there between her's and mine? Final shape. The texture looks quite familiar, the crust sounds the same. Her's held it's shape and expanded like half a balloon. Which makes better fuller sandwich bread. I will probably let the stand mixer do the chore though.
I cannot believe how good, and easy, this really was. It takes focus more than any real work. The cost isn't prohibitive, even starting with nothing. Gotta put down the smartphone for five or ten at a time, stand a bit, do work a mostly dead old guy can do. I know, the world is hard, might as well quit? Too lazy even to end it. Expect the government to do everything for you, plus take out armed capitalists who paid for it all?
Hmm? Oh, just thinking out loud.
