If only, or partly, because I got out.  A bill, partly paid, and some information gathered.  A stop at both banks, to engage in business.  The business was completed to satisfaction.  Got the vehicle through the cleaner.  Had a lunch.  Maybe not totally kosher, for keto, but close.  Got the shower in, earlier, and put the dishes in for a final soak.

So... not bad.  I wanted to do two more things, but it was hot.  Oh, and I was driving around with two propane tanks.  Wanted to exchange them.  They only had one, so I took it.  I'll change the other next time I am out.  Perhaps see if my store does that, has one.  That way I could shop and get the tank, or at least find another source.  Sometimes they close those types of things around 17:00.

I won't be doing much else, down here anyway, today.  Too hot, too tired.  It is 88 outside, at 30% humidity.  It is 79 at 40% humidity in the front room, if 76 in the main?  I think so.  I may go on upstairs, after resting just a bit while browsing a short while.  Maybe I can open up the other table.  to get the cutting mat and ironing mat situated, so I can more easily just cut things when I wish.

Oh, I... made a deal, at the place where I bought the machine.  They were going to offer me a 25% price cut, when I finish paying for the final device.  Which... is fine.  But... I just spent a bundle, and will be spending a bundle again.  So, asking me to double up is a bit rough.  She knows what I spent, thought about it for a second, then granted it.  I am hoping for just a ticket for that off.  Within a year or something.  I'll save up for a number of things.

I'd like to get enough for a quilt or two.  For practice.  Plus, various fabrics to practice the various threads and techniques.  Reading, watching, listening, might all help.  But until you put your hands into the guts of projects, and most likely make serious mistakes?  You won't learn.  I want to know as much as possible, as quickly as possible.  That will take a few hours at the machine every day.

Oh, I have stuff to practice with.  But very simple practice.  I don't have batting, backing, fill, stretch fabrics for t-shirts, enough of any material for a poplin short sleeved shirt, or dress long sleeve.  I am even thinking about a "pirate" shirt, maybe even, in part, by hand.  Linen, though, is... damnably expensive.

I had thought about buying at amazon.  But between quality issues, shipping issues, deliver issues, underselling, and else?  I... think I'll just pay a bit more, see what I am getting, and get the quality I want.  I get it.  It's brutal.  Fuel prices.  UPS and amazon are probably having to put their heads together, and squeeze every dime, nickel, penny even, out of everything.  But... if it is to that point, customers mean nothing.  I'll wait until they take care of the mess they installed.  I... think the millionaires are going to have to eat the billionaires, first.  But... that's possible.  Mustached Petes will... just have to be taught.  Or is it the other way around?  Perhaps it's the slower handed, less thieving, Mustached Petes who have to take it back from the young turks?  We'll see.

I did get a nice lot of things done.  Not everything, but... for the heat, and what else I have been doing, not... bad. Not bad at all.  And... I'm not done.  I've still got things to do today.  And I... will do what I can to get them done.  I thank God every time He seems to let me roll.  Slow or fast, up or down, I... like to work.  Good day.
